I choose the topic of my bachelor's thesis on the basis of practice, personal experience and the experience of colleagues in the field. I deal with the description of the activities and risks associated with activities of social workers to achieve the goals in homes for abandoned children with school. I used a qualitative research, method of semi-structured interviews, to achieve these goals. Five social workers from these institutions in Czech Republic were willing to do the interview with me. It was found that the role of social worker is very important and diverse in its content. The social worker is an intermediary between the institution for these kids and all other related institutions. Social worker coordinates the admission of children and administratively ensures their admission, transfer and release, cooperates and mediates contact with OSPOD, CSSA, Czech police, courts, schools and medical facilities. Role of Child behavioral psychologist in a children's home to school
JAKŠIČOVÁ, Kateřina
The questions and problems concerning the upbringing of children are a part of everyday life. Every day, there are new publications, websites or popular magazines that advise the general public and recommend how to raise children in the best way. These general recommendations are not suitable for children who, due to inadequate education, central nervous system disorders or social environment, suffer from some of behavioral disorders. These individuals are very negatively perceived by society and their number is increasing in the recent years. If the behaviour disorder is not acceptably compensated, there is the possibility that the children are eventually placed in educational facilities for institutional and protective care, where a team of experts led them to the adoption of appropriate patterns of behaviour. In the Czech Republic, there are several types of these facilities, which are engaged in re-education. In the resocialization process, a very important role is performed by a special education teacher a child behavioural psychologist. The scope of these professionals is very wide and, in cooperation with other professionals, responsible for the successful inclusion into society. The main task of the child behavioural psychologist is to establish a relationship with the children and also to percectly know them. A child behavioural psychologist in the facility replaces the parental role, which is often absent in the original environment. Subsequently, the program consists of individual personality development, which determines the process of re-education of the child. This program leads to the adoption of behaviour acceptable to both the child and a normal society outside the facility.
