The physiotherapy after soft tissue surgery of the knee joint after injury
ROZŠAFNÁ, Markéta
The bachelor's thesis deals with physiotherapy after soft tissue surgery of the knee joint caused by an injury. The work is divided into two main parts, the theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis first describes the anatomy, function, and kinesiology of the knee joint. The function of the soft tissues of the knee joint - ligaments and menisci - is also explained. Follows the pathophysiology of the knee joint, divided into congenital malformations and soft tissue injuries. At the end of the theoretical part of the work deals with the treatment of meniscus disorders and the treatment of disorders of the fibrous apparatus of the knee joint. The practical part was developed in the form of mixed research. The research group consisted of three probands - adult men aged 45-55 years, who met the conditions of this work. Two patients came to the Center of physiotherapy - Faculty of Health and Social sciences in České Budějovice, where I had the opportunity to work with them. The third patient came from my family and I met him at home. The practical part of the work consists of elaborated case reports of individual probands, input and output examinations, and a description of therapies. This work aimed to determine the effect of physiotherapy in patients after soft tissue injuries to the knee joint. The second goal was to find out how quickly the patient can return to the regime and normal life after the injury, or if there are any differences between the treatment rates of the athletic and non-athletic patients. I met probands regularly for 7-10 weeks, depending on the severity of their injury. The success of the therapy was evaluated according to the objective evaluation of the patient, by comparing the entrance and exit examinations and the subjective evaluation. Thanks to the evaluation of patients, it can be stated that both selected goals were met.
Kindergarten teachers' knowledge of first aid
SHONOVÁ, Kristýna
The bachelor's thesis in its theoretical part presents the topic of first aid at the legislative level and also offers the principles of first aid in acute complications of selected chronic diseases and injuries. The principles are adapted to the role of the teacher of preschool children. The practical part of the work summarizes the results of a questionnaire survey of 144 teachers of kindergartens, especially in the southern part of the Czech Republic and finds out what is the level of knowledge in the field of providing first aid to children by kindergarten teachers. Based on these responses, it turned out that respondents with less than 21 years of experience (average test success rates of 67,5% and 67,7%) were more aware of the correct provision of first aid according to current recommendations than the group of teachers with more than 21 years of experience (average success rate of the test 62,8%), or that the respondents manage to provide first aid for injuries (e.g. falls from a height or burns) rather than for complications of chronic diseases (e.g. allergies or epilepsy). Furthermore, the survey showed that not all teachers are regularly trained in first aid.

Hubka, Petr ; Gryc, Tomáš (advisor) ; Bačáková, Radka (referee)
Title: Injury risks and their analysis in czech parkour community Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis was to find out when, where and how the most common injuries in parkour happen, which individual body segments are most affected and a comparison of injury rates between parkour competitors and non- competitors. Methods: The main methods used were analysis, synthesis and questionnaire survey. The subjects were parkour players aged 15 years and older. The questionnaire survey was used to obtain key information on injuries to recreational and elite parkour athletes. Results: 90% of parkour athletes have suffered at least one injury in the last 3 years of parkour training. The average number of injuries in 3 years of training is for competitive parkour athletes 3.03 and for non-competitive parkour athletes 2.77. The most common type of parkour injury is joint injury i.e. in 44% (n=57 responses). The most common skills that cause injuries in parkour are flips i.e. 36% (n= 40 responses) and jumps (precision, tictac, catleap and others) i.e. 32% (n= 36 responses). The most common place where parkour injuries occur is outdoors, i.e. at 57% (n= 66 responses). The most common body segment injured while doing parkour is the ankle joint (n= 50 responses). The most common cause of injury in parkour is...

Hrubý, Matyáš ; Majorová, Simona (advisor) ; Prokešová, Eva (referee)
Title: Level of first aid knowledge of ice hockey players Objectives: The main aim of this study was to determine the level of first aid knowledge of ice hockey players. The sub-objective is to determine whether education affects first aid knowledge. The second sub-objective is to determine whether graduates of first aid courses achieve better results than individuals who have never taken a course in their life. Methods: Quantitative data collection through a survey was used to meet the objectives. The questionnaire survey was conducted by internet distribution using Google forms. The target group were active ice hockey players. A total of 42 participants took part in the survey. The first half of the survey dealt with general information about respondents while the second half focused on general first aid knowledge and dealing with the most common injuries in ice hockey. The data was processed and subsequently evaluated. Objectives: Based on the survey, it was found that ice hockey players did not demonstrate sufficient knowledge of first aid. Respondents answered with an average success rate of 69 %. It was also found that the results were influenced based on previous participation in a first aid course. Players who had previously completed a course achieved an average success rate of 72 %. While...

Holubová, Šárka ; Šorfová, Monika (advisor) ; Malá, Jitka (referee)
Title: Conservative treatment of proximal humerus fractures in the elderly: literature review Objectives: The aim of this thesis is a search processing mostly foreign available sources in the field of proximal humerus fractures in the elderly. The analyzed studies focus on the effectiveness of early therapy using early mobilization and also on the aspects that lead to the persistence of problems related to this diagnosis in the elderly. These studies are evaluated and compared on the basis of theoretical knowledge of the issue. The purpose of this work is to obtain an up-to-date overview of the issue and to present evidence of the effectiveness of this type of treatment. Methods: The diploma thesis is processed in the form of a literary research. The sources were researched in the PubMed, PEDro, MEDLINE, EBSCOhost, Scopus and Web of Science databases. The first part of the thesis contains a theoretical introduction to the issue of aging and related changes, it also focuses on fractures of the proximal humerus and their treatment. The second part of the work has a descriptive - analytical character and contains an analysis of selected studies that focus on the evaluation of early therapy after fractures of the proximal humerus. Results: At the end of the search, 6 studies focusing on early therapy...

Jurgovská, Aneta ; Vorálek, Rostislav (advisor) ; Pavlů, Dagmar (referee)
Title: Ankle joint injuries in young volleyball players, prevention options and subsequent rehabilitation Objectives: The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the number of injuries in the junior category of the 1st league and extra league volleyball in the Czech Republic with a focus on ankle joint injuries. Another goal is to examine the course of follow-up care after the injury and to find out the most frequently used preventive measures for the elimination of injuries. Methods: The basis of this diploma thesis was quantitative research in the form of a questionnaire survey. To obtain the data, a non-standardized questionnaire was created, which included questions about injuries with a focus on the ankle joint, prevention rates and forms of follow-up care after the injury. The obtained data were processed using descriptive statistics and contingency tables, especially in Microsoft Excel 2003, and converted into a graphical form. Results: 92 % of players were injured in the junior category of the 1st league and extra league of the top volleyball. The most frequently occuring mechanism of injury was contact with another player. The most common injured segment was the ankle joint, which was reported by 76 % of players. In terms of the severity of ankle injuries, we most often encountered...
