The diploma thesis is focused on analysis of approaches to the gender management within chosen company. The theoretical part provides complex literature overview on issues such as gender management, gender equality as well as current approaches in gender management. Furthermore, the research results are focused on the company as well as on society. Recommendations for the company are mostly focused on improving current state of women employed on part time contract via mandatory paternal leave, maintain the relationship with women on maternal leave by newsletters or company magazine and referral programme on technical positions. In order to improve position of women within society, is important to change and support belief in one-self, improve possibilities of external service for housing, eliminate gender stereotypes and improve awareness of women's needs within her career.
Gender diversity management in international companies in Brno

Bachelor's thesis is devoted to the management of gender diversity in international companies. The aim of the thesis is to review the theory and analysis of the practice of managing gender diversity in companies and formulate proposals for improving the management of diversity in them. This work is aimed at ensuring gender diversity. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the meaning of the word "diversity", the explanation of the term" gender diversity management” and the types of gender management. The theoretical part also describes the positive aspects of gender diversity management. The basis of the practical part is a questionnaire of employees of international companies in Brno and suggestions for improving this type of management.

The bachelor thesis is devoted to contemporary problems connected with the position of women in management positions and gender inequalities between men and women. Its aim is to clarify the current situation of women in the labour market through their qualitative research and professional statistics, their attitudes, views and experience with mobility in career development, as well as the impact of managerial careers on family life. In the theoretical part is generally characterized management, manager, related skills, woman as a manager, barriers related to her enforcement in management, the influence of the family and the situation on the labour market in the Czech Republic. The analytical part of the bachelor thesis contains statistical data and my own quality research, data processing and summary of research results and recommendations for practice. The method used to collect data is a semi-structured interview.

This diploma thesis examines the application of gender management in a selected tech-nically oriented company. A literature review gives an overview of the issue of diversity, gender management especially in a technical field and managerial positions, as well as it deals with work-life balance. In a practical part of the thesis an analysis of the company and staff is accomplished. Furthermore, another part is consisted of questionnaire survey among recruiters, interview with the HR Manager and interviews with selected managers. The aim of the thesis is to propose appropriate suggestions that could be used for dealing with gender issues in the company.

This diploma thesis is focused on the application of gender management in Bosch Diesel company, situated in Jihlava. In the theoretical part the essential terms and general findings about gender management and work-life balance are explained. The practical part of the thesis deals with the chosen company, analysis of its internal environment and incentives to integrate gender management and deal with the work-life balance. Alongside with the survey in Bosch Diesel, questionnaire research in Honeywell (Brno) was accomplished, which provided an interesting comparison with the questionnaire investigation carried out in Bosch Diesel. The aim of the thesis is to prepare suitable suggestions based on the previous analysis. These suggestions are of informational character and then they could bring positive changes in some companies (and the whole society as well).

The master’s thesis analysis possibilities for work-life balance of women and men in leadership in academic sphere. It specifies gender roles, labor market segregation, stereotypes in population and outlines the benefits of implementation of equal opportunities for employers. The empirical part focuses in accord with the aim of the thesis on the issue of harmonization of work and family, and analyzes in detail the differences between men and women, their mutual cooperation and the reasons for the low representation of women in management positions.
Women in Management

The main claim of this thesis is to outline the situation of the VŠE graduates using the analyse of secondary data. In the theoretical part I present the differences between men and women, describe the main barriers which disallow women to get to the top management positions and the reasons which cause the disbalance between men and women wages. Furthermore in the text is shown methods how to eliminate the gender disbalance existing in organisations and the way how to synchronise work with the family life. In the practical part by using secondary data and different studies I try to characterise from gender point of view the czech labor market,to examine the status of czech women and their income in the management area and to compare it with VŠE graduates situation.
