Mobile devices in teaching at the 1st grade of elementary school
BERKOVÁ, Jana
The aim of this thesis is to address the issue of using mobile devices in teaching at the primary school level. The theoretical part describes the types of mobile devices, distinguishes the advantages and disadvantages of various operating systems, and identifies specific mobile applications most commonly used for teaching younger school-age pupils. This section of the thesis also outlines possible uses of mobile devices in teaching various subjects at the primary school level and their application, for example, in connection with interactive whiteboards or electronic class registers. The practical part of the thesis consists of the results of a questionnaire survey, which deals with the experiences of primary school teachers with mobile devices in teaching and their availability at selected schools. The attitude of teachers towards the use of mobile devices, especially in lower grades, which is often a topic of debate on teaching forums or social networks, was analyzed. A significant part of the practical section of the thesis is a set of student activities designed for teaching at the primary school level and their reflection from real-world practice.

Franc, Lukáš ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
This master thesis deals with verifying whether it is possible to determine the external speed characteristic of the engine using sensors in mobile phone. For this verification were made driving tests, during which the driving data were measured with mobile phone. These data were processed in the calculation part in MATLAB. Results were compared with power measurement on chassis dynamometer and with two alternative methods of power measurement.
Restaurant Menu for Mobile Phones with Bluetooth
Dzurňák, Tomáš ; Letko, Zdeněk (referee) ; Novosad, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design and implement an application for a mobile phone and a desktop computer, which provides ability to browse a restaurant menu and to make orders. The desktop computer provides information from the restaurant menu and manages new orders. The desktop application is able to communicate with more mobile phones simultaneously. The communications between the mobile phone and the computer is realized with Bluetooh wireless technology. The user interface of the mobile application is designed user-friendly and available in plenty languages. There are suggestions for future development of this project in the end.
3D model of the selected object
Veselý, Milan ; Nosek, Jakub (referee) ; Kalvoda, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was to assess the accuracy of photogrammetric results from images taken with a low-cost Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro camera and a professional digital SLR camera Canon EOS 6D Mark II with a 24 mm fixed lens. The chapel of St. John of Nepomuk near Guntramovice was chosen as the subject for the images. Forty-nine insertion and control points were targeted and scanned at the chapel. Block and beam alignment and creation of 3D mesh models was performed in Bentley ContexCapture software. The standard deviations of all three axes (X, Y, Z) and positional standard deviation on the control points and deviations relative to a reference point cloud acquired with a ground-based laser scanner were statistically tested. The results show that, with the right imaging and processing methods, comparable results can be achieved using a low-cost camera.
Windows Phone 7 Application for Traffic Sign Recognition
Dvořák, Marek ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Procházka, Boris (advisor)
Purpose of this thesis is to create an application that detects and recognizes traffic signs for mobile phones running Windows Phone 7 operating system. Theoretical part contains information about history and characteristics of Windows Phone 7 system, traffic signs in Czech Republic and various methods of image processing. Practical part of this thesis describes particular implementation of recognizing of traffic signs in photographs taken with mobile phone built-in camera. In last part this app is tested in real-life conditions and results of these tests are evaluated.
Mobil system for monitoring of sports activity
Maleňák, Filip ; Čížek, Martin (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this master’s thesis is to analyse methods that are used for monitoring athlete’s activities and a description of current technical solutions with a focus on heart rate and respiratory rate monitoring. The presented solution shows the possibilities of using available open source SW and HW technologies and their implementation in the design of an integrated tool for monitoring sports activities with the iOS operating system.
Vehicle Navigation Systems
Beran, Pavel ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis denote about satellite navigation and mobile phones navigation. We can found the basic explanation of both technologies and their fundamentals of function here. The second part of thesis contains own measurement complete with navigations. In the final part we can found proposals of measurement for learning of a car technique.
Wireless Control of Desktop Presentation Using Mobile Phone with Bluetooth
Tesař, Miroslav ; Letko, Zdeněk (referee) ; Novosad, Petr (advisor)
The project aims to relieve a person performing a notebook or desktop computer based presentation of a need to control the presentation by a keyboard. The system uses a mobile phone with mobile Java and Bluetooth technology to communicate with the computer. The project focuses on the use by a wide range of mobile phones and it is independent of the presentation program using separate definition of user controls. This document also contains a brief introduction to mobile Java technology and Bluetooth.
Keyword Spotting Implementation to Mobil Phone (Symbian 60)
Cipr, Tomáš ; Schwarz, Petr (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
Keyword spotting is one of the many applications of automatic speech recognition. Its purpose is determining spots in given utterance in which some of the specified words were spoken. Keyword spotting has a great potential to enhance performance of new applications as well as the existing ones. An example could be a mobile phone voice control. Due to OS Symbian's coming to the market it is even possible for end user to implement a keyword spotting for a mobile phone on his or her own. The thesis describes theoretical prerequisites for keyword spotting and its implementation. Firstly the OS Symbian is presented with respect to the given task. Secondly each step of keyword spotting process is described. Finally the object design of keyword spotter is presented followed by implementation description. The thesis concludes with results review and notes on possible improvements.

Řezníček, Pavel ; Dlugoš, Jozef (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with possibility of using a mobile phone to measure vehicle dynamics and determine the accuracy of this measurement. In the research part, it is first mentioned what methods are used to produce sensors for mobile phones. Next, a description of individual sensors that can be used for vehicle dynamics measurement, the principle by which the sensors record measured values and their inaccuracies. The practical part shows with which professional device the accuracy of the mobile phone is compared, how data can be collected from both devices and how the comparison measurement was performed. This section also describes the ways in which the measured data of the mobile phone can be improve for better accuracy, and finally the comparison of the measured values from both devices from different points of view.
