Structural analysis of part of electrical machine
Fodor, Viktor ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
This thesis discusses the optical diagnostics of electrical motor parts using a 3D scanner. It describes the construction of electrical induction motors, their heat losses, cooling and refrigeration systems that may be used by such motors. It approaches the possibilities of heat recording and briefly explains the 3D scanner’s principal. It also introduces the simulation program ANSYS which uses the finite element method. This thesis shows the post processing of the digitalized object and the simulations and compares the simulation and measurement results. The final part is devoted to the analysis of the obtained results.
Friction and air feeders for paper sheets
Svoboda, Ondřej ; Košťál, David (referee) ; Brandejs, Jan (advisor)
The thesis is focused on summarizing the evidence on the issue of paper sheets feeding at the final processing of documents. The thesis includes dividing of paper feeders, their characterization, and description of friction and air feeders, which are most widespread. As a model for the description methods of sheets feeding were used machinery CFM 700 and GPM 540A of Cyklos company. The thesis also compares friction and air feeding from the constructional point of view. The conclusion focuses on the new methods in the paper feeding in future.
The concentration of particulate matter in the air of selected areas of the city of Brno and its health risks
Bulejko, Pavel ; Čáslavský,, Josef (referee) ; Adamec, Vladimír (advisor)
Tato práce se zabývá znečištěním ovzduší pevnými prachovými částicemi v lokalitách města Brna. V teoretické části je pojednáno o možných zdrojích prachových částic, o chemickém složení a velikostní klasifikaci polétavých částic a dalších fyzikálně-chemických charakteristikách. Následně byly stanoveny koncentrace polétavých částic PM10 a PM2,5. Dále byly u vybraných lokalit stanoveny koncentrace těžkých kovů a polyaromatických uhlovodíků vázaných na prachových částicích. V závěru bylo provedeno srovnání s legislativou a stanovena zdravotní rizika.
Application of diffusion denuder for determination of biogenic volatile organic compounds in air
Handlířová, Gabriela ; Komendová, Renata (referee) ; Křůmal,, Kamil (advisor)
The optimization of conditions for the sampling of biogenic volatile organic compounds (BVOCs) in the air using a diffusion denuder with subsequent analysis of collected samples by gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC-MS) was the main topic of the master thesis. Collecting samples into an absorption liquid at a two-minute interval is the main advantage of the denuder. Selecting appropriate conditions for the highest collection efficiencies of individual BVOCs in denuder and for using the method for sampling in ambient air with various meteorological events was the main aim of all experiments. The following optimal conditions were selected: denuder temperature (20 °C), airflow (500 ml/min), absorption liquid (n-heptane), absorption liquid flow (0,45 ml/min). The measured collection efficiencies of all studied BVOCs in denuder were above 89 % with these optimized conditions, except for highly volatile BVOCs. The detection limits of the studied BVOCs for this method are lower than their concentration in the outdoor air during the growing season. Therefore, the optimized method is suitable for the determination of fast changes in BVOCs concentrations (except highly volatile) in the outdoor air.
Intercooler for the CDS SEMI-PRO combustion engine
Novozámský, Richard ; Bazala, Jiří (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This diplom thesis describes design of new pressured air cooling system for trubocharged Diesel engine used in CDS Semi-Pro competitions. First part is focused on analysis external conditions influencing the desing. Second part pays attention to simulations of performance. Third part describes design of two systems and possible testitng method. In last part, the real parametrs are put into the computing model followed by verification of the results and evaulation of the designed systems.
Tractor Engines Intake Systems Overview
Pacovský, Tomáš ; Svída, David (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
The main focus of this work is creation of textual and pictorial documentation of equipments used on nowadays tractor engine intake systems. Firstly author is focused on introduction of individual parts of intake system with their detail function description and pictorial documentation. After that the separate intake systems overview is made via world known tractors such as Case IH, Deutz – Fahr, John Deere, Massey Ferguson and New Holland. Every representative of tractor is introduced with its overview and pictures of the most significant parts concerned with inletting of air into the engine. The entire pictures documentation of intake systems overview is made by camera at the place of tractor’s dealer and when this photo documentation was unsatisfactory, the www pages of dealers was used. This bachelor’s thesis should show the progressive development of intake system’s individual equipments. Eventually this thesis can be used to evolve another research projects.
Outdoor environment imact on indoor room quality
Zemánek, Jan ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
This thesis deals with the quality of the external and internal environment and the possibility of interaction. Resolves components, pollutants and sources of pollutants that are contained in the external and internal air and thus influence around us all. The theoretical part describes the resources, limit concentration or additional filtering of the individual substances. Are summarized in detail the possibility of air exchange and ventilation in buildings intended for public gatherings. Another part of the treatment methods solve indoor environmental quality (grade of primary school) according to the changes of air flow, ventilation options and the impact of external environment on indoor air quality. It also includes a proposal for forced ventilation of the building of the school. In the experimental part, I focused on the evaluation of the concentration of carbon dioxide in the external and internal environment and the possibilities of noise pollution. In conclusion, there are variants commented and evaluated.
Assesment of air concentration in water depending on pressure
Uttendorfský, Petr ; Habán, Vladimír (referee) ; Pochylý, František (advisor)
This thesis deals with dependence of heat transfer coefficient on rate of air concentration in the water. Main idea appears from gas dissolvability in water depending on pressure, Henry's law and Newton's law of cooling. There had been an experiment made to verify the hypothesis.
