iOS Application for Mapping of Gastronomic Services
Martinů, Michal ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis contains design and implementation of application for iOS operating system. Also, it focuses on the description of current technologies used to create an application and the current state of completed solutions. Design, implementation and testing of the application are made thanks to the aforementioned knowledge. The final application allows users to view nearby gastronomic facilities. Contents of the application is created by the users themselves.
iOS Application for Painting Visualization in Augmented Reality
Mensák, Samuel ; Polášek, Tomáš (referee) ; Bobák, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with augmented reality on mobile devices made by Apple with focus on visualization of images on vertical plane. At the beginning of the thesis, reader is informed about technologies related to augmented reality and development of mobile and web applications in Swift programing language. Based on these technologies, mobile application and web server is designed and implemented. The thesis describes whole process of development starting with designing of UI, continuing with implementation and testing and finishes with working mobile application and web server. The resulting client-server system enables user to visualize paintings in augmented reality using mobile app.
Automated Plant Growing
Švancer, Jan ; Široký, Adam (referee) ; Musil, Martin (advisor)
This thesis combines two current trends - the Internet of Things and Urban Agriculture. It describes technologies for wireless sensors communication in smart homes and hardware for their implementation. Based on these technologies smart hardware for automatic plants growing is implemented and connected to cloud with remote access via iOS mobile application.
Thermostat on LinkIt Smart Platform
Bartoň, Jan ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the automation of heating regulation in the household. The goal is to design and implement a prototype of a embedded system to enable the automation of the heating control process with the emphasis on low acquisition costs. The proposed system is used to control the eQ-3 MAX! wireless radiator thermostats. The user interface of the system is the touch screen. As well as iOS mobile application that allow remote control of the system. A prototype of a Wi-Fi sensor is designed and implemented to measure temperature. The work includes hardware and software design of individual parts of the system and their implementation. The resulting system is a good basis for a low-cost system for comprehensive home automation.
A Game for Apple TV
Kramár, Adam ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
This thesis consists of the design and implementation of the Apple TV game and a description of the technologies used. The game was programmed in Swift, executable on Apple TV with the tvOS operating system. The game is based on SpriteKit, which allows you to develop simple games for tvOS. The game is tested and fully functional on real devices. The advantages of the game are low hadrware requirements and a simple concept of the game.
Evolution and Characteristics of Tailess Aircraft
Prokop, Vít ; Vaněk, František (referee) ; Daněk, Vladimír (advisor)
This bachelor work is about Evolution and Characteristics of Tailless Aircraft divided into two sections. The first section will cover the questions about stability and maneuverability of the aircrafts. The second section will cover a type overview of these aircrafts and a comparison of their flying characteristics.
Tracker of Motorcycle Trips for iOS
Pinka, Martin ; Sochor, Jakub (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to create an innovative mobile application that can be used for tracking of motorcycle trips on iOS platform. The benefits include the improvement of automatic pause detection mechanism, which ignores movements that user do not want to include in the trip.Additionally, the application provides a way to organize records which helps user to find specific recorded trip.  This is solved by using tags that can be added to the records. The solution greatly improves the speed of finding specific routes if the user honestly fills information about trips. The implementation part of the thesis describes the drawing of a very long colored polyline on the map where colors represent speed of passing the places. As a result of all the effort there is an innovative, functional application that is ready for real usage.
Squirrel: Web Framework in Swift
Klembara, Filip ; Bobák, Petr (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create a Swift framework that allows to create web applications and is easy to use, works with the MongoDB database, offers custom templates, minimizes the need for key-value programming, and uses Swift 4. I have solved the problem by implementing server application, which is working with my framework. I used generic programming and Codable protocol, which allows simple data serialization. The created solution provides an environment for creating web applications for all Swift-supported Linux distributions. The benefit of this work is to simplify the development of web applications for Swift developers.
System for Augmented Reality Utilisation in Museums and Galleries
Müller, Frederik ; Šolony, Marek (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The aim of the master thesis is to provide visitors of various types of objects - typically galleries, museums, etc. with additional information about exhibited objects with emphasis on visual display in augmented reality. It includes an analysis of already existing solutions, design and implementation of the entire system needed for deployment. From the point of view of the content creator (administrator), the system represents a complex solution enabling the creation of an interactive walk - scanning 3D objects, scanning 2D objects and adding content to the given objects. On the other hand, the tool for visitors (users) who are part of an interactive walk, provides additional information about objects primarily located near the user, which are automatically detected by the camera on the mobile phone. Solution includes augmented reality, which is implemented using ARKit technology, so the final application is built on the iOS platform. The work addresses the issue of detection of 3D objects and their subsequent recognition, along with the way to work with this information, how to store it and then use it for purposes of this thesis. In the final solution, emphasis is placed on the simplicity of the usage (guide marks, hints...) and overall user experience.
Multimedia Player for iOS
Singh, Kevin ; Číka, Petr (referee) ; Grabovský, Štěpán (advisor)
Diploma work „Multimedia player for iOS“ deals with the description of the video formats such as HLS, MP4, MPEG Transport Stream, and Dash. Next, it continues with protected content DRM, VAST advertisements and analytics tool called Google Analytics. During compilation of this diploma work was created a framework in programming language Swift. This framework is basically a player, that besides playing Interactive videos is able to show ads, subtitles, can change the video quality, AirPlay and download the content for offline playing. A feature to play a protected content could not be done as a developer's request for a product deployment SDK Fairplay was refused from an SDK owner. A testing app was also created that implements developed a framework and prove the functionality of the developed functions.
