Module of Digital Outputs with Modbus Communication
Vaško, Pavel ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
Goal of mine bachelor’s thesis is create functional module of digital outputs, which can be seen in typical industry using. This module must contain communication interface on protocol Modbus and standard communication bus RS-232, RS-485. The module must be equipped with microcontroller series x51. Size of equipment must be minimalized into the smallest proportion. One part of the thesis is focused on theoretic information about Modbus protocol. Next parts contain charakteristics of communication and software facility.
Universal control unit for life test of motors
Ševčík, Šimon ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Musil, Vladislav (advisor)
This thesis describes theway of BPM motors control and its use in life testing. Firstly it describes the properties of motors and their differences. Secondly it describes possibilities of motor control and their need for life testing. Finally it describes proposal of the universal control unit, types of controling, programming part and technical documentations.
Digitalizace diagnostických dat z frekvenčních měničů s využitím technologie B&R Aprol Edge Controller
Mičulka, Tomáš ; Poliščuk, Radek (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
Master thesis deals with the collection of diagnostic data from frequency converters using the B&R EdgeController. Thesis deals with communication between the inverter and the device, as well as data storage for later analysis and visualization. A demonstration version of the project is created in the project implementation. In this demo, communication with the inverter is created, using the Powerlink protocol, as well as logic for historization and, last but not least, visualization in the form of process graphics and web reports.
Integration of auxiliary modules into automated functional test system
Hřebíček, Zdeněk ; Macháček, Jiří (referee) ; Svoboda, Radomír (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis was gain of theoretical background in the field of embedded device testing especially when using test modules, to understand the structure of Modbus and Enviracom protocols, architecture of system for automated testing ATAB and use that knowledge for programing drivers for test modules NTC Simulator and EnviraCOM Serial Adapter in C# language.
Meteorology Information System
Vašíček, Jan ; Strnadel, Josef (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis is described design and realization of meteorology information system. It provides current weather conditions, weather history and it also offers flood early warning function. This work describes selection of technical equipment and its interconnection. It contains description of monitored meteorological quantities and methods which are suitable for measurement. It describes implementation of  program for data collection and data processing and information system which is used as user interface of weather station.
Transfer the IEC 61850 standard for communication protocol ModBus
Šikula, Jiří ; ABB, Oleksiy Melnyk, (referee) ; Polsterová, Helena (advisor)
This work describes the modbus communication protocol used in earlier and recent medium voltage switchgears. It also describes the IEC61850, a communication standard for most of the switchgear manufacturers as ABB, Siemens and others. It further describes the station automation gateway COM600, which is capable of conversion between many communication protocols. And finaly in this work you can find the concept of a device which is capable of conversion from IEC61850 to Modbus.
Simulator and client for MODBUS devices
Ondrášek, Michael ; Franek, Lešek (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with communication protocol MODBUS. The properties of the protocol and its function are described at the beginning of a thesis. There are designed two applications on the basis of identified properties in the other part of thesis, they represent the server part and the client´s part. The server part is implemented by selected functions of protocol and it represents devices for data collection. The next part is the detailed design of applications and the description of their realization. The last part deals with testing of designed applications with available SW simulators. The thesis deals also with user manual for control of created applications.
Datalogger
Štupák, Branislav ; Bejček, Ludvík (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the datalogger development for monitoring roof constructions ambients of historical buildings. The device is made of microcontroller ATmega328P and is using simple principles of environment monitoring. The device saves measured data to SD card from air temperature, air humidity, light intensity, wood moisture and air flow sensors. In conclusion of the thesis are then succesfully tested and summarized the properties of designed datalogger’s sensors.
Gathering information about industrial equipment using a search engine
Danko, Krištof ; Fujdiak, Radek (referee) ; Pospíšil, Ondřej (advisor)
The work is focused on operating technologies, specificaly on the security of PLC (programmable logic controller), and obtaining information using device search engines. The types and parts of industrial networks, which are the main segment of operational technologies, and the search engines such as Shodan, Censy, BinaryEdge, and Zoomeye are described. These search engines are compared based on available information and industry protocols Siemens S7, Modbus, Ethernet / IP, and DNP3. In addition to comparing search engines, this work aims to create an application that can download results from the Shodan search engine via the Shodan API and store them in a database. Another point of work is the connection of own PLC, to determine the time of PLC appearing in search engines.
An Application with HAWK Controller
Klíma, Jaroslav ; Štohl, Radek (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
The target of this bachelor’s thesis is to execute a connection between the HAWK controller by the Centraline/Honeywell company and crane models through the MODBUS/TCP communication protocol, including a demonstration of its functionality and creating a visualisation. Programmable machines SIEMENS S7-1200 were used to control the models. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to describing the HAWK controller and its communication options in its basic configuration. The second part is dedicated to the most utilized functions and terminology of the COACHAX development environment thanks to which the MODBUS communication is executed and a demonstration application is created. The practical part first offers a basic exercise to demonstrate the communication of a programmable machine and the HAWK controller through MODBUS/TCP and then an application which creates a shell system surface, unlike the programmable machines, and offers advanced options of controlling the model and formation of basic functional statistics.
