Celebrations of the Elysee Treaty Fiftieth Anniversary Seen by the French Press

This bachelorʼs thesis focuses on media analysis, specifically the analysis of the newspaper articles of the three most important French newspapers Le Figaro, Le Monde and Libération. The thesis aims to find out how the French press evaluated Franco-German cooperation in January 2013 when the fiftieth anniversary celebrations of the Elysee Treaty were going on. The Elysee Treaty also known as the Treaty of Friendship between France and Germany was created by efforts of Charles de Gaulle and Konrad Adenauer and was signed on 22 January 1963. The thesis is divided into three chapters. It begins with the description of the process of the birh of Franco-German cooperation. Then it describes the content of the Treaty and celebrations itselfs. Next two chapters apply the quantitative analysis of media on the corpus of 37 articles. In the second chapter the thesis uses frequency analysis. It researches different categories of words and how many times these concrete words are mentioned in the articles. This method provides us with the first analytic look into the articles. The third chapter includes deeper content analysis with the help of coding analysis. St. Wenceslas's millenium through the optics of periodical press

This bachelor thesis focuses on St. Wenceslas's millennium, which means to put in remembrance religious, cultural and political meaning of St. Wenceslas. The most intensive celebrations took place in the last September decade of 1929. The pivotal theme of the work is a response to the main celebrations in the Czech daily press. There is not of course forgotten St. Wenceslas's tradition development, millennium preparations or other events linked to St. Wenceslas's anniversary. These problematics were processed just partially in minor literature and that is why the author wants to make use of it in her analysis of historic sources. So she concentrates on historic press. Although the publications, which originated in connection with the millennium, or the ones that address St. Wenceslas do not escape her attention, too.
Prague coronation of king Matthias on 23rd may 1611 in the light of contemporary documents

To the coronations which took place in Pre-White time, not enough attention has been paid yet. As it appears, enough accounts were preserved not only in contemporary prints but also in manuscript sources - in the works of chroniclers, in memories of persons present and above all in official and private correspondence. In addition to writen sources also material sorces and great part of iconographic sources have been preserved. The elaboration and evaluation of the sources to one of them, to the coronation of Matthias of Habsburg in Prague on May 23rd 1611, is a subject of the first half of this thesis. The coronation in the life of souvereign is a ceremony that generally certificates his leading position in the country. This ceremony customary is executed in accordance to the prede- terminated order. In case of the lands of Bohemian crown binding form has been set by coronation order of Bohemian kings Ordo ad coronandum Regem Bohemorum, prepared by Charles IV. The main core of this order was maintained also by Matthias coronation. His coronation in the cathedrale of Saint Vitus was a festive ceremony strongly influenced by then political situation. Civil elite, local autorities and culture of the town of Telč

This dissertation is dealing with the town of Telč and its way of living in the first half of the 20th century. The research is focused on the thorough analysis of local authorities from the social and occupational point of view, territorial origin and location of residence its various fellows. The main purpose of this is to idicate the changes which coincided with the influence of nationwide political, social and economic changes. The illustration of six Telč´s families with various professions charts their share which affected the social, cultural and public life of the town. The aim is to get an integral view of this period, therefore the grammar school staff have been included, because of their participatory role in local authorities and social life as well. Municipal and school celebrations have been included to illustrate the cultural backround of provincial town in the first half of the 20th century.
Forty years of school history in Mezimostí in the years 1907-1947

This bachelor thesis deals with the history of the school in Mezimostí in the years 19071947. It describes life at the school at the time of the prewar, war and postwar. At the beginning, I described life in the early 20th century, after the period from 1907 to 1947. The individual chapters are specifically aimed at students, teaching staff, school subjects. Celebrations and their Importance not only in Waldorf Nursery School

In my thesis I deal with the importance of celebrations in the life the nursery school. Folk culture reflected in the lived of the celebrations has been passed from generation to generation. I am thinking about the benefits of those celebrations and about their usage for not only children but also for their parents. In the theoretical part of my thesis I am focusing on the interpretation of terms related to the topic, particularly on the characteristics of the celebrations, the connection with the process of child´s socialization, with the Waldorf pedagogy and with its key component ? the celebrations themselves. In the practical part of my thesis I am describing the real celebrations as they are held in the Waldorf in nursery school cooperation with the families. In the research part of my thesis I am therefore making the research on this family cooperation during the celebration in the Waldorf nursery school. In my research I was applying the query methods based on interviews and questionnaires.
