The .I.v./I.-Src and .I.c./I.-Src tyrosine kinases immunoprecipitated from Rous sarcoma virus-transformed cells display different specificities to three commonly used peptide substrates
Vojtěchová, Martina ; Tuháčková, Zdena ; Hlaváček, Jan ; Velek, Jiří ; Sovová, Vlasta
Using three synthetic peptides widely used for Src kinase activity assays, we detected differences between the affinities of .I.v./I.-Src and .I.c./I.-Src tyrosine kinases immunoprecipitated from the Rous sarcoma virus transformed cells H19.
Collection Symposium Series 6
Slaninová, Jiřina
Proceedings from the national Conference Biologically Active Peptides VIII. The volume gives a survey of research projects concerning peptides in Czech Republic.
Analysis of peptides by capillary zone electrophoresis and micellar electrokinetic chromatography
Šolínová, Veronika ; Kašička, Václav ; Koval, Dušan ; Hlaváček, Jan ; Barth, Tomislav ; Ciencialová, Alice ; Klasová, Lenka ; Straková, Jana
Two methods were used for analysis of purity of different kinds of peptides those having ionogenic groups and those devoid of ionogenic groups.
May bis-intercalator-peptides influence prion aggregation?
Šebestík, Jaroslav ; Hlaváček, Jan ; Stibor, I.
The synthesis of peptide libraries functionalized with 9-aminoacridines (Acr-NH2) was described as well as an assay based on precipitation of amyloidogenic dye from buffer solution HV monitoring of positional-scanning combinatorial libraries.
Analysis of ionic components including polypeptide and protein allergens in water extracts from the airborne dust samples by capillary isotachophoresis
Sázelová, Petra ; Kašička, Václav ; Koval, Dušan ; Peltre, G.
Water extracts of the dust samples collected in different periods in air-filtration devices in Prague car-traffic tunnels and in Parisian metro station were analyzed both in cationic and anionic capillary isotachophoresis modes.
Variability of the human aggregation response of normal platelets to AVP
Pencheva, N. ; Barth, Tomislav ; Barthová, J. ; Penev, M. ; Mladenova, A.
It was found that the sensitivity and the pattern of AVP-induced aggregation depends on the anticoagulant tested, there is significant difference in the aggregation response to AVP between males and females in citrated PRP and thus the platelet receptors could be a useful model system for testing vascular (V1) receptors for AVP.
Synthesis of the bis-cystinyl fragment 225-232/225'-232' of the human IgGl hinge region
Niederhafner, Petr ; Šafařík, Martin ; Hlaváček, Jan
Hinge peptide was prepared using soluble polyethylene glycol (PEG) as a carrier and Boc strategy. We analyzed the peptide by CD.
Binding sites for oostatic peptides in organs of fly .I.Neobellieria bullata./I..
Nazarov, Elšan ; Holík, Josef ; Tykva, Richard ; Hlaváček, Jan ; Bennettová, Blanka ; Slaninová, Jiřina
Using tritiated peptides Asp-Pro, Tyr-Asp-Pro-Ala, Tyr-Asp-Pro-Ala-Pro binding experiments with homogentates on membrane preparations of ovaries were performed. Very low degree of specific binding was detected.
Fluorescent fragments of oxytocin, vasopressin and dDAVP
Maixnerová, Jana ; Klasová, Lenka ; Barthová, J. ; Barth, Tomislav ; Kašička, Václav
Ornithin derivatives of neurohypophyseal hormone fragments 4-9 were synthesized and labeled by 7-chloro-4-nitrobenz-2-oxa-1,3-diazole (NBD-Cl).
Separation of phosphinic pseudopeptide diastereomers by CZE and RP-HPLC
Koval, Dušan ; Kašička, Václav ; Jiráček, Jiří ; Collinsová, Michaela
Capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) and reverse phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) were used for separation of diastereomers of phosphinic pseudopeptides. The migration order in CZE with their elution order in RP-HPLC was compared.
