Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou povodní a protipovodňových opatření z pohledu tvorby map povodňových nebezpečí a rizik. Práce se situuje na část protipovodňové prevence a opatření souvisejícími s ochranou před povodněmi. Následně jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy týkající se této oblasti, dále využití hydrodynamických modelů v konkrétní oblasti. V práci jsou zmapována, popsána, zhodnocena protipovodňová opatření v zájmové lokalitě v obci Svrčovec, která byla navržena s využitím konkrétního počítačového modelu a zkušeností z povodně v roce 2002. Další část práce se týká charakteristiky a zmapování povodí 4. řádu v dané oblasti z důvodu náchylnosti k nebezpečnému povrchovému odtoku vznikajícího v důsledku extrémních přívalových dešťů. Podstatným cílem práce je analýza škod na majetku vzniklých v roce 2002 s porovnáním k stanoveným potenciálním škodám a nákladům na stavbu provedených opatření. Tato část hodnotí především efektivitu výstavby navržených opatření. Závěr práce se vztahuje na návrh jiné varianty opatření na ochranu před povodněmi dle vlastního názoru. This thesis deals with the issue of flood and flood-protection measures from the perspective of map development describing the dangers and risks of flooding. This thesis focuses on the sector of flood-protection prevention and measures related to flooding protection. Basic terminology related to this sector has been explained as well as the use of hydrodynamic models in specific locations. The thesis includes the charting, description and assessment of flood-protection measures in the municipality of Svrcovec by using a specific computer model as well as experience from the 2002 floods. Another part of the thesis includes the characteristics and charting of 4th order flooding in the location in question due to its disposition to dangerous surface runoff (overland flow) at times of extreme torrential rain. A fundamental aim of this thesis is an analysis of damages to property in the year 2002 in comparison to the potential damages and costs of the construction of the above-described measures. This section assesses the affectivity of the construction of the above-described measures. My personal opinion of any other options in the protection from floods is found in the conclusion of the thesis.
