The Proposal of Changing the Hotel Marketing Mix which Increases its Competitiveness

This diploma thesis deals with a change of the marketing mix at hotel Fit Přerov, and according to this change shall submit a proposal to increase the competitiveness of the company. The thesis compares the theoretical knowledge with the reality of the hotel, characterizes and describes suggestions and options, in which it can achieve bigger success in the industry and region. The analytical part primarily describes the internal and external environment of the hotel, which influences it, in order to create a proposal that should lead to increase competitiveness of the hotel and strengthening its position in the market.

This diploma thesis deals with strengthening of competitiveness of the accounting centre “Pneuservis” in the VOP GROUP, s.r.o., which currently faces financial problems and lacks enough competitiveness. Proposals have been outlined on the basis of the strategic analysis. The competitive strategy has been developed for Pneuservis VOP GROUP, s.r.o., the part of which has been the formulation of vision, mission and strategic goals. The aim od this bachelors thesis is to create a strategic analysis of the company Al-Namura s.r.o. This company is focused on producing non-alcoholic beverages and wholesale with beverages. In the first part of the thesis teoretical terms and basic processes of strategic analysis are introduced. In the second part these processes are applied to create the strategic analysis of the company. Thanks to these metods we identify opportunities and threats and strengths and weaknesses. Results of each analysis are apply in SWOT analysis, which give us basics to create strategic recommendations.

The aim of a diploma thesis is a proposal strategy of Velké Pavlovice wine subregion. PESTE analysis is used for analysing a macro environment. Micro environment is judged by primary characteristics of a sector and five forces analysis. Moreover, the analysis of attractiveness of the wine sector in Velké Pavlovice subregion is performed. The internal analysis is described by value chain and financial analysis. Strategies are designed by SPACE matrix. From nine recommended strategies is chosen the best one - Focus on winery touristic. The chosen strategy is economically evaluated and it is recommended to engage in Moravian Wine Trails project. General validity of the chosen strategy is determined for other wine subjects in Velké Pavlovice subregion.

In this thesis, I performed a strategic analysis of the corporation including the analysis of its micro and macro region, financial analysis and the analysis of the value creation process. Considering the analysis of strategic milestones beginning in 2006, I put together a SWOT analysis which became the foundation of the strategical advises stated as a result of this paper.
Insurance in phase of structural changes requesting new internal organisation of insurance companies (new management forms)

European insurance currently stands in front of phase of structural changes. Transforming of currently conservative and strongly regulated insurance area will be different from transformations done in other industries. For insurance of 21st century will be typical change of currently calmful insurance market into strongly competitive enviroment requesting significant changes in organizational structure of insurance companies. Effort of whole disertation is to support top management of insurance companies in creation of complicated models of organization structures of insurance companies. The work creates simple theoretical structure explaining changes in organizational structures of insurance companies. Special focus is being put on outsourcing of value chain in claims handling of motor vehicle insurance. Motivation of insurance management to implement described changes is mainly price fight, which strongly emphasizes need of efficiency. Optimizing of insurance company value chain might support increase in profitability of insurance technical result, compared to competition.
Strategic Business Activities of a chosen Firm

The subject of this thesis is to propose suitable business strategies that will lead to strengthening of the company's current situation and increase of sales. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first part theoretically describes methods and procedures used in the practical part. The second part analyses external and internal environment of the chosen company and from the obtained results SWOT analysis and BCG portfolio matrix are created. Subsequently, new strategy is created separately for different individual strategic business units. In the end, chosen strategies are developed into four parts with regards to marketing, finance, R&D and product portfolio.
