Zhodnocení vlivu vybraných parametrů managementu jezdeckého koně na jeho zdravotní stav
FUŇÁKOVÁ, Eliška
This thesis was concerned with assessing the effect of management on the horse, focusing on the saddle and back of the horse. The saddle parameters of each horse were assessed and their suitability was verified using a thermographic camera.
Boundary layer transition visualization in aerodynamic tunnel
Holík, Denis ; Trusík, Vojtěch (referee) ; Popela, Robert (advisor)
The purpose of the thesis was to propose and test an imaging method that allows visualization of the transition of a laminar boundary layer to a turbulent one and visualization of laminar boundary layer separation on the side mirror of a car. The beginning of the paper discusses the theoretical foundations associated with boundary layer formation and its evolution under various conditions. Afterwards, a survey of existing imaging methods that allow the display of flow on the surface of bodies was carried out. Of these methods, imaging using a thermal imaging camera was selected on the basis of the specified characteristics. The method using oil film (oilflow) was chosen as a control. Using both methods, experiments were conducted to confirm the suitability of the thermal imaging method for visualizing the transition of a laminar boundary layer to a turbulent boundary layer. The final test revealed the presence of laminar boundary layer separation on the upper cover of the car side mirror. At the end of the thesis, possible errors associated with the two chosen visualization methods were summarized, and ways to incorporate the thermal imaging method into automotive testing were proposed.
The use of thermography in surveys of monuments
Valach, Jaroslav ; Eisler, Marek
Thermography expands the portfolio of methods that can be used to study the properties of objects in the surrounding world. As recently as a decade ago, the technology was frowned upon for potential military applications controlled, which limited competition in the offer of products and manufacturers and led to high prices of devices based on these principles. It was only thanks to the release of this control that it happened to expand production and make simplified products available to mass use, so get it today for example, a customer can purchase a smartphone with an additional thermographic module for only with a small price increase. Together with the availability of equipment, we observe an increase in the application of thermography in many areas, including surveys of buildings and monuments.
Degradation of Photovoltaic Modules
Poledník, Tomáš ; Křivík, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor diploma thesis is focused on the constructional technology of the solar modules as well as on the problems of the induced degradation under the influence of the potential. It specifies the key issues and possible elements that influence the effect of environment with regard to possible causes of the origin of degeneration. The thesis includes the description of measuring of the polycrystalline and monocrystalline technologies that are resistant to the leading potential. Furthemore, the measuring was carried out on the chosen testing pieces that had been affected by the degradation of the output
Thermography in engineering
Koten, Jakub ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This work deals with non-contact measurement of surface temperatures. The aim of the first part is to explain basic terms, principles and ways of measuring temperature. Furthermore, there is an overview of thermal imagining cameras usable in industry. In the practical part there is a theoretically suggested experiment, which monitors the dependence of the surface temperature on the size of the cross-section of the workpiece during the turning under unchanged cutting conditions. Experimental measurements are executed with using thermocamera ThermaCAM SC 200 and they are evaluated in software called Researcher.
Detection of face parts in the thermographic spectrum
Šujan, Miroslav ; Smékal, Zdeněk (referee) ; Mekyska, Jiří (advisor)
Master´s thesis deals with current problems of face detection and its parts in the infrared thermographic spectrum. Most previously published literature deals with the detection in the visible spectrum, making the thermographic detection range an interesting alternative. The work deals with the processing of image signals, images and faces in thermographic spectrum, selected methods of face detection and its parts and also deals with practical system design for detecting facial parts in this spectrum and its subsequent testing.
Thermovision of photovoltaic modules automatic analysis
Repko, Ilia ; Křivík, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with the automatic evaluation of thermographic images of photovoltaic modules. In theoretical part of work described main principles of sun's battery work and methods for detection defects, that affecting the quality work, including method thermography, which is based on principle of contactless measuring the surface temperature the observed object. Practical part dedicated to creation of algorithms for detection defects, result is a source code for the program MATLAB.
Use of thermographic methods for diagnostics of concrete bridges
Janků, Michal ; Hobst, Leonard (referee) ; Matula, Radek (referee) ; Cikrle, Petr (advisor)
This dissertation is focused on the research of the applicability of the thermographic method in the diagnosis of concrete bridges in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part characterizes selected defects of concrete structures and the principle of their detection. The practical part describes the measurements made in the laboratory on the test specimen and the field on the concrete bridge. Most attention is paid to infrared thermography, ground-penetrating radar and ultrasonic pulse-echo method. Based on the results of the dissertation, recommendations for the use of the thermographic test method in practice were developed.
Possibilities of energy savings in the residential house Merhautova
Bartek, Čeněk ; Kalánek, Jiří (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
The diploma thesis is about the reduction of the energy intensity of the existing residential house Merhautova. The design documentation is focused on the thermal insulation of the living area, the replacement of windows and doors according to the variant of the design, accessible entrance to the house, loggia on the south side of the building and the replacement of the roofing. At the beginning of the diploma thesis the experimental part of the thermography was performed. Images of the existing object by the thermal camera were taken and building survey for the design documentation of the current state of the building was performed. Within the theoretical calculations the energy performance certificate was processed in options of the entering the thermal bridges. The energy performance certificate with thermal bridges calculated according to the details was compared with the energy performance certificate with estimated thermal bridges. A comparison of two options of the replacement of windows and doors was made in realation of the energy intesity of the building. A preliminary budget of these two options was also calculated with regard to the expected simple return on investment due to the heat saving.
Workstation with termo camera
Zeman, Martin ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This thesis contains an overview of physical principles concerning thermography and infra-red sensing, and a specification of a measuring instrument in a measurement system. Next, there are some particular examples of IR sensing applications. In the second part there is a thermal camera market research including individual manufacturers and models with their attributes and prices. There is a closer view of the thermal camera used for this thesis (Guide EasIR-4). In the end of the thesis there are some drafts of computer vision subject tasks (or practices), including workplace designs and solutions, and three task suggestions for bachelor or diploma theses including solution verifications.
