Static analysis of the roof structure

This bachelor thesis deals with analysis of roof of a nursery school and comparing few calculation models. Model was created according to provided foundations in program Dlubal RFEM 6.01. The load of the contruction was created due to valid norms. Created models were evaluate to limit state of load capacity, where the results were compared with manual calculation and on limit state of usability.

Static analysis of the roof structure

The thesis is focused on a static analysis of a roof truss with a steel purlin. It is a pitched roof of an L shaped groundplan. Computational model of the structure is carried out in the RFEM 5.07 software tool, which performes calculations using the Finite Element Method. There are 14 load cases applied on the model of the structure. The variable loads were determined according to ČSN EN 1991-1. The individual load-bearing elements are assessed for an ultimate as well as for a serviceability limit state. The assessments are processed by a hand calculation and verified by an assessment of the structure performed in the additional software modules RF-TIMBER Pro and RF-STEEL EC3. In the last part of the thesis there are some specific joints of the elements defined.

Bachelor’s thesis focus on design of Scout house a free time facility named K15 in Olomouc, city part Nové Sady. The building will stand on the land plot number 408/1, 408/2, 408/3 and 112/7. Owners of land are investor and an adjacent elementary school. The building will primary serve as a base for the 7th Scout unit "Yellow Blossom" Olomouc, which has currently about 90 active members in three main age categories - fireflies and pups (7-11 years), Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts (11-15 years) , Rovers and Rangers (15-99 years). Scout troops, which associate children of the same age, meets twice a week in their clubhouse-currencies, under the direction of leader who organize and manage the activi-ty entirely voluntarily and free of charge.

Detached house with surgeries, Vigantice

The aim of this bachelor thesis is a desing of a detached house with a dental surgery. The building issituated in the village of Vigantice. The detached house has two floors and a semi-basement. The ground plan of the house is rectangular and the house is covered with a gable roof. The vertical load-bearing assembly consists of concrete blocks of permanent formwork and ceramic blocks Heluz. The carrying construction of the roof is made from prefabricated wooden trusses. The layoutof the house is divided into a private area and a dental surgery.

THE AIM OF THE BACHELORS THESIS IS A NEW BUILDING OF A SMALL APARTMENT HOUSE IN UHERSKÉ HRADIŠTĚ. BUILDING HAS FOUR FLOORS AND ONE UNDERGROUD FLOOR. IN THE UNDERGROUND FLOOR ARE STORAGE STORES FOR BULDING USERS AND A TECHNICAL FACILITIES. THERE ARE TWO APARTMENT UNITS AT EACH FLOOR, 2+1 AND 3+KK, OVERALL THERE IS EIGHT APARTMENTS UNITS, APARTMENT 3+KK ON THE GROUND FLOOR IS MADE AS A ACCESSIBLE FLAT, ALL FLATS ARE SOLVED IN THE SAME WAY. BUILDING IS EQUIPPED WITH LIFT FOR IMMOBILE MAINLY BECAUSE OF ACCESSIBLE FLAT. IT´S A MOUND BUILDING MADE BY POROTHERM SYSTÉM WITH PREFABRICATED FLOOR, PITCHED ROOF IS MADE BY ROOF STRUCTURE. OVERALL CONSTRUCTION FITS SURROUNDING BUILDINGS.

The building is located in the cadastral area of the village Zborovice [791679]. It is a corner plot with parcel number 1035 and an area of 1764 square meters. Apartment building is designed as stand-alone house with three floors, basement and with gable roof. It contains eight housing units, form which one is for person with reduced mobility. The facade of the building is partly designed as a ventilated facade with fiber-cement cladding in color - khaki brown. The rest of the facade is white. Perimeter masonry is made of ceramic blocks. The ceiling structure consists of a reinforced concrete slab. The exterior skin is insulated with basalt mineral wool boards.

Detached house with a workshop

The topic of this bachelor‘s thesis is processing of a project documentation of a new building of detached house with a workshop – design office with facilities. The building is located in the inner city of Hradec Králové on a flat plot. This detached house has no basement. There is ground floor and residential attic. Building has a irregular plan with the biggest proportions 14,32 m x 15,32 m with height of main ridge 7,66 m. This main roof truss covers double storey part of house and roof slope is 30°. Single storey part of house is covered by mono-pitched roof with roof slope 12°. At the southwest wall of building is huge terrace with a sitting. It is accesible from living room. Whole object surrounds by garden with new trees and bushes. Near to entering the building is a little pond. At the northeastern part of plot is a small parking place. Layout of house is adapted for four-membered family. An important part of the house is a design office enabling work from home. This building is middle size. There are rooms like living room, guest room, facilities and garage. Covered entrance to wind lobby is situated in the northeastern part of the plot. From this wind lobby is possible to acces to design office or staircase hall which is situated at ground floor in the center part of house. At the southeast part of house is situated guest room and utility room. At the southwest is a huge living room with dining area and kitchen which is center of social life of the familly. Northwest part of house is intended for facilities, pantry, registry, storage and garage. At attic is situated bedrooms with dressing rooms and sanitary facilities, gaming-room and storage.

The theme of this bachelor thesis is realization of project documentation for new apartment building. The main aim is development of apartment building in Čejkovice, which will house four family with children. There are four maisonette flats, two of the have 5+KK disposition, garage and shared technical room. Two apartments are 4+KK, garage and shared technical room. The Building is designed as masoned with ceramic bricks HELUZ, based on the concrete strip foundation. Roof is designed as a roof truss made from collar beam system. Clay tile roofing Wienerberger is used as roof covering while the roof itself is pithched at 35°. The Ceiling above 1NP is designed as monolithic reinforced concrete slab 250mm thick. Staircase that leads to 2NP is designed as a wooden with wooden steps.
