In the theoretical part summarizes the particular information about renewable energy and the cultivation of fast growing trees, she is also the issue of ecological stability of the landscape to which RRD production contributes to the business plan. Investigation of the village Stržanov focused primarily on the present structure of resources, fuel and attitudes of the population towards the possible introduction offers fast growing trees grown on agricultural land. The practical part is the calculation of the area of SRC plantations to supply the village Stržanov and their impact on the value of the coefficient of ecological stability (KES).
The future of solar power plants in the Czech Republic
Choutka, Tomáš ; Zemplinerová, Alena (advisor) ; Koubek, Ivo (referee)
The thesis called "The Future of Solar Power Plants in the Czech Republic" is oriented to the characteristics of production of electric energy in solar power plants which are supported by many legislative incentives. We are currently standing in the situation of reducing energy tariffs for production of electricity from solar power plants in most European countries because of their unbearable impact on consumers and national budgets. The aim of this thesis is to analyze impacts of the energy tariffs for solar energy and to explain increase of installed capacity of solar power plants by forming a model for calculating financial return of an investment in construction of solar panels. The thesis points out that the incentives are still very high and interest in construction of solar power plants will probably endure even in the future as long as these favorable legislative conditions are set. This situation will result in bringing more additional costs for the end-users of electric energy.

Innovation Management in the Wind Power Industry
Gnauck, Robert ; Hnilica, Jiří (advisor) ; Martina, Jakl (referee)
The wind industry has arrived at a state of technological maturity and is occasionally already today cost-competitive to conventional sources of energy. This thesis investigates the process of innovation that took place within the industry. A theoretical background into economical theory of innovation together with a status quo assessment of today's wind industry serves as introduction to the topic. In the analytical part, inducement mechanisms and functions of technological development will be identified as crucial drivers for innovation within the sector. The key findings of this thesis lead to conclude that it is now the responsibility of the industry to becoming fully cost-competitive to conventional sources. The advancement of technological lifecycle will primarily depend on turbine manufacturers and their capability to drive innovation more independently from governments.
Evaluation of the impact of solar power plants on the environment
KRÝCHA, Marek
The number of solar power plants in the Czech Republic increased from 249 in 2009 to 12 861 in 2010. This rapid growth was caused by subsidies such as so called green bonus and high feed-in tariff with 20 years guarantee. The aim of this thesis was to evaluate positives and negatives of this technology with regard to the environment. As a model example, the data from the Bušanovice solar power plant were used for evaluation. The price evolution and affordability of photovoltaic technology was evaluated according to the investment and running costs and profit. Estimation of the situation after 20 years of operation and the amount of reduced CO2 emissions were also included in the evaluation. It has been found that the most used photovoltaic technologies possess ecological risk. Solar power plant has the minimum maintenance demands and does not produce any noise emissions or the dangerous substances. Problem however is in the agriculture land occupation and disruption in the landscape throughput and landscape character. The current legislation also does not solve the problem of ecological liquidation of the solar power plants. It can also be concluded that the photovoltaic technologies are becoming more affordable.
Minimalizace emisní zátěže kogenerační jednotky výzkumem nových technologických postupů pro využití v komunální sféře
Vysoká škola báňská - Technická univerzita Ostrava ; Mihola, Milan ; Kocich, Radim ; Macháčková, Adéla ; Klečková, Zuzana
Zvolená kogenerační technologie je jednou z možností snížení emisní zátěže ŽP, neboť kombinovanou výrobou tepla a elektřiny se snižuje spotřeba použitého paliva, a tím klesá produkce exhalací. Jsou shrnuty možnosti hospodárného nakládání s vyvíjenou tepelnou energií v rámci kogeneračních technologií.
