Information System for Organizers of Sailing Races
Vaňo, Peter ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create an information system for organizers of sailboat races. The system is created as a web application with PWA in Java and TypeScript using the Spring and Angular frameworks. The main function of the system is the management of races and the registration of participants. The system also includes support for placing the race course and navigation to buoys afterward. During the work, importance was placed on expandability, reuse, and simplicity.
Central Portal of European University
Web for Displaying Archive Materials
Šesták, Pavel ; Veigend, Petr (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to unify the data of the individual archives into one system, within which the user will be able to search and view the data. In particular, it is about scanned archival materials and their metadata. The thesis describes the different types of archival data and analyses the current systems. The thesis compares four scraping systems on the basis of dataset size, missing values and consistency between datasets. The archival imaging system is then modeled using behavioral and structural UML diagrams. The work also includes a graphical design produced in Figma. The thesis also includes a description of the implementation, testing and deployment procedure using Docker on the school infrastructure.
Intelligent Environment for Extending Python Programming Knowledge via Self-learning
Krejčí, Jan ; Nosko, Svetozár (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis aims to create an intelligent environment for extending the knowledge of Python programming through self-study. A key element of this work is the implementation of feedback mechanisms. For this purpose, the capabilities and limitations of large language models have been analyzed. The developed system uses classification models to provide personalized feedback based on the analysis of student projects. The system has been deployed and tested in the Scripting Languages course at FIT BUT and received positive feedback from students. The outcome presents a comprehensive and functional system that has fulfilled its original intention and contributed to a more effective and interactive Python programming education process.
Identity Management in Information Systems
Tran, Thanh Quang ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of identity management on the web and the implementation of an information system that solves this issue. The proposed information system utilizes Keycloak for identity management and delegating the authentication process centrally to a third party. Thanks to Keycloak, external identity sources can be integrated using widely used protocols such as SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect. The information system itself is built on a microservices architecture, where individual microservices are implemented in the Python programming language. The web client of the information system is implemented in the Vue.js web framework with the Vuetify extension, which is used for easy creation of the web user interface.
Web Application For Downtime Monitoring On a Production Line
Sedláček, Daniel ; Bartík,, Vladimír (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a web application for tracking and analysing downtime on the production line of a selected company. The solution’s design is based on both the client's requirements and an analysis of the current process. The application is developed on the Razor Pages framework using C#. The graphical user interface is created using a combination of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Development utilizes DevOps practices and technologies such as code versioning using Git, continuous integration, and Docker containers.
Templates for Kubernetes Configuration
Kubrachenko, Marko ; Pavela, Jiří (referee) ; Rogalewicz, Adam (advisor)
Application for Automation of Refund Operations For API of GDS Systems
Mikan, Martin ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to analyze and implement various operations of a requiring a refund on a given Global Distribution Systems (GDS) systems in a form of an application that automates these operations in an effort to speed up processing, save agents time and unify all these operations into one running in production application, which will be implemented as a service running on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with a complete result tracking, data analysis, error detection and easy extensibility.
IoT LoRaWAN soil moisture and temperature sensor
Pánisz, Peter ; Zeman, Václav (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis was to develop software and design a protective cover for a development board that measures soil moisture, air temperature, and humidity. The project addressed the connection to a low-power wireless network for Internet of Things devices, through which the measured data was transmitted. The received data needed to be processed and decoded through various applications, which also require configuration. The measurement results can be graphically visualized in the form of charts on a public website accessible via the internet. For the administrator, a private address with additional information is available. The thesis also describes concepts such as application containerization, the selection of a suitable low-power network, and solving issues related to a dynamic public IPv4 address.
Modular System for Recording and Managing Digital Evidences
Zeman, David ; Dzurenda, Petr (referee) ; Malina, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis addresses the issue of security threats in cloud services and their general solutions. Furthermore, the output of this thesis is a proposed solution for log management and storage. This issue is addressed by using software from Grafana Labs publisher which include Promtail, Loki and Grafana. In the introduction, the basic concepts dealing with cloud services and their general security are established. The following section discusses Nextcloud and its security features and the external applications that provide Nextcloud security. The next chapters are an introduction to Docker and also an introduction to logging and its usage. Finally, the actual design of the log management and storage solution is addressed by the aforementioned software from Grafana Labs.
