The master’s thesis concerns with a theme of strengthening competitiveness of a travel agency, which makes tours to abroad. Theoretical part of the work includes knowledge about competitiveness and strengthening of the competitiveness. In practical part are knowledge used in a practice. The main part of the work is analysis of the travel agency and microeconomics and macroeconomics environment, which influences the company. These analysis are made because of raise proposal for strengthening competitiveness of the travel agency.

Financial Analysis

This diploma thesis is focused on financial analysis of the pharmacy. The main attention is paid to elementary methods, mainly to analysis of balance, list of profits and loss, financial ratios and their systems. These methods are used for financial analysis of the pharmacy At the Lion. On the basis of findings, this diploma thesis includes proposals for improvement and evalutation of the contributions of these proposals for the company.

PLC Control of Mobile Robotics Platform

The aim of this master's thesis was to create a design for a prototype of a mobile robotic platform and its physical fabrication. Another goal of this master's thesis was to develop a control algorithm and its implementation into a prototype. In addition, the thesis was extended by an autonomous motion mode, an algorithm for robot path planning, and the design of the Human Machine Interface (HMI). The introduction contains a description of some already created mobile robotic platforms, a presentation of the company B&R and the theory needed to understand omnidirectional mobility. The next chapters describe the design and construction of a prototype with a selection of electronic components and their wiring, implementation of an algorithm for robot path planning, implementation of a control algorithm and design, together with the implementation of the user environment. At the end of this master's thesis, the possibilities of extending the project to future years are described.

Improvement of financial planning in trading company

The financial situation and financial economy could be controlled by a whole range of indicators in the time progress and context so that the evaluation of the situation may reflect the whole economic state of the company and enable to point out causes of the actual situation. If the company shall be economically succesful, the financial planning and analysis has to be a part of the complex of the company´s financial management, because it provides a feedback between the expected effect of managing decisions and present. This diploma work is focused on detection of weak and strong characteristics of the company. All datas used in analysis are taken from the public sources and internal company documentation. The point of my diploma thesis was to present a financial analysis containing my theoretical experience, which I gained during my study at the VUT.Brno.

Possibilities of investment financing are analysed with focus on the Structural funds of the European Union. The most effective way of investment financing is chosen with the help of cost benefit analysis and therefore own suggestions and recommendations are formulated.

The aim of the thesis is the application of financial analysis on the financial statements, and balance sheet and profit and loss in 2008-2010. The work is divided into three parts. The first part contains the theoretical background, selected methods of financial analysis. The second part is the application of selected methods for a specific company and the final section contains suggestions for improvement in problem areas.

Application of correlative AFM/SEM microscopy

This thesis is dealing with application of Correlative Probe and Electron Microscopy. All measurements were carried out by atomic force microscope LiteScope which is designed especially to be combined with electron microscopes. Advantages of Correlative AFM/SEM Microscopy are demonstrated on selected samples from field of nanotechnology and material science. Application of the correlative imaging was proposed and then realized particularly in case of low-dimensional structures and thin films. Further, this thesis deals with the possibility of combining Correlative AFM/SEM Microscopy with other integrated techniques of an electron microscope such as Focused Ion Beam and Energy Dispersive X-rays Spectroscopy.

Business Plan for Establishment of a Music Club

This bachelor´s thesis focuses on issues related to founding and further maintenance of a music club. Simultaneously, it serves as a groundwork for an actual founding of one. It contains proposals to solving crisis situations, as well as cases for optimistic, realistic and pessimistic courses of events. The result of this thesis is a conception of business with minimized probability of failure.
