MUDr. Yvona Angerová, Ph.D., MBA Thesis Title: Physiotherapy after surgery for upper limb spastic dystonia in patients after brain damage Abstract This bachelor's thesis overviews surgical treatment for upper limb spastic dystonia and subsequent post-operative physiotherapy. The thesis consists of two sections, theoretical and practical. Theoretical part describes upper motor neuron syndrome and definitions of two relevant symptoms, which are spasticity and spastic dystonia. This section also contains quantitative estimation methods for spasticity and spastic paresis. This is followed by description of surgical procedures classified based on different upper limb segments. Finally, physiotherapeutic techniques recommended after these surgical procedures are described. Practical section consists of description of two case reports, in which the brain injury led to spastic dystonia that was treated by surgery of upper limb. Each case contains past medical history, entrance and exit kinesiological analyses, functional examination of upper limb using modified Frenchay arm test and physiotherapeutic sessions reports. Ivan Bureš as a translator of Roman poetry

The bachelor thesis deals with the translations of Ivan Bureš (1886-1947) from Roman poetry. It places Bureš's work in context of the contemporary translating from Latin into Czech and presents his own reflection as a translator. Based on the analysis of Bureš's translations, it analyzes his translation method, especially in relation to contemporary criticism and his own theoretical principles. The thesis focuses on the development of Bureš's translation method by both comparison of different editions of the same work and comparison of the procedures used in the translations of different works. The results of the analyzes are confronted with the generally widespread opinion, given in literary dictionaries, that Bureš revised his method of translation after the criticism and came closer to the conservative tradition.

Interactive books pro preschool children - benefits and risks

1 ABSTRACT This diploma thesis deals with interactive book for preschool children and their benefits and risks. In the theoretical part it is discuss the definition of interaction and interactive book, and its brief history. It provides a overview of the categories of interactive books available in internal bookstores. Finally it is put into context of interactive book characteristics of a pre- school child (developmental specifics, reading literacy, relationship to a book, the role of an adult). The research part of this work examines by method of content analysis of texts of two international empirical studies and questionnaire research between parents and teachers. Results show the benefits and risks of an interactive book for preschool children. Among the most frequently cited benefits were the development of eye-hand coordination, speech, thinking, and fantasy development. Opposidly, the most frequently cited risks were the quality of the book, child's attention on the physical handling of moving parts rather than on the story, and the interconnection of the illustration / moving elements with the story of the book. Means of communication of The Motol University Hospital

This diploma thesis deals with means of communication of The Motol University Hospital. The objective is to find out, which means of communication the hospital uses for communication with patients and hospital visitors and which are used for communication with its employees. Next I describe them and find out, which means of communication suit these two groups, which don't and where is the room for improvement. The questionnaire survey was used to find out the preferences of means of communication, which I realized in The Motol University Hospital. The work includes research findings and recommendations resulting from their foundations.
