Reinforced concrete road bridge
Koumar, Jan ; Panáček, Josef (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the design of a reinforced concrete road bridge with one span over the river Oskava in the village Unicov. The bridge will convert road II/449 category S 7.5 / 50. Two shape variants of the cross-section were designed, from which a slab with a trapezoidal cross-section and a considered span of the bridge of 14.00 m was selected for the design and assessment of the load-bearing structure. The internal forces from the applied load were calculated on a slab model in SCIA Engineer 18.1 and compared with a manual calculation on a bar model using the method of resistive widths. The load-bearing structure is dimensioned for the ultimate limit state and the serviceability limit state.
Multi-span single T-section girder bridge
Koumar, Jan ; Rušar, Jaromír (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The subject of this master thesis is the design and assessment of the load-bearing structure of a bridge that carries a Class I road. Two design options for the bridge were developed, from which a mutli-span prestressed single T-section girder with five spans was selected for detailed assessment for serviceability limit state and ultimate limit state. The superstructure is built on falsework. Particular emphasis is placed on a phased construction solution. The Midas Civil program is used to calculate the global load effects, where the model of the superstructure is a beam. Local assessments are carried out in SCIA Engineer. The calculation is made according to the valid European standards.
Ethical context of sexuality
Koumar, Jan ; Vávra, Martin (advisor) ; Šalanda, Bohuslav (referee)
This thesis deals with moral values of the individuals and their relation to their sexual behaviour. Its aim is not a study of the particular sexual acts, but rather of the moral ideas, which people associate with sexuality and of sources of those ideas. It determines no generally valid ethical principle, which could be followed in sexuality; its aim is to be a probe into the existing ideas of what is good or bad in sex and into the reasons for assessing any given sexual behaviour as good or bad. Furthermore it explores if and how the individuals perceive any change in the attitude of the society to sex and morality, and what is in the centre of their personal ethical concepts. The description of these ideas of good or bad, their sources and a perception of changes in the attitude of society to sexuality are based on the research conducted among citizens of the Czech Republic in 2016 with use of a qualitative strategy. The discovered moral concepts are presented as such they are not compared to any existing ethical system. The first and second chapter of this thesis present a theoretical explanation of morality, sexuality and a their mutual connection, the third chapter summarizes in brief the history of sexual morality explorations and describes the methodology of this above mentioned research,...
