Hanusová, Barbora ; Malý, Josef (advisor) ; Kolmanová, Eliška (referee)
Measuring adherence in patients with oral targeted therapy in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia Author: Barbora Hanusová Tutor: doc. PharmDr. Josef Malý, Ph.D. Consultant: PharmDr. Petra Rozsívalová Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Charles University Introduction and aims: Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) is a hematological disorder characterized by clonal proliferation of mature B-cells. New oral targeted drugs have been used in clinical practice to treat CLL. The aim of this thesis was to measure adherence to oral targeted drugs, analyze pharmacotherapy and identify drug-related problems (DRP) and their management. Methods: The cross-sectional pilot study ran from September 2022 to March 2023 in University Hospital Hradec Králové. Patients ≥ 18 years old, with CLL diagnosis treated with ibrutinib, acalabrutinib or venetoclax were included. Medical data and pharmacotherapy were obtained using electronic medical records and patients' medication records. Guided interviews were performed to measure patients' adherence to oral targeted oncolytics using Czech version of The Basel Assessment of Adherence to Immunosuppressive Medications Scale (BAASIS-CZ) and determine their opinions about medicine using Czech translation of The Beliefs about Medicines...
Reaction of protein with nitric acid as a topic for an inquiry-based activity
Hanušová, Barbora ; Kolář, Karel (advisor) ; Bílek, Martin (referee)
The teaching experiment has an indispensable role in teaching. The object of investigation of this thesis is to study the interaction of nitric acid with proteins. The course of the reaction is motivating and inspiring for pupils and students due to the observable changes that occur. The course of the reaction involves asking several questions. In order to answer them, the student must explain the nature of the reactions. A bioorganic model based on simple reactions carried out on a dot-plate is sufficient to explain the reaction process. The main motivation for this activity was to enrich the existing range of simple teaching experiments in organic chemistry and biochemistry with an experiment using exploratory methods in the context of bioorganic models. KEYWORDS nitric acid, proteins, xanthoprotein reaction, school experiment

Title: Case report of physiotherapeutic care about patient with diagnosis after Meningoencephalitis. Summary: This thesis consists of two parts - a general part and a special part. The general part summarizes theoretical basis of the disease. It explains the term of meningoencephalitis and represents its epidemiology and etiopatogenesis, clinical marks, possible complications of the disease, its diagnostics and cure. The special part contains case report of physiotherapy care for a patient after meningoencephalitis. The case report consists of initial musculoskeletal assessment of the patient, performance of the therapeutic units and assessment of the effectiveness of the therapy. Case report was worked out on the rehabilitation clinic Na Malvazinkách in Prague at the time of continuous bachelor's practice. Women in Reformation
Hanušová, Barbora ; Vlnas, Vít (advisor) ; Čornejová, Ivana (referee)
Women in Reformation The position of women developed throughout history. Religious reformation, which took place in the early 16th century in the German speaking countries and hundred years earlier in the Czech Kingdom, was one of the movements which changed radically the position of women in the society. First, the religious leaders beginning with Martin Luther changed the clerical view which saw women as incompetent, incomplete and sinful beings into one of respect to the gender and its specifics and to the biological role played by women - motherhood. As a result, women were respected in the society as wives and mothers; nobody wrote preaching about them being danger to men anymore. But with the attack on the monasteries women were deprived of the only way for higher education and independence offered to them in these institutions. The Czech reformation never fully changed its view on marriage. Celibacy and virginity were still considered better ways to salvation then marriage and especially its consummation. In the end both Utraquists and the Unity of Brethren accepted Luther's view on marriage, especially the marriage of priests, but never fully. They tended to see celibacy as the better although for most people impossible way. But the position of women in these branches of Czech reformation was...
The effect of flat feet on the stability of the ankle joint of floorball players
Hanušová, Barbora ; Stupková, Michaela (referee)
Title: The effect of flat feet on the stability of the ankle joint of floorball players. Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to determine whether a flat feet has any effects on the floorball players' ankle joint stability. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the chronic ankle instability, other leg pathologies and on the options of therapeutic interventions. Eventually, the thesis provides summary and output data for physiotherapist, sport couches and the examined players. Methods: First a literature study was conducted to establish a theoretical framework. Based on the feature/aspect examination of longitudinal foot arching and an initial questionnaire 10 particular subjects aged 22 to 29 were selected, all of them form the TJ Tatran Střešovice team. The subjects were divided in 2 groups - with longitudinal flat feet and without longitudinal flat feet pathology. The examined subjects were scored with negative points according to occurrence of any pathologies. Both groups were also benchmarked in the Star Excursion Balance Test that determined feet dynamic stability index. Results: The examination proved that flat feet affects the stability of the ankle joint as the subjects of the group without longitudinal flat feet scored results that were 31% better than results of the subjects with...

Vávrová Hanušová, Barbora ; Záruba, František (advisor) ; Šmied, Miroslav (referee)
The form of Karlstejn Castle at the time of Charles IV. Diploma thesis "The form of Karlstejn Castle at the time of Charles IV." deals at first with historical reports not only about the foundation of the castle itself but also about additional events during the life of Charles IV. These events are put in context of the construction form of the castle. The main part of this text is focused on the comprehensive description of the building taking into account previous research and construction plans. Then its construction form is compared with other castles founded by Charles IV. In particular castles Kasperk, Radyne, Karlshaus and Lauf an der Pegnitz are studied in detail. Since in general, castles in the 14th century served primarily residential purposes, this thesis also mentions Karlstejn's indoor arrangements and such building components as heating systems, windows, etc.
