Contactless measurement of surface temperatures in mechanical engineering.
Merenda, Petr ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The topic worked out in this bachelor work focuses on implementation of the contactless measurement of surface temperatures among other ways of measuring temperature. It also focuses on analysis of temperature field changes during cutting operations in experimental measurement.
Selection of suitable ATO training routes (PPL, CPL, IR)
Křipský, Filip ; Chlebek, Jiří (referee) ; Hammer, Jaromír (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor’s thesis is to compile an overview of specific training routes applicable in practise, starting from Brno-Turany Airport (airport’s ICAO code: LKTB), in the various phases of pilot training (PPL(A), CPL(A), IR(A)). This thesis is primarily intended for Approved Training Organizations (ATO) and Declared Training Organizations (DTO) at LKTB and their students. It should facilitate many decisions in selecting suitable training routes, guarantee the correct selection of routes and also save time. The content of this bachelor’s thesis are also general rules for the selection of routes in the various stages of training, which can be used in the selection of routes departing from other airports. The selected training routes are planned both in the Czech Republic and abroad.
Generating of Testing Models from Source Code
Kraut, Daniel ; Malík, Viktor (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of the masters thesis is to design and implement a tool for automatic generation of paths in source code. Firstly was acquired a study of model based testing and possible design for the desired automatic generator based on coverage criteria defined on CFG model. The main point of the master theis is the tool design and description of its implementation. The tool supports many coverage criteria, which allows the user of such tool to focus on specific artefact of the system under test. Moreover, this tool is tuned to allow aditional requirements on the size of generated test suite, reflecting real world practical usage. The generator was implemented in C++ language and web interface for it in Python language, which at the same time is used to integrated the tool into Testos platform.
Contactless measurement of surface temperatures during turning
Merenda, Jiří ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is the incorporation of the contactless measurement of surface temperature among other methods of temperature measurement. Technical preparation for experimental measuring on the machine-tool. Comparison of influence of cutting conditions on the development of surface temperature of workpiece during the machining process with usage of the camera ThermaCAM CS2000. The economical analysis of the contactless measurement of surface temperature is determined in the last part of this thesis.
Increasing the Yield of BGA Repair Process
Janíček, Martin ; Vala, Radek (referee) ; Řihák, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with possibilities of increasing the yield of BGA repair process. First there is mentioned basic problematics and its notions, problems and possibilities. Next it deals with technological aspects of repairing of devices in BGA covers. Also there is mentioned basic problematics of evaluating of yield. There is stated current state of solving the problem and also there is suggested new design of application which would be more optimal for evaluation of the yield of process. This thesis contains results of practical testing of methods of application of flux affecting final quality of solder joints as well as kind of flux which was used. At the end
Deictic meanings of verbs in Spanish Language compared to Czech.
SALZEROVÁ, Martina
The presented diploma thesis deals with the issue of deixe, specifically the meanings of deictic verbs in Spanish in comparison with Czech. Based on the knowledge of deictic verbs, obtained from available works dealing with the issue, the work presents several variable exercises that can be an inspiration for teaching Spanish to both current and future teachers. Furthermore, the thesis analyzes the results of practical exercises focused on deictic verbs, which were developed by students of Spanish of various language levels. From these results, we are able to detect specific problems that students have with the use of deictic verbs. The works of all participating students form a student corpus. Selected works of this corpus were annotated in Analec. The Analec seems to be an ideal program for annotating a larger number of texts. The aim of the thesis is to emphasize the need to include deictic verbs in the teaching of Spanish. Students should not only master the use of these verbs, but should be aware of their meanings in Spanish in comparison with Czech when using them in everyday communication. The work can make it easier for Spanish teachers to teach the verbs ir, venir, traer and llevar by using the activity models suggested in the work.
Prediction and analysis of traffic crossings using machine learning
Hlaváček, Jakub ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Götthans, Jakub (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the area of traffic control, specifically traffic control of intersections, especially control technologies based on the obtained traffic data. The main goal of the work is the design and subsequent implementation of a real intersection Anenská and Capt. Jaroše, Pardubice in the form of a model. The work also deals with the demonstration of the used signal programs of junction control through the created model. The model is assembled from a wooden base and smaller parts are made by 3-D printing. The unit is controlled by an Arduino microcomputer. In creating this thesis, I managed to understand the comprehensive traffic management in today’s cities, which requires the current traffic situation.
Isolationism in IR
Mgeladze, Shota ; Kofroň, Jan (advisor) ; Mičko, Branislav (referee)
This thesis focuses on analyzing the phenomenon of isolationism by testing the IR theories. The research examines the four historical cases of Ming and Qing Imperial China, Tokugawa's Japan, Great Britain under the Gladstone and Disraeli's stewardship, and finally, the U.S. behavior throughout the 1930s. The study distinguishes between the whole and limited isolationism, arguing that it is impossible to pursue complete isolationism due to globalization, interdependence, domestic constraints, and other factors. Furthermore, by explaining the phenomenon, neoclassical realism appears to best grasp the full image. Finally, by comparing the cases of American state behavior in the 1930s and under Donald Trump's presidency, the paper argues that the latter's policy should not be considered isolationist.
Vibrational spectroscopy of pharmacologically important molecules: Study of L-DOPA and its deuterated derivatives
Spasovová, Monika ; Profant, Václav (advisor) ; Kaminský, Jakub (referee)
L-3,4-dihyroxyphenylalanine (L-DOPA, levodopa) is a gold standard treatment of Parkinson's disease. Lately, it has been found that some of its deuterated analogues exhibit higher potency in the treatment; thus, they could replace L-DOPA. The subject of this thesis was a study of L-DOPA and its deuterated derivatives by the means of vibrational spectroscopy (Raman, ROA, IR, and VCD) and a comparison of the experimental results to a quantum mechanical simulations of the spectra. ROA and VCD are chiroptical methods, thus they are suitable for measurement of chiral molecules amongst which L-DOPA indeed belongs. Thanks to the quantum chemistry calculations, which yielded spectra with a very good agreement with the experiment, we were able to assign experimental spectral features to individual vibrational modes of the L-DOPA. The use of chiroptical techniques (mainly ROA) enabled an assignment of an absolute configuration of double deuterated derivative of L-DOPA, α,β-D2-L-DOPA. It reviled that it occurs in a (S-α,S-β)-enantiomeric form.
