Interviews 2.0 - Using AI for oral historians

This diploma thesis explores the integration of oral history with modern information technologies (IT), especially Artificial Intelligence (AI), aiming to investigate how these technologies can enrich the practice of oral historians and make the processing of oral historical interviews more efficient. It demonstrates, through practical examples, the possibilities of integrating AI and IT services at all stages of oral historical research, from interview preparation to realization, subsequent transcription, analysis, interpretation, and up to its security, archiving, and public publication. The thesis emphasizes practical demonstrations of technology use and research on available services and tools that can facilitate recording interviews, their transcription, sentiment analysis, or metadata creation.
Design and Implementation of a System for the Management and Administration of Project Documentation in the Portfolio of IT Projects

The diploma thesis deals with the proposal for modification of the company's information system to support project management. This modification should facilitate, standardize and define how project documentation will be handled, where it will be stored and who will be responsible for its management. Therefore, the main task is to introduce and implement this solution in the form of a document library that will be assigned to each project page, as well as an approval process over the documents, a report to track the status and communicate this change to the IT organization at Garrett Advancing Motion. The theoretical background of the thesis such as project management and information technology to support project management is described at the beginning of the thesis. Based on these concepts, an analysis of the company, the actual design of the solution and an evaluation is then carried out.
Honeypot for operational technology

This bachelor thesis discusses the challenges associated with the deploying a honeypot for operational technologies protocols. Specifically, it examines the current situation regarding the OPC UA protocol. Despite its proliferation, reliable implementations for the OPC UA honeypots still do not exist. To address this gap, a simple honeypot design was created and implemented. It was built on the honeynet project. The knowledge necessary for this implementation was gained from the analysis of existing honeypots and theoretical insights.

The results of thesis are proposals for the improvement of global marketing policy of the firm.

Bachelor thesis is focused on the selection of affordable information system in real operating companies operating in customer service. Information system should ensure reducing unnecessary administrative burdens engineers performing manual labor. Data and information should be partially automated. The selection framework were therefore included in programs established standards for service organizations, and will be confronted with custom software.
Economic Characteristics of Business Organisations with Utilization of SCM

This dissertation work is focused on issues related to a purchasing process in business subjects. It examines issues related to an evaluation of suppliers for a particular order. It also deals with issues within supplier-purchaser relationship, its creation and management through the SCM - Supply Chain Management. The topic of this thesis is very progressive as the selection and the evaluation of the suppliers is a very important factor in the terms of purchase and purchase expenses. A good management of the supplier-purchaser relationship can save expenses to business subjects. The elaboration of this dissertation thesis used not just theoretical findings acquired from the Czech and international literature, but also findings from surveys. The primary survey was carried out through the quantitative research, in particular research questionnaires. The findings from the primary survey were evaluated through the application Microsoft Excel and UNISTAT ® Statistical Package Version 5.6.06 Light. The acquired results were used to define the most important factors, which affect an evaluation of suppliers as well as an evaluation of the SCM in companies and data about purchases in companies. In addition the findings from the research questionnaires helped to evaluate the appointed hypothesis of the dissertation thesis. A partial outcome of the dissertation thesis is the proposal of the methodology of the evaluation of new and current suppliers including the weighting of individual evaluation parameters. For a common suppliers’ evaluation, an evaluation frequency is set by the importance of supplied material. Additionally, it methodologically describes how to evaluate supplier in time for day-to-day supply and for one-off supply. An additional partial outcome is the proposal of the methodology for an evaluation of a level of the SCM. The conclusion of the dissertation thesis is dedicated to the summary of findings, discussion of preconditions for implementation of the proposed methodology to real situations and possibilities of an additional scientist work in appropriately related subjects.

The bachelor thesis deals with a proposal that has the task of streamlining the display of business processes and better explaining the way of managing a portfolio of projects in a given company. Primary task is to introduce and implement solutions in the form of process models that depict project management in the information technology portfolio, but also a description of the course of this implementation at Garrett Advancing Motion. At the beginning of the thesis, the theoretical foundations of project management and process modeling are described. Based on this theory, the company is then analyzed, the solution itself is designed with implementation and overall evaluation.
