Age management ve stavebnictví ve vybraném regionu

The aim of this diploma thesis is to propose recommendations for effective application of age management in construction companies in the South Moravian Region. The combination of qualitative and quantitative research was used to achieve the aim of the thesis. In qualitative research, 8 semi-structured interviews took place from which MAXMaps were created. Quantitative research consisted of a questionnaire survey (n=84) and a subsequent statistical analysis of the data obtained. On the basis of the data obtained, recommendations for effective application of age management in construction in the South Moravian Region have been created regarding the ergonomics of work, the development of intergenerational cooperation, the support and promotion of the physical fitness of employees and flexible forms of work.
The Approach of the Czech Employers to Workers 50+ Compared to the Key Ideas of Selected International and National Strategic Documents

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the key ideas of currently valid international and national documents in the area of employment of older workers, and then on the basis of empirical investigation assess whether the practices of Czech employers correspond with the ideas of these documents. The work is divided into four parts. The introductory part deals with the specifics of older workers, including a description of the current demographic situation in the country. The second part presents the main ideas of the essential strategic documents in the area of assertion of people older than fifty years in the labour market. The third compares the results of the most recent national surveys with the key ideas of analysed documents. The last part, qualitative research, focuses on the attitude of selected Czech employers towards workers 50+, compares the extracted key ideas of the most important strategic documents in the field of active aging in employment with genuine personnel practices of selected employers. The last chapter also verifies compliance of results of own research with the survey findings presented in the national researches. Strategic Management of Age Structure of Workers in Mechanical Engineering

The Bachelor's thesis focuses on age management of employees in mechanical engineering, which is nowadays a problematic area from the point of view of human resources. The thesis introduces topics related to age (age management, diversity management), but also the topics of succession and talent management. The thesis observes the specifics of mechanical engineering from the point of view of the general industry, and then more specifically, considering the status of graduates and seniors employed in the industry. The thesis contains a quantitative research of age structure management in the selected organizations which were the talks with the representatives of HR bodies and workers resulted in the identification of procedures that guide the decisions about age structure in small and medium-sized mechanical engineering oriented companies in the Benešov region. Intergenerational programs in the practice of educational institutions

The thesis is focused on the possibilities in the management of the intergenerational programmes. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the issue of intergenerational learning from the point of view of the management of educational institutions and to create a proposal of methodology for intergenerational programs management. The first part discusses the management in general, educational management and the characterization and classification of educational institutions and the scope of non-profit organizations. It also deals with lifelong learning and defines intergenerational learning as one of its forms. It deals with the categorization of intergenerational learning and the definition of its linkage in formal, non-formal and informal learning. The work defines the concept of age management, describes its implementation in practice and focuses on the topic of intergenerational programs, their specification, categorization and definition of their benefits and risks. The main objective of the thesis is to find out whether and how the policy of active aging in the region of Zlín is implemented in connection with the labor market. The diploma thesis contains an overview of the theoretical knowledge from the field of active aging and after is elaborated for analysis based on realized collection of primary and secondary data. In conclusion, the problem areas are identified and there are proposed measures to improve the current situation.

This diploma thesis deals with intergenerational cooperation of employees in the field of services, with satisfaction and working effectiveness of elderly employees. The aim of the thesis is to make suggestions and provide recommendations to improve the cooperation of intergenerational employees in the field of services, as well as suggestions that human resources and managers can take to improve the satisfaction and working effectiveness of elderly employees. In the section of quantitative questionnaire research there are applied methods of statistical analysis and in pursuance of qualitative research there are applied methods of semi-structured interviews with employees of selected organisations. Aging population is a contamporary demographic situation of Europe, which has an impact on the efectivity of the labor market and threatens currently set social and economical system. This diploma thesis explores the concept of sustainable employment, which is one of the solutions of unstable labor markets due to aging workers. The sustainable employment is investigated in the V4 countries. The thesis is based on the secondary data from the European Working Condition Survey (EWCS) 2015. Exploring the EWCS 2015 data, 5 factors of sustainable employment for workers from the 50+ age group are determined. Those are: expressive dimension of work, supporting institutions, working conditions, socioeconomic conditions and work-life balance. Moreover, working conditions for the workers from the 50+ age group in the V4 countries are compared to results for the E28. Namely, 8 areas are investigated - satisfaction with working conditions, work-life balance, age discrimination, the threat of losing job, the difficulty of getting another job, the attitude to remaining at work and the health of workers.

Diploma thesis deals with an issue of age management and its introduction to the selected industrial companies. Literary research of the thesis defines general con-cepts related to human resources, specifications of older employees and their status on labour market and examines problematics of the age management in context of present demographic development in Czech Republic. In the thesis there is a survey amongst the employees of the selected companies. These surveys also contains an interviews with top management. In the final part of the thesis there are recommendations based on the findings which leads to the effective applica-tion of the age management in the industrial sector.

Ptáčková, T. Age management and its impact on business activities in a selected company. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2017. This bachelor thesis focuses on prospective solutions of an aging work force from the point of view of a selected business corporation. The starting point is age management concept, modern method of human resources management consid-ering the employees age, abilities and potential. The aim of the thesis is to suggest and recommend ways of application of age management, and to evaluate the ef-fective costs of the implementation. The key chapter consists of an analysis of in-ternal company environment, which is examined by interviews with management members and a questionnaire survey among the employees. The result of the re-search has proved the interest in age management implementation by a lot of employees. All the proposed solutions are based on the starting situation in the company and the way of managing the human resources and age structure of the employees. Coming up to the conclusion all limitations and factors which could have influence in my end proposal, have been mentioned.
