Polymer Elements for a Business Process Management System
Pahuta, Serhii ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
Software Support of an Order Lifecycle Management
Brejchová, Monika ; Sekanina,, Pavel (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
This Master’s thesis deals with the analysis and optimization of the order lifecycle process at a company providing comprehensive ICT services. Theoretical basis for analyzing and optimizing business processes is described in the first part. The second part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of the order lifecycle process, in the context of other business processes and organizational and management structures deriving from the business strategy. A description of existing ICT resources to support the process is also included. The solution proposal of the work presents possible ways to optimize the process and its software support.
Dynamic Workflow Extension for Jenkins
Sviták, Jiří ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Letko, Zdeněk (advisor)
The main of the master's thesis has been to implement a plugin for Jenkins, which enables flow control of launching Jenkins jobs by using business processes. Project jBPM 5, which is based on Business Process Model and Notation 2.0, has been used for business processes. Two sample business processes have been drafted and successfully tested to demonstrate functionality. The main output of this thesis is the jBPM plugin for Jenkins released under free license.
Web Services to Integrate BPMS in BPMN 2.0 Specification
Mihola, David ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Hruška, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to chose and implement appropriate BPMN blocks, which enable integration with surrounding web based systems, exchange of messages between parallel BPMN processes and their synchronization. The goal was reached with an implementation of an information system, which is based on the MVC design pattern. The system primarily enables uploading of BPMN models, their configuration and creation of BPMN processes described by those models, which can be then managed and solved within the system. Synchronization of BPMN processes owned by different organizations, which are using instances of this system, and message exchange between them is specified by users in BPMN models with blocks Message Event and Signal Event. The system then executes modeled synchronization and message exchange. Integration of this system with other systems is ensured via Application Programming Interface calls, which can be configured in the GUI. Configured APIs can be integrated into BPMN models by using the Service Task block. That enables automation of API calls with data obtained during the interpretation of BPMN processes. Great emphasis was also placed on security and correct code structuring during the implementation.
Interactive Designer of Executable BPMN Workflows for GPC Platform
Havelka, Ondřej ; Michal,, BATKO (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the issue of process modeling and its application in workflow modeling within the GPC framework. Specifically, it deals with the design and implementation of a module which will allow users to easily transform process diagrams of the widely used BPMN 2.0 standard into executable proprietary workflows that are used to configure the framework's processes. The solution will allow users to customize the platform for their purposes in a way that is familiar, visual and significantly simpler than existing solutions.
Workflow Support on the JavaScript Platform
Válka, Miroslav ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to design and create simple workflow system for processing and managing business processes. The workflow system is based on one part of BPMN 2.0 specification, which is focused on business process model. Specifically, it focuses on private business processes. Developed simple workflow system is designed to operate on Node.js platform and its application interface is implemented using GraphQL. TypeScript language was chosen for implementation. This thesis also evaluates usability of GraphQL technology in combination with TypeScript language.
Transformation of Business Process Models
Wohlgemuth, Jan ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Weiss, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with research of business processes modeling, especially with using of the BPMN notation. Further, this work discusses representation of business processes in the text form using the extensible markup language - XML; its advantages and disadvantages. The main content of this work is the transformation of a model denoted in the BPMN notation into the UML language standard. This transformation is made at the level of XML specification. A simple application that can perform the given transformation is a part of this work.
ITIL and COBIT Implementation in ARIS Toolset
Škoviera, Martin ; Kreslíková, Jitka (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This master's thesis explores the topic of guidance for the COBIT framework and ITIL library in the context of business process management. It encompasses various process modelling languages and diagrams for companies active in information and communication technologies. Through the selected ARIS tool set and the mapping of all 64 processes, the establishment of individual processes can now be achieved, which is explained by modelling a total of 101 diagrams. The thesis also contains an example of process deployment for a selected company, which is accompanied by an implementation of a dashboard application that monitors the ticket flow of service operation processes.
The process of purchasing a manufacturing company
Šurík, Jakub ; Chromý,, Marek (referee) ; Juřica, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the process of purchasing in a selected manufacturing company. In this thesis I focused closely on the individual parts of the purchasing process. The first part summarizes the basic theoretical background and terms. The next part describes the curerent situation and analyses the problem. The last part presents proposals how to accelerate the purchassing process and their benefits.
System for Workflow Management Support
Soukup, Zdeněk ; Weiss, Petr (referee) ; Květoňová, Šárka (advisor)
Paper discusses a process management, its advantages and the modern technologies for its support. Application, as subject of this work, has been developed for visual designing of bpmn standard processes and its export to XPDL format.
