Lock
Čech, David ; Motal, Tomáš (referee) ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis combines an artist's comic book and a gamebook. Following the example of classic gamebooks, the narrative is divided into numbered segments between which the player chooses. Thematically, the work focuses on architecture, especially on the interiors and their interconnection with the selected objects. In this case, the individual segments correspond to the specific physical spaces of the illustrated building. The work contains a minimum of text and the main part of the information is communicated through the image. The output of the bachelor's thesis is a paper version of the artist's interactive content. The main part of the content is a series of consecutive illustrations. Using the numeric navigation, the player can move between pages and thus compose a picture of the situation that the story part of the work presents. The aim of the work is the creation of an artist's interactive comic book, that is not based on the text, but lets the player interact directly with the visual environment.
Application of group theory in solving puzzles
Pavlík, Tomáš ; Opršal, Jakub (advisor) ; Tůma, Jiří (referee)
This thesis studies the theory of combinatorical puzzles and its connection to the group theory. The aim of this work is to introduce the concept of puzzle to mathematics and to use group theory to solve it, special attention will be focused on solvable groups. Everything is interspersed with a number of practical examples to better understand the topic.

Android Application for Children with Easy Content Expansion
Turcovský, Jakub ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with draft and implementation of the project, thanks to which parents can themselves create content of applications for their children. These applications are mostly games which support mental development of preschool children and teach them how to work with touch devices. This project, called Tamaty (note: the name is made from Czech words for Dad, Mom and You), consists of a web framework that allows parents to upload media files at server, create a package, then download the package to Android applications which will make a children game from it. For the purposes of this thesis I've implemented variations on the well-known games pexeso and puzzle.
Futoshiki Puzzle
Benedikti, Tomáš ; Horáček, Petr (referee) ; Zámečníková, Eva (advisor)
This thesis deals with the topic of logical games and puzzles. The main focus is on the Futoshiki puzzle, its history and rules. The algorithms created for the application are covered in depth, from the design to the implementation. The last part contains the creation of the user interface and testing the success of the application.
Kakuro Puzzle
Hodáň, Ján ; Šuška, Boris (referee) ; Zámečníková, Eva (advisor)
This thesis deals with history of logic and logic games. In details deals with rules and options of solving logic game Kakuro. It analyze the problem of implementation of this game to the computer algorithm. In the last chapter is explained how is logic game implemented and tested.
Program for Generation of the Image Crosswords
Navrátil, Ondřej ; Pospíchal, Petr (referee) ; Kaštil, Jan (advisor)
Main topic of this thesis is the picross, a puzzle similar to well-known sudoku or criss cross. Central questions discussed in the text are automatic and semi-automatic generation of the rebus from digital images and solving and solvability of the puzzle. Characteristics and procedures described are demonstrated in the aplication picross, which was implemented as a part of this bachelor's thesis.
Educational Game of Motivation on the Android Platform
Kučera, Martin ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
The aim of the dissertation is to create a prototype of an educational game which should help students with the choice of future their studies. To this end, the game introduces the topic of logic systems in a non-threating interactive way with clear illustrative examples. The theoretical part of the work deals with the background knowledge necessary in order to design the game. It explains logic systems, gates, flip-flop circuits, and explores various aspects of game genres with primary focus on puzzle games and their history. In addition, the dissertation presents some of the issues related to cross-platform development of games for both mobile and computer platforms, and provides brief descriptions of several popular cross-platform libraries. Lastly, the work introduces and compares several chosen applications created as a supplementary material for teaching logic system.
Coupling of images
Gorgol, Martin ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This master’s thesis describes the design and implementation of the application that created the basis set pieces "puzzle" according to the shape of the folded edges of the original image. This application is developed using Matlab. The work also describes how to create a database of actual pieces of the puzzle composite photo image. Closer was also focused on finding the characteristic section points, their segmentation and appropriate description. There is dismantled procedure for selecting the types of symptoms and their extraction. On the basis of suitably described pieces of segmented parts is designed and implemented the algorithm of comparing and grouping into clusters. Using the proposed method of visualization is then displayed in the resulting composite picture puzzle.
