Using the Unity game engine
Dundálek, Martin ; Lang, Stanislav (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
In this bachelor's thesis, the concept of a game engine will be discussed, a brief history of game engines will be described and the reader will be introduced to game engines used by companies developing video games that are not available to the public ("in-house" engines). In the second part of the work, a program solution to the mechanics of the game will be written, an introduction and a brief description of the 3D modeling program Blender, which the author used to create models for the game, an introduction and a brief description of the environment of the Unity engine itself, and the conclusion will deal with the Heaven Square Station game created by the author.
Optimization of CNC milling machine axis movement
Blaško, Dávid ; Lang, Stanislav (referee) ; Poliščuk, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to analyze current state of the device, which is robotized CNC milling machine OPTIMUM BF20L, driven by B&R Automation hardware. The theoretical part describes the possibilities of a machine construction and its elements related to the machine’s movement, possibilities of generating a tool path for CNC, their usage and associated advantages and disadvantages. The goal of the study was to improve the dynamic characteristics of axis movement, and the resulting tool movement during its transitions and rounding, considering the clearance in machine design and its components.
Control of the MyCobot 280-PI robot using Siemens PLC
Plachý, Filip ; Parák, Roman (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the design and creation of communication between an industrial PLC Siemens 1511-C and a non-industrial 6-axis robot MyCobot 280-PI. The practical output is a fully functional setup of the robot and PLC with a program. The robot can be controlled using the Siemens TP700 touch panel. The work describes all the steps of the implementation, from the selection of components, software implementation and testing. It also includes a theoretical introduction to the relevant topics, particularly industrial control systems and robotics.
Cellular automata and rules defined using genetic algorithm
Goliáš, Darek ; Lang, Stanislav (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis explores the integration of cellular automata (CA) and genetic algorithms (GA). It briefly outlines the history and principles of CA and GA, including their key components. The theoretical part covers various types of CA, their classification, boundary conditions, and examples of applications. Additionally, it describes genetic algorithms, their representation of population, selection, crossover, and mutation. The practical part involves the design and implementation of a two-dimensional CA with a rule generation system using GA.
Modeling of machinery in Matlab/Simulink and Simscape
Moravanský, Lukáš ; Poliščuk, Radek (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the development of a digital twin of the axis of the mould cylinder of a flexographic printing machine for SOMA using MATLAB/Simscape software. Theoretical foundations and concentrated parameter methods were used to develop and validate the physical model, with the main focus on the accuracy of the match with the real system in terms of resonances and aniresonances. A graphical user interface (GUI) was developed to allow easy modification and testing of the model. The work demonstrates the benefits of linking MATLAB tools for developing physics models and provides a basis for future model modifications and extensions.
Connecting RTOS with GPOS in industrial use
Thér, Tomáš ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
This thesis explores the integration of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and general-purpose operating systems (GPOS) in industrial automation. RTOS are crucial for deterministic control of critical processes, while GPOS offer a wide range of tools. The thesis focuses on the exOS product from B&R, detailing its features, installation, and development tools. Finally a model application is created, implementing a database for a plasma cutter in a real industrial project.
Robotic table football - optimization of image processing of the playing area
Sijková, Simona ; Parák, Roman (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to optimize image processing of the playing area of B&R’s Automation robotic table soccer using intelligent vision system from Cognex. The introduction is devoted to a research of machine vision systems and vision systems made by Cognex company. It expounds on fundamentals necessary for system running and compares their pros and cons for different applications. Procedures, changes and solutions of problems which lead to final optimization in In-Sight explorer program are shown in the second practical part. In the end of the bachelor thesis, the influence of illumination and the external environment on the ball detection is discussed.
PLC Control of Mobile Robotics Platform
Konečný, Michael ; Lang, Stanislav (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
The aim of this master's thesis was to create a design for a prototype of a mobile robotic platform and its physical fabrication. Another goal of this master's thesis was to develop a control algorithm and its implementation into a prototype. In addition, the thesis was extended by an autonomous motion mode, an algorithm for robot path planning, and the design of the Human Machine Interface (HMI). The introduction contains a description of some already created mobile robotic platforms, a presentation of the company B&R and the theory needed to understand omnidirectional mobility. The next chapters describe the design and construction of a prototype with a selection of electronic components and their wiring, implementation of an algorithm for robot path planning, implementation of a control algorithm and design, together with the implementation of the user environment. At the end of this master's thesis, the possibilities of extending the project to future years are described.
Implementation of PSD controller into microcontroler MCF52233
Lang, Stanislav ; Holek, Radovan (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of my bachelor thesis is the project and realization of a digital regulator, including the possibility of user’s settings. The first two chapters, which present a theory and a survey of the problem of digital regulation, offer an introduction as far as the used hardware (32-bit microcontroller M52233 from the company Freescale) is concerned. The main part of my thesis deals with the description of concrete implementation of regulation algorithms into the selected hardware as well as the communication with the regulation unit and the selection and basic configuration of the peripheral used.
Robotic table football - position detection of opponent
Otradovský, Radek ; Zuth, Daniel (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is design of the sensing device to detect the positions of the four independent human axes robotic table soccer and create an output program applicable to game strategy. In the introduction is comparison of previously developed solutions. Next part is the comparison and selection of appropriate sensors applicable to the design table. For specific solutions then select a suitable module for integration into the control system and then test the functionality of the system. Implementation part of the proposal includes the design of construction for detection and next includes all necessary upgrades in the construction of the machine ware to commissioning.
