Issues of postponement of school attendance in the town of Kladno
Fürstová, Jana ; Kropáčková, Jana (advisor) ; Stará, Jana (referee)
The thesis is mapping the region of Kladno in period of 4 years and is pointing to an increase of school suspension in 2011by about six percent, compared to the average in previous three years. With help of used research methods, interviews and data analysis, we have confirmed and determined a hypothesis, that the most weakened components of children's personalities in Kladno are connected to social maturity, which pointed out self- sufficiency problems and problems with making contacts with peers. At the field of mental maturity we detected speech defects and inability to focus on classwork. Also we concluded that school suspension is more frequently granted to boys. This is pointed out in the theory of Langmeier, J., Krejčířová, D. 2006 and ÚIV. However, the month of birth, which also determines accession to the school, is important. At the end of our thesis, which contains general summary, we highlighted the uncertain areas and we suggested other possible topics, which needs to be further investigated.

Uvízlová, Lenka ; Řezníčková, Dana (advisor) ; Hanus, Martin (referee)
This bachelors work has been created with the purpose of answering the question: "How can we increase the efficiency of fieldwork methods?". This has been answered by creating a qualitative questionnaire aimed at geography teachers at grammar schools, and also a pilot research has been contemplated. Conceptually, this work is split into two parts: theoretical part and methodological-empiric part: The Theoretical part. This is divided to three units. The first unit explains the content of the main terms connected with field geography education. It offers different variations of field education and the reader is introduced to meanings and benefits of this educational style for students. The second unit deals with the term "education efficiency and gives its possible homonyms and synonyms. By means of efficiency scheme and education levels it refers to the particular aspects which influence it. The third unit is focused on literature analysis. The Methodological-empiric part. This is inscribed to a closer approach of methodology of research work and collected data. It contains an explanation of a selection of used methods: introduction of qualitative research and controlled interview; and introduction of surveyed sample and analysis of the data. In the conclusion we discuss the pertinence of questionnaire, and...
Correspondence physics competition of MFF UK - its feedback and development
Kolář, Karel ; Žák, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Kopecká, Václava (referee)
Correspondence physics competition of MFF UK - FYKOS - is extracurricular physical educational activity organized by university students for upper secondary school students. FYKOS is organized by Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University in Prague (MFF UK). FYKOS' main goals are: dissemination of physics, education of upper secondary school students, establishing conditions for creation of social bindings between participants (and organizers) and propagation of possibility of studies at MFF UK. This work is the first complete text about running of FYKOS and it is also the first systematical feedback from FYKOS' participants and FYKOS' organizers. The first part is a description of all FYKOS' activities (correspondence part, camps, FYKOSí Fyziklání and others). The second chapter includes an analysis of statistical survey of FYKOS' participants. Other chapters are dedicated to the description of gathering feedback and its interpretation. The feedback was made in several ways - interviews, web questionnaire and email questionnaire. Special attention was turned to study and professional development of former participants. Hušáková, Barbora ; Šebesta, Karel (advisor) ; Saicová Římalová, Lucie (referee)
v anglickém jazyce The present M.A. thesis deals with teaching the Czech for foreigners in the preschool education institution. The work with the preschool children is connected with lots of specifics and thus it requires teacherʼs special attitude towards their very young learners. Children- foreigners often come from families, where nobody speaks Czech and their vocabulary is very restricted. Therefore, their inclusion into the Czech educational environment is not easy. In the theoretical part, at first we will focus on analysis of curriculum documents for preschool education, particularly with regard to children-foreigners. Afterwards, we will pay oneʼs attention to possibilities of support of integration of children-foreigners during education in Czech preschool institutions. After that, we will outline the aspects accompanying foreigners' integration into teaching and theoretical ways for child-foreigners integration process. At the end of the theoretical part, we characterize group and individual courses. Two case studies are subject of the empirical part and they contain the complex analysis of situation of children-foreigners in selected preschool institutions.

History of World Wars in the Region of Krucemburk: Teaching Local History at Secondary Schools
Vavroušková, Kateřina ; Havlůjová, Hana (advisor) ; Mikeska, Tomáš (referee)
The thesis deals with the integration of regional history into the teaching of history, concretely by teaching the regional history of the First and Second World War in the village Krucemburk and its surroundings. The primary objective of the thesis was to show the possibilities of using regional history in history lessons with the help of project education. However, it was found that the pupils of investigated classes are not ready for the intended form of project education due to the initial qualitative research during the observation hours. Because of their abilities, it has been chosen to teach in thematic blocks using the critical thinking program so that appropriate methods are used, while observing the general pedagogical principles of the educational process, which describes a practically focused part of the work. KEY WORDS regional history, The First and Second World War, didactical and methodological potential of regional history, pedagogical research, Krucemburk
