Evaluation of Economic Efficiency of Investment Project

The bachelor thesis deals with the intention of building a business building with a shop and confectionery establishment. The work focuses on the individual parts of the business plan, defining business goals, including steps to achieve it. The thesis also focuses on financial planning, investment in construction of the house and planning of financial flows entrepreneurs. The work also calculate the basic economic indicators that make it possible to objectively evaluate investment and enhance its profitability. Finally there will be provide the sensitivity analysis, which will be given individual external and internal risks. Their influence will be numerically expressed by the percentage change in net present value and internal rate of return.
Economic Efficiency and Finacial Feasibility of the Business Plan

The thesis deals with an investment project of reconstruction and operation of bakery Anežka in Palačov. The objective of the project is to evaluate the economic efficiency of the business plan. The thesis focuses on all costs and revenues which flow from the project throughout its working life, and on cash flow in individual years. At the end of the thesis, sensitivity analysis and risk assessment have been assessed, and several variations of the course of the projects, which can occur with regard to the likelihood of risk, have been created. The effects of these risks are compared by using the index indicators of profitability and net present value in the last chapter.
Assessment of Information System Effectiveness in a Family Business and Proposal of Changes

The diploma thesis is focused on assessment of a selected company’s information system, whose field of business is sale of gardening supplies. The thesis comprises theoretical knowledge about information systems and management of their effectiveness and security. It further provides description of the researched information system along with its insufficiencies. Based on the assessed analytical methods and a conducted survey the thesis provides suggestion to the system which aim at improvement of the current conditions and decrease of the detected risks. The implementation of the provided suggestions is evaluated from an economic perspective.

The master´s thesis deals with the business plan to the industrial area, which serves as a business center for the provision of services in the form of rents. The work focuses on the individual parts of the business plan, focusing mainly on the planning of individual financial flows that will be in conjunction with the operation of the complex formed. The thesis also includes the calculation of basic economic indicators through which investment can be objectively assess and evaluate it is advantages. At the conclusion of the sensitivity analysis, where the individual will be listed risks that may arise in the future. Their influence will be expressed numerically percentage change in the net present value and internal rate of return.
Optimization process decisions on the selection of public project in building industry

The aim of this dissertation is to find a suitable methodological procedure of evaluation of public investment project. In the methodological part the defining the procedure for economic evaluation of specific projects in the field of leisure infrastructure is formulated. The emphasis here is primarily on the assessment of non-financial benefits and costs. This procedure is subsequently verified on selected case study.

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of financial indicators using time series, regression analysis and interval regression analysis of a selected company. The diploma thesis describes selected financial indicators, time series, regression analysis and interval regression analysis. Furthermore, the calculations of financial indicators for the selected company and the characteristics of the time series are performed. Individual financial indicators are subjected to regression analysis and interval regression analysis. Based on the performed analyzes, the company's risk factors are determined and recommendations for the improvement of the current situation in the company are proposed.

Quantified approach to risk analysis in case of cyber security

This bachelor thesis deals with the quantitative approach to risk analysis in the frame-work of cyber security. The first part is devoted to the theoretical level. There are defined basic terms connected with cyber security and cyberspace. The risk management process according to ISO / IEC 27005 and NIST methodology is described. Furthermore, a comparison of individual risk analysis methods is performed. Finally, examples of quantitative methods are presented and the CIA triad is presented. The second part of this thesis is dedicated to the QRA method. This method is applied to two devices and probability, impact and risk are calculated. Finally, the evaluation and comparison of both devices is performed. The benefit of this bachelor thesis is a compiled methodology, which is applicable not only for the determination of the risk itself, but it is also possible to compare individual systems, equipment or solutions among them.
Risk analysis of water distribution system – the case of small municipality

The general aim of Master’s thesis was to analyze a water supply network in the village Klobouky u Brna using the WaterRisk software through the simple and complex methodology. It was performed a measurement of turbidity on water supply network as practical support of undesirable states. Also it was accomplished detailed exploration of the village Klobouky u Brna. Added value of Master’s thesis was a consultation related to a water supply and a water treatment system with technician working for the Vodovody a kanalizace Hodonín company wherefrom water is bought for the village Klobouky u Brna.
