3D Printed Microfluidic Cell for Spectroelectrochemical Analysis

Recent advances in fused deposition modeling 3D printing (FDM 3DP) enabled \nthe manufacture of customized spectroelectrochemical (SEC) devices. Despite significant progress, \nreported designs still rely on conventional optical components (windows and cuvettes). In this \nwork, we apply bi-material FDM 3DP combining electrically conductive and optically \ntranslucent filaments to manufacture a fully integrated microfluidic SEC device. Employing cyclic \nvoltammetric measurements with redox probes, we demonstrate that the platform allows SEC sensing of \nreactants, intermediates, and products of charge transfer reactions in an oxygen- free \nenvironment. Developed approaches pave the way for SEC d vices with dramatically\nreduced costs compared to currently available commercial platforms.\n

The subject of this bachelor thesis is evaluation of the influence of sludge lagoon K1 - Dolní Rožínka on various parts of the environment. The thesis summarizes scientific literature focused on legislation, uranium extraction and water environment. In bachelor thesis is characterized the area of interest, bodies of water in the Rožná 1 area and water treatment technologies. The thesis also describes various stages in the remediation and restoration of the sludge lagoon K1 contributing to close down of the entire sludge lagoon. In the practical part are processed data from the river Nedvědička and chemical treatment. The main objective is to analyse the influence of the discharged treated water from chem-ical treatment on the water quality in the river Nedvědička. Another objective is the assessment of the impact of uranium extraction on the air quality and landscape character with a proposal of possible changes to improve the condition.
A Draft of a Corporate Financial Plan

This master’s will deal with the draft of the financial plan for the selected company. The first part of the thesis sets out the theoretical basis of financial planning. It follows an introduction of the company and analysis of its current state. Based on the analysis, a financial plan for the years 2017 – 2019 is designed. The financial plan is then evaluated.

Evaluation of the Financial Situation of the Selected Corporation

The bachelor thesis analyses the financial situation in a selected company. The theoretical part characterises the determinants used in the analysis. Furthermore, it describes and explains methods of financial analysis. The practical part applies the methods to the selected company. It draws conclusions and proposes ways of improvement on the basis of the results obtained by the analysis. The implementation of the proposals should lead to the improvement of the company’s financial situation as well as increase its financial stability.
Infrared magneto-spectroscopy of the Rashba-type semiconductors

Optická odezva BiTeX (X = I, Cl, Br) polovodičových materiálů s obřím spinovým štěpením Rashbova typu je studována za nízkých teplot do vysokých magnetických polí, kde je směr magnetické indukce kolmý na povrch vzorku (Faradayova konfigurace). Na rozdíl od reflexního uspořádání nám transmisní uspořádání umožňuje přímé pozorování přechodů mezi Landauovými hladinami v blízkosti křižiště vodivostních pásů - Diracův bod. Optická odezva BiTeX sloučenin je srovnána s teoretickým modelem spočteným v rámci Kubo-Greenwoodova formalismu z Rashbova hamiltonianu.

The aim of the diploma thesis was to design new campus at Hradiste St. Hyppolita in Znojmo. At present, a part of this area is owned by the Foundation of St. Hyppolita, which is an organization engaged in archaeological research in this area. Thus, the main idea was to create a new campus, which should be used not only for research, but also for the presentation of the discovered artifacts and, last but not least, as a popular tourist activity. Furthemore, it was required that the new campus completes the existing urban structure of the village and creates new conditions for the its development, which is considered as out of order and economically disadvantageous territory now. The result was overall redevelopment of the part of village. There were placed the objects such the museum, the research institute, the Foundation's headquarters and the commercial accommodation with catering possibility. Urban design responds to the current and the historical context and thanks to the involvement of many significant green elements, there was created a quiet public place too.
Design of the new type of thermal atomic source for oxygen atoms

Ultrathin oxid layers (especially high-k layers) are studied and fabricated by using atomic oxygen sources. These high-k ultrathin layers are integrated into CMOS transistors and DRAM capacitors. In this thesis theory of atomic oxygen beams and ways of theirs creation is summarized. On the basis of the obtained knowledge the engineering design of a unique type of the thermal atomic oxygen source is created. The design was tested by simple experiments. The 3D model and complete engineering drawings are included.
