Tato diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem stavitelného stabilizátoru za účelem vyvažování letounu a zlepšení jeho letových výkonů. Cílem práce bylo navrhnout konstrukční řešení ovládání a zavěšení horizontálního stabilizátoru. Součástí je pevnostní výpočet kritických konstrukčních prvků a návrh letových zkoušek. V závěru jsou zhodnoceny výhody a nevýhody nového řešení a posouzení možnosti sériové výroby. Abstract This thesis describes the design of adjustable stabilizer for the purpose of balancing the aircraft and improve its flight performance. The aim was to propose a design solution for control and hinge system of horizontal stabilizer. It includes the strength calculation of critical structural components and the design of flight tests. The conclusion evaluates the pros and cons of the new solutions and possibilities of mass production.

CONDITIONS AND OBSTACLES IN FLEXIBLE JOBS CREATION

This work aims to identify key conditions that regulate the creations of flexible job positions in Czech Republic. Based on analytical framework, arising from analytical, theoretical approaches and values are selected and interpreted essential and less essential regulations. Legal measures are then critically interpreted in the sense of the obstacles and conditions, they provide for both, employees and employers in the meaning of flexible job creation. For more, a number of expert interviews were conducted with employers, for additional identification of significant problems faced by the employers themselves, and also for a number of suggestions towards reduction of complications associated with mentioned creation of flexible job positions.

1 Liability for defective prospectus Abstract The aim of my thesis is to provide a paper that discusses the overall consequences of an issuer who, in connection with public offer of securities or their admission to the trading on regulated market, provide and make public a defective prospectus that contains untrue, incomplete and misleading information. The thesis does not deal with all aspects of the laws of prospectus. Instead, it focus on particular issues in relation to the prospectus. Mainly, it deals with civil liability arising out of the defective prospectus. As a consequence, the other sanctions, eg. administrative or criminal, are not included in the thesis. In my thesis, I consider prospectus as an informative document that ought to provide certain information in order to protect investors. These information must not be untrue, incomplete or misleading so that the high standard of protection to investors is preserved. High standard of investors protection include, inter alia, higher liability attached to a prospectus. Legal regulations governing civil liability attached to a prospectus are not harmonized on the EU level. Self-employed - burden of national budget or an opportunity for unemployed?

This thesis focuses on the dilemma of self-employment. It tries to explore the relationship between self-employed people and public finances in general. The goal itself is an analysis of the relationship between public budgets and payments of the self-employed. But for more the thesis adds calculations of two hypothetic models of regulation and deregulation. Secondary goal is an evaluation of a self- employment status as solution for unemployment. Rational choice theory and prospect theory are also used along the way. As methods of research, the cost-benefit analysis and questionnaire survey was used. According to the outcomes of calculations etc. the result seems to be negative in economic way for current setup of payments with dominant loss of potential financial resources in retirement funds. Nevertheless, a number of savings also takes place. But even mentioned savings can't cover the discrepancy between potential incomes and real ones.

The protection of investments by holding groups and the role of the institution of corporate veil in case-law

The current thesis focuses its attention on the arena of international investment protection. Using available case-law, it aims at answering the question as to in what way the nationality of an investor is being determined under international law - in particular in arbitration. Moreover, it aims at determining the impact a chaining of investors from different states into a holding structure potentially has on the arbiters' view when determining an investor's (or an investment's) nationality. The objective of this thesis is to determine to what extend the institution of corporate veil influences the nationality of persons participating on above described holding structures, in terms of how these are viewed in international arbitration and to what extend piercing a corporate veil exists in the arbitral case law. The dissertation is divided into several chapters which, although relatively independent interrelate in the covered subject matter with one another as follows: The first chapter's objective is to introduce the reader into the arena of investment protection and to provide him/her with a historic overview and discussion of international law. Flood control measures and floods in the Svrčovec village the Úhlava watercourse

This thesis deals with the issue of flood and flood-protection measures from the perspective of map development describing the dangers and risks of flooding. This thesis focuses on the sector of flood-protection prevention and measures related to flooding protection. Basic terminology related to this sector has been explained as well as the use of hydrodynamic models in specific locations. The thesis includes the charting, description and assessment of flood-protection measures in the municipality of Svrcovec by using a specific computer model as well as experience from the 2002 floods. Another part of the thesis includes the characteristics and charting of 4th order flooding in the location in question due to its disposition to dangerous surface runoff (overland flow) at times of extreme torrential rain. A fundamental aim of this thesis is an analysis of damages to property in the year 2002 in comparison to the potential damages and costs of the construction of the above-described measures. This section assesses the affectivity of the construction of the above-described measures. My personal opinion of any other options in the protection from floods is found in the conclusion of the thesis.
