Information System/Intranet for Small Municipality

The goal of the bachelor thesis is an implementation of the information system for a small municipality in the internet environment. I have designed the simple information system for small municipality with the theoretical knowledge and practical experience. The system should be able to provide an environment that offers a simple communication interface to ordinary users and allows the authorized persons to change the content of www site without a necessity of HTML language skills. Contemporary technologies, especially scripting language PHP, markup language XHTML and database system MySQL, were used for design of the system.

Draft of Optimization of Web Application for B2B

The purpose of this thesis is to design optimization of a webpage application designated for the B2B sector, which should improve a user experience in a significant way. A user experience issue was solved by analytical activities oriented on the webpage of www.webstopar.cz. The results of the analysis were supplemented by a qualitative research. The result of the bachelor thesis is a design of optimization of particular aspects of a user experience. The design implementation should improve the webpage quality from the point of view of a user experience and also bring the benefit of 10% increase in users of the service offered on the webpage. Moreover, the final design of this work is generally applicable for a large variety of Czech and foreign webpages.

Vyhodnocení prvků zelené infrastruktury na území města České Budějovice

This thesis evaluated elements of Green infrastructure for České Budějovice. Thesis involved mapping and categorization of GI elements. Several indexes were calculated: accessibility, connectivity/isolation, average representation of green areas around residential houses and walking distances to a nearest accessible feature of GI of area at least 1 ha.

Cestovní ruch osob s tělesným postižením v Jihomoravském kraji

The subject of the submitted bachelor´s thesis is Tourism of physically handicapped people in the South Moravian Region. The thesis deals with issues, obstacles and needs of physically handicapped people in the tourism field. In the theoretical part of the thesis terms such as tourism, factors that influence tourism, the market of tourism and last but not least person with physical handicap and everything connected with it are explained. The goal of the thesis is to analyse the current situation of travelling in the South Moravian Region focusing on three districts-Brno and its surroundings, the Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape and the Znojmo and Podyjí region. Based on questionnaire research the research part has been elaborated and possible solutions have been suggested.

National health insurance scheme with emphasis on Ghana

The goal of this thesis is to examine the role of the NHIS in providing basic healthcare and its accessibility especially in rural Ghana. The NHIS was first introduced in 2003 to eliminate the cash for services system of health provided services. The implementation of the scheme increased access and use of basic healthcare services. Most healthcare institutions are poised with challenges in management, delivery and utilization of healthcare services. This study aims to access the effect of the NHIS on healthcare delivery in Ghana.
