Study of influence of input parameters for the numerical modeling of the compression test
Polách, Marek ; Keršner, Zbyněk (referee) ; Lehký, David (advisor)
The thesis analyses influence of input parametres of the 3D Non Linear Cementitious 2 material model for the numerical modeling of compression test performed in ATENA 2D and ATENA 3D software. The aim is to identify parametres with considerable influence and subsequently replicate the load-deflection curve obtained from laboratory compression test by numerical modeling. The effects of selected model and material model settings are studied on three kind of models in total. As tools for analyzing the effects, deterministic and statistic sensitivity analyses were chosen. Parametres with significant influence will be highlighted and added to the group of parametres obtained from numerical modeling of three-point bending test. This will create a set of parametres of considerable influence when it comes to modeling advanced structures with different types of stresses.
Analysis of Vibration Energy Harvester with Free Moving Mass
Moravčík, Patrik ; Rubeš, Ondřej (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis is focused on analysis of piezoelectric harvester, with unattached mass, finding out best combinations of masses, which would be the best for desing this type of generator. Adding different masses on this beam, we can see different responses to the sinusoidal harmonical signal excitation as well as the pulsating signal. The resulting most suitable combinations will also be subjected to simulations with the piezoelectric layer, the results of the output voltage and power evaluated.

NEW ON THE „OLD“ – Brno, Bratislavská - Stará Corner
Maťaťa, Tomáš ; Chmelař, Ivo (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
The apartment complex comprises eight dwelling units which share a common courtyard. The staircases and lifts are placed in between the individual objects. They are part of a semi-public space, so residents do not feel anonymous as in the case enclosed corridors. Before entering their flat, resident gets in contact not only with neighbors, but also with the community and the street. Facades and staircases do not split the street and residential space, but rather serve as a gradual transition between the public and private space. Flats become part of the street and the courtyard through balconies. The contact between the resident is growing: flat- balcony- terrace- courtyard. Disposition is a result of the resident´s needs. Individual rooms are defined using partition panels. Residents decide themselves where the partition is places, whether the flat is open or divided into rooms. The flats can change their arrangements and sizes depending on the number of household members.
The assembly gap influence on the stress and strain at the radial ball bearing
Rašovská, Hana ; Prášil, Jiří (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the influence of assembly clearance on strain and stress in the radial ball bearing. The theme of this thesis was commissioned by ZKL - Research and development, a. s. For six different assembly clearances and selected ball bearing was made force-loaded static analysis of global computational models. Subsequently was made a static analysis of local computational models loaded by strain according to the results of global models. The output of analysis of local models was sizes of stress, which led to the analysis of bearing with two other models of material. For the solution of the problem was used pre/post processor Patran and solver MSC.Marc.
Statics, dynamics and kinematics of multibody contacts
Štekbauer, Hynek ; Kala, Jiří (referee) ; Krejsa, Martin (referee) ; Němec, Ivan (advisor)
The dissertation deals with the problem of dynamic contact and kinematic constraints between various entities and the related issues of its implementation for static and dynamic finite element analysis. The reason for the development in this area is the increasing demands on functionality of FEM softwares and also accuracy and performance of computational models. Firstly, the problem of enforcing contact conditions in explicit dynamics is addressed. New methods are proposed with respect to the stability of the explicit time integration scheme so that there is no need to reduce the computational time step, adjust the input variables or solve a large system of equations. These methods are based either on basic kinematic principles or on the energy conservation law. Furthermore, attention is paid to different types of constraint conditions having a wide application in civil engineering practice. Understanding them is the starting point for the subsequent definition of the newly designed finite element of the pulley. The correctness of all theoretically proposed methods and their implementation is demonstrated by numerical examples.
Flat feet occurrence in university students regarding to previous sports activities
Puchmertlová, Magdalena ; Jandová, Soňa (advisor) ; Janošková, Hana (referee)
The bachelor thesis addresses the topic of flatfoot in physical education students. The aim of the thesis was to find out whether the selected students' previous physical activity has an influence on the occurrence of flat feet. A questionnaire survey was conducted on a group of women (n=47) and men (n=24), with an average age of 22 ± 2 years, height of 1.72 ± 0.09 m, weight of 66 ± 12 kg and an average EU numbering foot size of 40 ± 2.5. A questionnaire survey was used to obtain data on previous and current sporting activity, the types of footwear used during training, the health status of the individual and the use of compensatory methods. Furthermore, we performed flatfoot measurements using the FootScan® strain gauge plate (RSscan International, Belgium). The results showed that 72.9 % of women had a normal foot, 22.9% had a flat foot and 4.2% had a high foot; in men, the percentage was 45 % with a normal foot, 50 % with a flat foot and 5 % with a high foot. Furthermore, the contact time of the studied groups did not change and differences were shown mainly in the percentage of loading in the different zones of the foot. The effect of previous sporting activity or weekly sporting load on the incidence of flatfoot was not statistically demonstrated. It will be appropriate to verify this in a...

Prostředníková, Anna ; Hendrychová, Michaela (advisor) ; Šustek, Petr (referee)
Adjustment of child circumstances after the divorce Abstract This diploma thesis focuses on the adjustment of circumstances of children of divorced parents. Structurally, the thesis is segmented into an introduction, 6 chapters and conclusion. In case of content the thesis can be divided into four pivotal categories. The first part provides a general view into the elemental problems of parental liability. The second part focuses on the problem of the adjustment of circumstances of children after the divorce of their parents as such and examines all attributes in detail that the adjustment approaches. Great attention is given to the types of childcare, child-support and the contact of the non-resident parent with the child. The topic of the third part is the analysis of reasons that can be the cause of change of the present conditions. Finally, the fourth section provides a comparison of the current Czech legislation with the one of the Netherlands. Key worlds Parental responsibility, divorce, child, childcare, maintenance obligation, alimony, contact,
Modelling approaches to the stress wave propagation in a cracked specimen
Kruisová, Alena ; Kopačka, Ján ; Kober, Jan
One of the essential tasks of non-destructive testing is to detect a crack in a specimen. It is well known that a component with a crack exposed to a harmonic excitation of a given frequency\nhas a nonlinear response as a function of the excitation amplitude. The focus of this paper is the numerical modelling of this phenomenon using the finite element method with the consideration\nof the contact constraint at the crack interface. In addition to the nonlinear transient dynamic problem solved by explicit time integration, a more efficient procedure based on the harmonic\nbalance method is developed. The results of numerical simulations are also compared with experimentally obtained data.
Psychological aspects of carrying infants in a sling
Kořínková, Pavla ; Šulová, Lenka (advisor) ; Horáková Hoskovcová, Simona (referee)
The research problem of the thesis undertakes psychological aspects of carrying an infant on a mother's body using a sling or carrier. The research question states: What are the motives of mothers to carry their infant in carrying aid, according to opinions of mothers who carry their babies? The theoretical part discusses psychological findings about an early mother-child relationship in terms of contact and emerging bonds (attachment) from a prenatal period, through perinatal period, and up to one year of an infant's age. More attention has been paid to biological, behavioural, anthropological, and especially psychological assumptions for carrying an infant by its mother. A qualitative research method has been chosen for the emphirical part of the thesis. The data has been obtained by means of semi-structured interview conducted with nineteen respondents that have had experiences with carrying an infant. The respondents have been selected by an improbability selection method. The recorded interviews have been transcribed verbatim and analysed using a grounded theory. Among the most common motives for carrying a child include pleasurable feelings and experiences of mothers; especially feelings of naturalness, tranquillity, security, and freedom. Furthermore, the mothers appreciate the practicality...
