Spa services for selected customer segment

The topic of this work is Spa services for a certain segment of customers. The main goal is to evaluate the offer of these services and customer satisfaction with the following services. This work shows the historical development of spas and wellness, but it also describes the current spas and wellness and the new trends associated with them. The work is designed to reflect a significant historical difference between them. Next it also analyzes the Czech spa market and services. It also deals with the impact of the current pandemic caused by the viral disease COVID-19, which significantly affects spa and health tourism. It describes the forms of state aid that aim to keep the spa running even during limited operation. The method is based on a questionnaire survey, where the surveyed sample of respondents is divided according to various idicators, such as age, economic status, purpose of the spa visiting etc. According to the results, proposals are compiled for the new products in the field of spa and wellness, but also for the improvement of existing services.
Offer of sport services in health resorts of Czech Republic

OFFER OF SPORT SERVICES IN HEALTH RESORTS OF CZECH REPUBLIC This work is describing spas and spa services in the Czech Republic. It is describing emergence of spa industry in our country as same as in the rest of the world. It is explaining the process of spa healthcare, which services are, and which are not included in donated care in the Czech Republic. It is mainly focusing on sports services and the offer of sports in spa resorts Poděbrady and Mariánské Lázně. Using SWOT Analysis, it is trying to find strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in relation to these resorts. This work is trying to find importance of sport and the proportion of sport services in compare to all spa services. It is also trying to point on possibilities of development of sport services in spa resorts Poděbrady and Mariánské Lázně. Finally it is recommending that the offer of sport activities in spa resorts Poděbrady and Mariánské Lázně should expand to reach higher level of quality of Czech spa industry at all. The diploma thesis deals with evaluation of the visitors loyalty to the spa destinations of Slovak Republic. The aim of the thesis is to identify key quality factors influencing the visitors loyalty to Slovak spa destinations and to clarify differences between clients and providers in their perception of the quality of services. Attention is also paid to clarifying the differences between specific segments of visitors in the terms of their satisfaction and loyalty. On the basis of the results obtained, there are subsequently formulated recommendations relevant to the current state of Slovak spa in order to increase the visitors satisfaction and loyalty to Slovak spa destinations.
Ekonomické přínosy lázeňského cestovního ruchu pro město Janské Lázně

This bachelor thesis is focused on economic benefits of spa tourism for the town of Janské Lázně. Review of literature describes tourism and related terms, spa and its benefits, basic economic indicators and marketing in spa tourism. In the practical part there is an assessment of the tourism potential in Janské Lázně, analysis of economic benefits through local fees, employment and economic results of the State Health Spa, Janské Lázně, a questionnaire survey focused on the quality of spa services and SWOT analysis. Conclusion contains recommendations for increasing the economic benefits for the town of Janské Lázně.
Hodnocení faktorů kvality služeb v lázeňské destinaci Luhačovice

The bachelor thesis is focused on quality of services in spa destination Luhačovice. The aim of this thesis is to identify the factors of the service quality and find out the significance of individual quality of service factors for the visitor in the spa Luhačovice. Based on the evaluated results obtained by the questionnaire survey, a recommendation for the service provider of this destination is being suggested.
The study of the reconstruction of the pool water treatment plant of the summer swimming pool Břeclav

The subject of the diploma thesis is to introduce the problems of communal spas, namely the treatment of water for swimming pools. Following is a proposal of reconstruction of the treatment plant for a real, operated area of the summer swimming pool. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. At the beginning of the theoretical part I make research of the history of balneology, the effects of bathing and swimming on the human body, possible resources for spa purposes and hygiene requirements for these waters. I also describe commonly used methods of treatment of swimming pool water. In the practical part I first describe the summer swimming pool in the town of Břeclav. There is a description of the swimming pool, its history and equipment. In the next chapter I present the currently operated technological line. Based on a personal visit, the next chapter evaluates the technical condition of the plant. Based on this evaluation, a new technological line for treatment of swimming pool water of the Břeclav summer swimming pool is proposed.
The Impact of the Presence of Spa Resorts on the Cultural Life within the Community - Case Study of Township Lázně Toušeň

The topic of this diploma thesis is a cultural life in small spa towns, specifically presented on a case study of town Lázně Toušeň. In the theoretical part of the thesis the topic is incorporated into urban sociology and the thesis focuses on questions such as what is the difference between a city and a village, are there any transitional areas and what kind of urbanization processes can occur in the countryside. In the second chapter of the theoretical part the main focus of the thesis lies with spas, their history and cultural specifics. In the empirical part, the case study itself, the thesis looks into the town of Lázně Toušeň and its spa, specifically on the cultural life in the town between the years 1968 - 1989. The study focuses on topics such as what is the difference between cultural and community life in the town during normalization period and present day and how are they influenced by the specifics of Toušeň. The study also covers the topics of daily life in the spa, the organizational and financial side of the cultural events or the role of the "cultural officers". Title: Spa Jeseníkas an opportunity for exercise activities for all generations Objectives: The objective of the study analyzes physical activities for all age category in the Spa Jeseník, identify visitors' goals andpoint to the potential of Jeseník Spa and the surrounding countryside Methods: There were used the methods of - evaluation of recreational tourism potential, questionnaire designed for visitors of the Jeseník Spa and SWOT analysis. Results: Evaluating the tourism potential in Spa Jeseník, ranks Jeseník area among the top localizations with high tourism potential, making the area an appropriate place for recreation. The survey showed that the spa is generally visited by older generations, and thus we can assume, that Spa Jeseník's main purpose is to treat its visitors' health issues. Younger generation, form only a small portion of visitors, which led to the creation of weekly programs, that could lead to an increase in traffic from younger generations. The spas and sanatoria in Silesia (Czech part) from the 2nd half of the 19th century until the end of the 1930s Abstract The work is focused on the development and historical development of spas, spa resorts and sanatoria in Silesia in its Czech part, which used natural healing resources, favourable climatic conditions, baths, balneal treatment and resting mode. The object of interest is Gräfenberg Spa, later Gräfenberg-Frývaldov (today's Spa Jeseník), spa in Dolní Lipová, Sanatorium in Zlaté Hory, Spa Karlova Studánka, Jánské koupele (Mel ské koupele near Opava), spa in Darkov, small spa in Komorní Lhotka and pulmonary sanatorium in Jablunkov, which was right from the beginning a sanatorium for the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis. During the treatment, a considerable attention was paid to the use of the resting mode and of the favourable climatic environment. On this territory, we can see different conditions of the creation of individual spas and sanatoria. Namely, on the basis of the effects of natural resources, the Spa of Karlova Studánka, Jánské koupele and Darkov Spa was built, which used natural mineral waters. The sanatorium in Zlaté Hory, a spa resort in Komorní Lhotka and the pulmonary sanatorium in Jablunkov were established thanks to the effects of a favourable climate. The origin of the...
