Least-squares fitting of multivariate data
Hrabec, Pavel ; Bednář, Josef (referee) ; Tomášek, Petr (advisor)
Thesis sumarizes basic theory required for inference of aproximation using the least squares method and aplicates this method on data obtained from engineering practice. Within thesis were created programs, in MATLAB enviroment, to solve this problem. MATLAB already contains several algorithms, wich are useful for solving this problem. Thesis includes comparsion of properties and test of those algorithms.
Image analysis for correction of electron microscopes
Smital, Petr ; Schwarz, Daniel (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
This thesis describes the physical nature of corrections of an electron microscope and mathematical methods of image processing required for their complete automation. The corrections include different types of focusing, astigmatism correction, electron beam centring, and image stabilisation. The mathematical methods described in this thesis include various methods of measuring focus and astigmatism, with and without using the Fourier transform, edge detection, histogram operations, and image registration, i.e. detection of spatial transformations in images. This thesis includes detailed descriptions of the mathematical methods, their evaluation using an “offline” application, descriptions of the algorithms of their implementation into an actual electron microscope and results of their testing on the actual electron microscope, in the form of a video footage grabbed from its control computer’s screen.
Adaptive controllers for systems with time delay and its comparison with classical controllers.
Faltus, Ivo ; Burlak, Vladimír (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
Master thesis is focused on the philosophy of design adaptive controller. In the theoretic part are described parts of the adaptive controller, which belongs parts as online identification by recursive least-squares method and PSD controller, which can set its parameters according to identified system (use Z-N method). The part of control system with transport delay is situated at the conclusion of the theoretic part, there are focused on Smith predictor. Practical part is focused on verification of all algorithms, which was performed on models and real systems.
Measurements results assessment and emission limits
Čech, Martin ; Jedlička, Filip (referee) ; Dvořák, Radek (advisor)
Main content of this task is summary and explanation of main methods, which can be used to evaluation the results from measuring of pollutants in combustion gases. The way which should be most acceptable for our datas will be consequently used in a simply example. There will be mentioned the importace of chosing the entering datas and their dependence on outer conditions. Another chapter will be devoted to emission standarts of main pollutants in Czech republic and in chosen world countries too. There will be mentioned the historical developement of these standarts and hypothesis to the future about this question too.
Conversion of Raster-Curve into Vector Representation
Král, Jiří ; Sumec, Stanislav (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
In my process of tracing I deal with converting an input grayscale image into a vector one trying to keep as big similarity with the input image as possible. Tracing is carried out with the help of curve approximation even if the approximation is possible only with line elements, that is to say the curve in raster. Therefore it is necessary to extract the line elements from the input image. We can do it in two different ways according to two different objects in the image. The first group is represented by thin, ablong objects which are substituted by their skeleton. The second group is represented by large objects which are susbstituted by their contour. The found lines are then divided into such parts which can be easily curve approximated. Resulting curves are then only depicted into the output by suitable raster method.
Market price modelling by real estates with multiple linear regression
Studený, Marek ; Ulverová, Michaela (referee) ; Cupal, Martin (advisor)
The main subject of the diploma thesis is a market price modeling by real estates. As a tool for modeling, is used a multiple linear regression. As starting points, are used an econometrical theory and knowledge about real estate valuation. The main goal is to find optimal model for best capture in the time and place.
Calibration of hydraulic model of water supply network
Náplavová, Eva ; Tureček,, Jan (referee) ; Ručka, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with calibration of hydraulic simulation models, especially with methods used for calibration and parameters that are modified during calibration. The literature review in the field of mathematical modeling, basic principles applied in hydraulic modeling and the current approach to calibration and data collection is done in theoretical part. In the practical part of the thesis, a hydraulic model of the group water supply system Horní Dunajovice is built and subsequently calibrated. The calibration is first performed manually for the normal operational status and then using a calibration software created for this purpose for a load case with high velocity.
Adaptive controllers with principles of artificial intelligence
Pitra, Michal ; Malounek, Petr (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on an adaptive control, especially in a self-tuning controller area. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part deals with identification methods of the adaptive control. The recursive least squares algorithm and the neural network method are the most popular identification methods. These methods are contrasted and the identification quality evaluation is done. The second part compares various types of the adaptive controllers with a non-adjustable PSD controller. The adaptive controllers are investigated from the various identification method point of view. The user graphic interface was realized for the identification and regulatory part. The time behavior of system responses after incoming disturbance and dynamic process changes during simulation systems control is compared with a physical model connected to B&R PLC. The comparison is done with the application of Matlab/Simulink program.
Adaptive Control of a DC Drive
Krkoška, Roman ; Huták, Petr (referee) ; Skalický, Jiří (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with method of adaptive control of electrical drives. It aims at control of DC motor with using self tunning controller (STC) and gain-schedulink in simulative enviroment of MATLAB. The first part of the thesis deals with of basic methods adaptive control of electrical drives and with of basic identification methods, computation of controller parameters and control laws of controllers. The second part of the thesis is aimed at applying adaptive controllers to mathematical model of controlled system. Include monitoring parameters of identification The thesis contains originate programs include source files.
