Algorithms for queues ans warehouse controll of the conveyor system
Vidlička, Adam ; Simeonov, Simeon (referee) ; Hromková, Ivana (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a model of conveyor system with storage using Tecnomatix Plant Simulation. The methods within the model are programmed to control the material flow between conveyors and storage. The data are obtained by simulation of combinations of choosen programmed methods. The data are compared and the most suitable combination for the created model is choosen.
Parallel genetic algorithm
Trupl, Jan ; Kobliha, Miloš (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis describes design and implementation of various evolutionary algorithms, which were enhanced to use the advantages of parallelism on the multiprocessor systems along with ability to run the computation on different machines in a computer network. The purpose of these algorithms is to find the global extreme of function of $n$ variables. In the thesis, there are demonstrated various optimization problems, and their effective solution with the help of evolutionary algorithms. There are also described interface libraries MPI(Message Passing Interface) and OpenMP, in the extent needed to understand the problematic of parallel evolutionary algorithms.
Testing of QoS support in experimental data network
Fogl, Miroslav ; Škorpil, Vladislav (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
This work deals with the qualitative requirements on services in IP networks based on technology Ethernet. We describe basic methods for imposing quality control mechanisms on services within networks. We elaborate on the ways, in which packets can be handled, overload controlled and transfer speed in network elements limited. Attention is given also to the Network Layer and Link Layer. Based on concrete specifications of network devices in UTKO laboratory an experimental network was designed and constructed. Network consisting of routers and switches linked several servers with client stations. Various types of data transfers (VoIP, HTTP, FTP, video) were generated. Several techniques for handling packets with different priorities were verified and compared. We observed that, in situations when connections are under full load, implementation of QoS support in the network becomes very important. This observation was confirmed by measurements. We also measured the parameters of the system during simulations of various situations, such as overload of a connection due to unsolicited operations or failure of a connection between routers. In order to guarantee the quality of services it is necessary to create a domain, in which rules are consistently observed in all network elements.
Automatic Attendant application using Asterisk PBX
Benýšek, Jiří ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Kovář, Petr (advisor)
Application of IP telephony is still more and more popular. This technology is designed for large companies as well as for home or office use. If customer needs to use advanced features of the private branch exchanges, he had to purchase more expensive solutions than common equipment. These professional products may be replaced by open source solutions, which can fully replace them. Private branch exchange Asterisk is one example of these products. Bachelor’s thesis is focused on IP telephony, treats of basic principles and network protocols used by this service. This thesis then describes the public branch exchange Asterisk, its possibilities for use in call centers and administration of call queues using this PBX. After theoretical analysis, this thesis deals with installation and configuration of this PBX. It includes installation of necessary operating system, additional packages containing necessary libraries and modules needed for correct function of the PBX. Configuration of Asterisk such as creation of user accounts of SIP protocol and dialplan is described in the next chapter and then all of these functions are tested. Achieved practical results are presented in the last chapter of this bachelor’s thesis.
Queue Data Processing
Polívka, Tomáš ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The idea of this bachelor thesis is to select the most suitable technology for queuing data processing. Using the selected technology, we will then implement the queuing solution in a currently running application. The final implementation compare with the existing solution which is based on database queuing.

Queue Management On Active Network Elements
Pancák, Matej
Delay is an QoS (Quality of Service) parameter which has effect on almost every service provided by Internet connection. Every network element increases delay because of the need of handling data. The introduction presents an optimization process performed on MikroTik device, using Mangle and Queue tools. This optimization has positive effect on this important parameter. In last part of this work is shown that positive effect on delay is obvious as the transmission speed has raised up, after optimization process has been applied.

Abstract Data Types for C Language
Duda, Tomáš ; Křena, Bohuslav (referee) ; Honzík, Jan M. (advisor)
This thesis deals with abstract data types in C language. There are explained abstract data types principles and operations around it. The main object of this thesis is a student scripts transcription, which is written in Pascal language, to the C language. Within all this belongs also an animated program for demonstration. This program animates operations around linear lists and is implemented in FLASH environment.
Queue Management in Network Active Elements
Pancák, Matej ; Kubánková, Anna (referee) ; Koton, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis is mainly focused on efficiency of data handling on active network elements and monitoring of transmission speeds in real and testing networks. The purpose of this work is to create and implement algorithm which is able to reorganize list of Mangle rules. The purpose of this optimization is to raise data processing efficiency and decrease communication delay as main QoS parameter. The result of the work is series of measurements in order to confirm the effect of optimizations on the transmission and other parameters.
