IT Governance Quality Metrics

This thesis deals with metrics of IT management. The main goal of the thesis is to design a web application for assessing the quality of IT service management. The resulting application will determine the aforementioned quality based on the specified criteria and values. In the first part of the thesis, there are elaborated current methodologies, which are focused on quality assessment of IT administration and management. These methodologies also include metrics to assess this quality. In the third chapter, the quality assessment process is processed using the IT Quality Index. The fourth and fifth chapter describes the design and implementation of the web application itself. Validation of application results is processed in the fifth chapter. The created application is deployed on the server and used to assess IT quality. In the last chapter of this work is described practical use of work results and possible extensions of the web application.

It focuses primarily on the organization focused on electronic commerce.
ITIL and COBIT Implementation in ARIS Toolset

This master's thesis explores the topic of guidance for the COBIT framework and ITIL library in the context of business process management. It encompasses various process modelling languages and diagrams for companies active in information and communication technologies. Through the selected ARIS tool set and the mapping of all 64 processes, the establishment of individual processes can now be achieved, which is explained by modelling a total of 101 diagrams. The thesis also contains an example of process deployment for a selected company, which is accompanied by an implementation of a dashboard application that monitors the ticket flow of service operation processes.
Information Strategy

This diploma thesis is focused on the possibility of using modern approaches to information technology management. Specifically, it concentrates on demands for innovation of software development lifecycle management. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on methods used in information strategy. Based on results of the analytical part, where I evaluate current approach to information technologies service management, I suggest solutions in the form of customer oriented information strategy and approach to the management of software development as a part of service lifecycle.
Database System for Laboratory Equipment Tracking

Cieľom tejto práce je doručenie služby v podobe databázového systému pre sledovanie laboratórnych zariadení pre Porsche Engineering Services, s.r.o. Uvedená služba bola doručená nasledovaním usmernení frameworku manažmentu služieb so zameraním na aspekty softvérového inžinierstva. Finálnym produktom je informačný systém implementovaný v Djangu s mobilnou aplikáciou implementovanou v Swifte a využíva databázu MariaDB. Tento systém vytvára lepšiu správu zariadení laboratória a ponúka mnoho možností pre rozšírenie. Celá služba prispieva k úsporám času a nákladov spoločnosti.
Evaluation of the ticketing tool and enhancement proposals

Aim of this thesis is to evaluate a current state of the company ticketing tool. The evaluation is going to be performed using analytical methods. Enhancement proposals for process tuning and an effectivity increase of operational IT teams are going to be elaborated based on results of analyses in relation to the strategical company targets and ITIL best practices.
Methodology and Software Support for Risk Management in Projects

This master's thesis deals with the area of risk management in project management. The aim is to create a complex risk management methodology and a functional prototype of the system that complements and supports it. The methodology is based on the fundamental principles of these areas and the analysis of currently used project and risk management approaches in practice. Selected were PRINCE2, Agile Approach and ITIL. The advantages of the methodology are its complexity, no bound to any standard but based on methodology's positive  features. Based on the methodology, a web application for management and visualization of projects and risks has been developed and supports work with it.
ITIL Simulator

This master's thesis presents analysis, design and implementation of an information system for supporting studying and practicing of selected methods described by Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) with focus on service design and service operation. In the form of a web application the thesis presents an uncommon approach to e-learning system development by extending the standard lecture part by game elements and interactive scenarios. Developed system allows creators to define services and tasks, such as incidents and problems caused by their operation, and evaluate reactions of responsible users. The application can be used by IT administrators or Service Desk managers to train new IT engineers or Service Desk operators.
Technical Assistance of Incident Management Support

The topic of this Master Thesis is Incident Management process as well as other processes which are inseparably linked to it, such as Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, etc. Main focus of this work is taken to the mentioned processes implementation in the real environment of the real company. Those processes are to be supported by selected information system whereas the selection itself is also part of the project. The processess are compared and optimized with use of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
Design of algorithm for information system module

Master´s thesis is considered with design of algorithms for new module of company information system. In the beginning of thesis there are characterized types of ways to describe an information systems. For specification of described system is briefly defined IBM Lotus Notes environment. Next chapter is about object-oriented analysis and design of a module of information system by using UML´s diagrams in modeling tool Enterprise Architect. In the third chapter is made analysis and design of module´s connection with current system, specificly update data in form. Thesis shows designed algorithms in environment of Lotus Domino Designer by using LotusScript and SQL languages and Lotus Domino Connector for access into the database by using ODBC. In last part of thesis is proposed to use a mapping tool to mapp the ITC infrastructure by using Change management process according to ITIL method, to manage all the changes in developing system effectively.
