The position of Austria in the international tourism market

Diploma thesis focuses on the position of Austria as a tourism destination on the international tourism market. First chapter defines the basic theoretical terms. Second chapter includes the elemental characteristics of the territory, presents the macroeconomic indicators and the position of tourism in the national economy. Third chapter introduces the tourism analysis of Austria. This chapter summarizes the main preconditions for tourism and the analysis of incoming, outgoing and domestic tourism. The end of this chapter contains also the destination's SWOT analysis. Fourth chapter focuses on the country's competitiveness in comparison to the Alpine states and bases on the rankings and results in the TTCI and GCI indexes. Fifth chapter takes a closer look at the destination's potential for Czech customers. This chapter is based on a questionnaire survey. Last chapter contains the summaries of main Austrian tourism trends, evaluates tourism position in the economy and based on regression analysis presents the prediction of destination's tourism turnout by foreign visitors.
Film production and its use in promoting the Czech Republic among residents

This diploma thesis analyzes the development potential of film tourism for the domestic tourism of the Czech Republic. The aim is to determine whether the Czech Republic is perceived by residents as an attractive tourist destination for leisure or vacation and if they would be interested in film tourism products. The introductory chapter is devoted to the definition of basic concepts relating to tourism and destination marketing. The second theoretical part pays attention to film tourism and its characterization, including the definition of the concept, history of the development of film tourism, typology of film tourists and a description of its forms and products. Closely are described the possibilites of using the film as a destination marketing tool in the different life stages of the film (before, during and after filming) and the function of individual institutions dedicated to the promotion of film regions in the country. The practical part analyzes the development potential of film tourism in the Czech Republic, which is based on the analysis of secondary sources and a survey among residents. The attention is payed to the popularity of czech film production, the current state of the domestic tourism and to the offer of film tourism products in the Czech Republic. The last chapter is devoted to the proposal of a solution of film tourism product for a selected destination of the Czech Republic - Usti Region.
Tourism in Belgium, related to the Czech republic

The aim of the master thesis is to introduce Belgium as a tourist destination. The work is devided into 6 chapters giving the basic information about Belgium, describing its prerequisites and conditions for the development of the tourism and covering the relation between Belgium and the Czech republic. The responses of the questionnaire about the interest in mutual tourism are included. The last chapter presents the analysis of tourism in Belgium, also related to the Czech Republic.
Analysis of consumer behavior of Czechs in the cruise segment and its use in the creation of a marketing strategy of travel agency

This thesis deals with the research of consumer behavior and specifics of buyer decision-making process of Czechs during booking of their foreign holidays and methodology of market segmentation in tourism, or in the segment of cruises. Analysis of current trends and determinants on the supply and demand helps to build a competitive marketing strategy emerging of travel agency in the segment of cruises.
The Analysis of the French Cuisine?Supply and Demand in Prague

The French culinary specialities are offered in the food and beverage facilities in many countries. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to characterize the French gastronomy and to analyse the French cuisine supply and demand in Prague. Firstly the current supply is analysed. The demand analysis finds out whether there is an interest in French cuisine. Then this question is answered -- Does the supply meet the demand? The conclusion and recommendations are made.
The analysis of the offer of tours to the Caribbean subregion provided by tour operators

The Bachelor's thesis aims to analyse and compare the offer of tours to selected destinations of the Caribbean subregion provided by Czech touroperators. The first chapter defines various terms related to this topic. The next part describes factors affecting tourism and specific conditions for development of tourism in the Caribbean subregion. The practical part aims to elaborate a complete analysis and a comparison of the offer provided by particular Czech tour operators. The thesis also includes evaluating the demand for tours and holidays to the Caribbean represented by Czech clientel and its preferences when choosing a tour or holiday to an exotic destination.
Potential of Brazilian Tourism Market in Relation to the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with the Brazilian tourism market in relation to the Czech Republic with a focus on gay clientele. In the first part, the prerequisites for the development of tourism in the destination are analysed; the author assesses the selective, location and realization factors. The next chapter focuses on the characteristics of Brazilian outgoing tourism - both generally and in relation to the Czech Republic. A part of this chapter deals with the incoming tourism and the organization of tourism in Brazil. The author then compares package tours of Czech travel agencis to Brazil. The last chapter is devoted to the characteristics of gay tourism. The author assess the situation of the gay community in the Czech Republic and Brazil, and characterizes the prerequisites for the development of this form of tourism in both countries. The thesis ends with a structured interview with the author of PinkGo, the new project of ESO travel agency.
Analysis of India´s Tourism in relation to the Czech Republic

The goal of this work is to give an overview about the conditions surrounding travel industry in India. The first chapter defines the academical framework, the second chapter introduces India as a travel destination and also introduces basic information about the country. The analysis of the conditions itself begins in the third chapter and is followed in the fourth by insight into the current status quo. The fifth chapter consists of the analysis of travel possibilities to India and the last chapter concludes the work with a study conducted among Czech respondents, which was focused on their views of India as a travel destination.
Health oriented tourism

This Bachelor's Thesis is focused on health oriented tourism, as a relatively new form of tourism, which has been experiencing big boom in recent years. The first part of the thesis is concerned with a theoretical definition of particular terms (e.g. medical tourism, medical tourist), from the English terminology's point of view as well. In the following part major destinations of medical tourism, their offer are analysed. The thesis continues with medical tourism of the Czech Republic. The practical part of the thesis consists of the questionnaire carried out among the clients of some selected clinics in Prague.
Marketing Communication Of The Selected Hotels At The Time Of The Global Crisis (Recession)

The final thesis compares the changes of the marketing communication among the specific hotels during the global recession. The analysis results in the dominanat usage of the electronical media and the internet, rather than changes of the marketing communication instruments,becasue of their advantage of the measurable effects.
