Photovoltaic panels of new generation
Loveček, Michal ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities how to take use of photovoltaic power stations situated in the Czech Republic. In the first part there is the procedure of photovoltaic energy convertion analyzed and the source of this energy described – Sun. The pieces of information about the technology of sollar cells manufacturig and some new technologies recently developed by scientist are summed up in the following part. As next there is the function of photovolatic arrays described as well as how the form of their construction affect their effectiveness. And last but not least the individual project of FV system for family house in Czech Republic with its evaluation is worked out.
Batteries for medical applications
Pagáčová, Lenka ; Tichý, Jiří (referee) ; Kazda, Tomáš (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the influence of different carbon materials on the properties of Li-S accumulators. The theoretical part of the thesis describes primary and secondary electrochemical sources with a focus on medical applications. The second chapter deals individually with a lithium article. The main part of the thesis is the practical production of electrodes for Li-S accumulators using different types of carbon materials. The effects of these materials on the properties of accumulators are investigated to determine the most appropriate in terms of capacity and stability.
Crawler undercarriage for building machines
Richtr, Pavel ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The point of the bachelor’s thesis is to recapitulate pieces of knowledge about types of crawler undercarriages to the weight of 10 tons, make survey of application various types of undercarriages for concrete types of machines, to give and confront properties of undercarriages and tracks in the light of weight of machine and operating specifications.
Effect of compaction pressure to the electrochemical properties of the electrodes for Li-S accumulators
Jaššo, Kamil ; Tichý, Jiří (referee) ; Kazda, Tomáš (advisor)
The purpose of this diploma thesis is to describe the impact of compaction pressure on the electrochemical parameters of lithium-sulfur batteries. Theoretical part of this thesis contains briefly described terminology and general issues of batteries and their division. Every kind of battery is provided with a closer description of a specific battery type. A separate chapter is dedicated to lithium cells, mainly lithium-ion batteries. Considering various composition of lithium-ion batteries, this chapter deeply analyzes mostly used active materials of electrodes, used electrolytes and separators. Considering that the electrochemical principle of Li-S and Li-O batteries is different to Li-ion batteries, these accumulators of new generation are included in individual subhead. In the experimental part of this thesis are described methods used to measure electrochemical parameters of Li-S batteries. Next chapter contains description of preparing individual electrodes and their composition. Rest of the experimental part of my thesis is dedicated to the description of individual experiments and achieved results.
Intelligent BMS for lithium batteries
Vašíček, Jakub ; Kazda, Tomáš (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is focused on design of electronic system called BMS, which is necessary for lithium batteries safety operation. The first part contains a brief description of lithium battery design. The following is an overview of the main parameters of this type of batteries. The next part describing various methods of state of charge (SoC) estimation and the ways to ensure uniform charge of each cell. Based on the theoretic analysis, the block diagrams for individual parts of BMS were designed. The following describing device assembly and design of control algorithm. The last part is devoted to measurement of achieved attributes. In conclusion, results of the work are discussed and possibilities of future improvements are suggested.
Usage and Future in Alternative Drive of Automobile
Žalman, David ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to state an overview of alternative drive of automobiles and their effect on ecology. The main part consists of a description of specific characteristics and peculiarities of power units, their advantages, disadvantages and shows examples of some vehicles. In the conclusion of the thesis it is foreshadowed in what way the car industry could proceed in the subsequent years.
Rooftop photovoltaic system and its return of investment
Burián, Michal ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Pěcha, Jiří (advisor)
The Bachelor’s Thesis is focused on a potency of using the Rooftop photovoltaic system, like the investment project. The general principle of the photovoltaic transformation and eventual utility of a sun solar radiation in Czech Republic is described in the first part of the Thesis. Furthermore there is a overview of approachable technology of the photovoltaic systems. The third part contains a review of inverters and photovoltaic systems integration. Following the complete concept of the Rooftop system and the calculation of capital expenditure for the selected property. Finally, the last part of the Thesis attend to summarize produced aggregate energy, the profit assignment due to service system. The main aim is to evaluate the Rooftop photovoltaic system and its return on the investment due to operating costs.
Analysis of the photovoltaic cell cooling
Hřešil, Tomáš ; Vyroubal, Petr (referee) ; Maxa, Jiří (advisor)
This project solves the problem of cooling the photovoltaic cell. Solar cell was modeled according to a real model in SolidWorks, and subsequently created the model was simulated in SolidWorks Flow Simulation and Ansys Fluent. The use of both systems allow a comparison of their possibilities in the field of heat transfer and their suitability for the case. The conclusion summarizes the first results and outline further developments cooling design to optimize the performance of the solar cell.
The Use of Metohods of the Project Management in IT Projects
Hrušková, Eliška ; Janošek, Dominik (referee) ; Smolíková, Lenka (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis aims on the usage of project management methodology in practice. The first part describes the theoretical project background, it’s phases, used methods and other necessary information. The second part closely describes Garrett Advancing Motion company, where the project is taking place, together with the description of the state before the project. The main topic is in the design part where is used the project management methodology in the expansion of the internal know-how base SharePoint.
Characteristic of ESP written communication
