The bachelor thesis is devoted to the characteristics and features of agriculture in the Russian Federation. The theoretical part describes the Russian Federation in general, its basic characteristics for a better idea of the country from the social, economic and agricultural point of view. The next part of the literature review is an introduction to the history of agriculture and its overall role. An important part of the formation of the structure of agriculture is the influence of sanctions both from Russia and from the neighboring countries or from the European Union. A significant part of the bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the formation of sanctions and its role in agriculture. The subsequent part of the thesis, created independently, will present the very structure of agriculture in the Russian Federation and will focus on the basic agricultural indicators as crop and livestock production and consumption of basic raw materials in Russia. Agriculture as a system cannot function without relations with foreign countries, therefore in the subsequent part the agrarian foreign trade of Russia is mentioned with the realization of import and export of raw materials.

Does the 2022 Russian Invasion of Ukraine accelerate Italy's green energy transition? Analysing the impacts of the war on Italy's natural gas security of supply and green energy transition

In the wake of the 2022 Russian-Ukrainian War, Italy's natural gas security and green transition have come under scrutiny. This thesis explores the impact of the conflict on Italy's energy landscape, focusing on its natural gas supply, affordability, and energy diversification strategies. The findings reveal that the conflict significantly impacted Italy's natural gas security by triggering proactive measures from the government to diversify gas sources and enhance energy affordability. However, on the green transition front, short-term priorities emphasized energy security over immediate acceleration towards renewable energy. The study contributes to the field by shedding light on the interplay between geopolitical events and energy security, offering insights for policymakers and researchers.

Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant and Energy Diplomacy: How Construction of the Akkuyu Power Plant affected Energy Diplomacy between Turkey and Russia? A Process Tracing Approach.

In 2010 a contract was signed between Russian Rosatom and Turkey to build the first Nuclear Power plant (NPP) in Turkey called Akkuyu NPP. The aim of this thesis is to analyze energy diplomacy between Turkey and Russia in context of the construction of Akkuyu. By analyzing energy diplomacy in the context of Akkuyu NPP gives a better understanding of bilateral relations, national interest, economic considerations and security concerns. To study this, explaining the outcome type of Process Tracing (PT) was used as it allows analyses within a case. Akkuyu NPP in itself is unique as it is the first NPP that is built on Build Operate and Own (BOO) principle that is technically owned by the Russian Federation. Three hypotheses were formulated and tested. As a result, out of three hypotheses two were proven. The first hypothesis that argued that the construction of Akkuyu NPP was used as an energy diplomacy tool by Russia to promote national interest was conclusively proven but had some plausible indications. Hypothesis two and three demonstrated that construction of Akkuyu was affected by energy diplomacy and economic considerations and Akkuyu NPP has negatively affected energy diplomacy between Turkey and Russia. Energy policy of the Federal republic of Germany towards the Russian Federation during the Angela Merkel era

This thesis focuses on German energy policy towards the Russian federation during Angela Merkel's leadership as Chancellor of Germany (2005-2021). The primary focus is the import of Russian natural gas to Germany and related projects such as Nord Stream and Nord Stream II. The aim of this thesis is to answer the research question of whether the energy interests of the Federal Republic of Germany have led to an increase in its dependence on the Russian Federation. The thesis analyses the German approach towards both their own energy policy and the policy of the Russian Federation and aims to contextualise this with data connected with Russian gas exports to Germany. The analysis shows that the Federal Republic of Germany ran its energy policy towards the Russian Federation independently of Russian policy actions and the wider criticism received from various German partners. The conclusion of the thesis is that the energy policy of the Federal Republic of Germany conclusively led to an increase in its dependence on the Russian Federation.

The bachelor thesis deals with the importance of the Russian car market for car manufacturers in the Czech Republic. It deals with the analysis of the position of individual car manufacturers from the Czech Republic on the Russian market. Analysis of the Russian car market and, also a survey of the Russian Federation's international trade in cars and, also a survey of the Russian Federation's interna-tional trade with cars. The aim is to determine the position of manufacturers from the Czech Republic on the Russian automotive market and, if necessary, to propose a strategy for a short-term / long-term increase in sales and strengthening the po-sition in this market.

Title of the dissertation: The Status of Non-Governmental Organisations in International Law on the Example of the Russian Federation Abstract The dissertation deals with the status of non-governmental organisations in international law. It approaches this issue from two perspectives. The first is the international law regulation of non-governmental organisations in the international system. The second is the question of the impact of international law on the regulation of non-governmental organisations at the national level. These two perspectives are interrelated since, without compliance with the requirements of international law at the national level, non-governmental organisations cannot be active at the international level. The dissertation demonstrates this thesis on the example of the Russian Federation, which has adopted legislation on non-governmental organisations that severely restricts their functioning and very existence in the last ten years. The GIUK's gap Geopolitical Importance

The following thesis is focusing on the geopolitical as well as geostrategic significance of the GIUK Gap. In addition to an overview of the realist theories of international relations used in the analysis as such, the thesis includes a section devoted to the historical development of the geopolitical and geostrategic significance of the GIUK Gap, but above all an analysis of the current geopolitical and geostrategic significance of the once mentioned specific North Atlantic region. The analysis of the current geopolitical situation is written with an emphasis on the increasing importance of the area for NATO and the Russian Federation, whose interests have increasingly clashed in recent years, not only in this region. The aim of the paper is to demonstrate a causal relationship between the generally deteriorating relations between NATO and the Russian Federation following the annexation of Crimea in 2014 and the growing importance of the GIUK Gap.

The Ukraine crisis, Russia and the West: clashing strategic visions

This thesis looks at the 2014 Ukraine crisis through the lenses of strategic culture by analyzing both the Russian Federation and the European Union's strategic cultures. Over the last eight years, the annexation of Crimea and intervention in Donbass have received a great deal of attention as it was the first geopolitical power struggle in Europe between East and West since the Cold War. Since most of the scholarly work dealing with the 2014 Ukraine crisis have taken a realist approach, this thesis is taking a constructivist approach in order to cover this gap. The paper will cover the Russian strategic culture - the institutional influence of the intelligence services and agencies, foreign political rhetoric, security-related texts, the influence of the leading institutions and the role of 'active measures' - as well as the one of the EU - the influence of the German strategic culture, multilateralism and military restraint. Overall, the thesis will try to shed new light on the 2014 Ukraine crisis so that we can garner more insight on this event.
