Analytical part is using the selected methods to analyze internal and external business environment. There are formulated recommendations based on analysis in the final part of thesis. Marketing of brands - Ice Hockey World Championship 2015

The bachelor thesis named Marketing of brands - Ice Hockey World Championship 2015 is focused on the description of communication and marketing activities of brands which were connected as official sponsors and official partners with the Ice Hockey World Championship 2015 held in the Czech Republic. The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical one concentrates on description of sport marketing and sponsoring, it also describes marketing activities of brands used by companies in their campaigns. The practical part is focused on the Ice Hockey World Championship 2015. The structure of the sponsorship related to the championship is explained, the categorization of the sponsors (main official sponsor, official sponsor and official partner) is described and all the official sponsors and partners of the championship are listed along with an outline of the rules they had to follow and the advantages and the rights they had. The description of the communication and marketing activities of selected official sponsors and partners of the championship follows. In this part of the thesis, the theoretical knowledge described at the beginning is applied in practice. The thesis also focuses on the problem of ambush marketing connected with the championship. Michal Kulich, Ph.D. Abstract: In this thesis we present methods of parameter estimation under two-phase stratified and cluster sampling. In contrast to classical sampling theory, we do not deal with finite population parameters, but focus on model parameter inference, where the ob- servations in a population are considered to be realisations of a random variable. However, we consider the sampling schemes used, and thus we incorporate much of survey sampling theory. Therefore, the presented methods of the parameter estimation can be understood as a combination of the two approaches. For both sampling schemes, we deal with the concept where the population is considered to be the first-phase sample, from which a sub- sample is drawn in the second phase. The target variable is then observed only for the subsampled subjects. We present the mean value estimation, including the statistical prop- erties of the estimator, and show how this estimation can be improved if some auxiliary information, correlated with the target variable, is observed for the whole population. Poland in the news of the Czech News Agency and the Czech Television with the focus on governmental reforms in 2015 - 2018

The diploma thesis analyses news coverage of some of the most important reforms conducted by the Polish conservative government. It focuses on public media services: Czech News Agency and the main news, Události, of the Czech Television, and the time period of years 2015 - 2018. The work consists of two parts. Theoretical part zeroes in on the description of theoretical concepts, general description of mentioned public media services and their foreign news coverage, particular types of agency and TV news. Separate chapter summarizes the differences between the Czech News Agency and the Czech Television, their purpose and news production itself. Another chapter concentrates on Poland - its political system and historical background of the last decades. The current situation in the country since 2015 is also outlined - the results of the last elections, current government and its reforms and intended changes. The reform of justice, reform of media and a plan to almost ban the abortions are described in details. These three reforms are the bases of Author's analysis. The practical part describes in detail results of both quantitative and qualitative methods chosen for this work.
