The Influence of Information and Communication Technologies on Employee Adaptation, Education and Development

The diploma thesis aims to evaluate the benefits and disadvantages of the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the adaptation, education, and development of employees. First, the thesis will focus on the current development of personnel management in relation to the application of ICT. Furthermore, the thesis will deal with current trends related to the use of ICT in personnel management. The focus will be on ICT in the adaptation, education, and development of employees, as those are activities that are currently heavily influenced by ICT. This topic will end with an evaluation of the benefits and risks associated with the use of ICT in the activity. The thesis will also focus on the ethical aspects of the use of ICT in personnel management. The aim of the quantitative empirical survey will be to analyse the opinions of employees on ICT in adaptation, education, and development. The survey will be done in four IT organizations with more than one hundred employees based in the Czech Republic. The survey will compare the views of selected employees who joined during the COVID-19 Pandemic and employees who joined before COVID-19 Pandemic. Identifying the Functional Parameters of Work Organization in the Tertiary Sector in Relation to Current Social and Technological Developments

5 Abstract Bachelor thesis deals with a finding of organization of working process in tertiary sector in Czech Republic, which will able an innovative organization of work corresponding to social and technological development. The goal of the thesis is to identify functional combinations of parameters of work organization, on which both, contractor and worker, will agree. At first, focus is put on tertiary sector, its functions and place at the labour market. Then social and technological development in field of labour market in Czech Republic after year 2000 is captured. After that the scope focuses on tertiary sector labour market's development in last twenty years. This chapter maps ongoing flexibility of the labour market and its changes in last two decades. It is also enhanced by labour market's changes due to a pandemic of Covid-19. Thesis also includes a quantitative questionnaire, which goal is to analyze opinions of selected contractors and executers of work on alternative forms of organization of work. The diploma thesis deals with the issue of adaptation process of foreign workers in clients of personnel agency services with a focus on Ukrainian employees, the diploma thesis futher specializes in cooperation of personnel agency with its clients of services to which the personnel agency places Ukrainian employees. The aim of the diploma thesis is to identify and analyze the course of adaptation process of Ukrainian employees in clients of personnel agency services, to create own system of adaptation process of Ukrainian employees taking into account legislative, intercultural, psychological and management aspects in clients of personnel agency services and then compare it with real adaptation process of Ukrainian employees in the clients of the personnel agency ManpowerGroup s.r.o. Harmonization of Work and Family Life of Managers-Mothers

5 Abstract This Bachelor thesis examines the steps the Czech state and employers take to harmonize work-life balance of female parents. The state plays many important roles - it acts as a childcare provider and family policy originator in the Czech Republic, sets the duration of the parental leave and the amount of the parental leave allowance, and also has a significant impact on work-life balance of female parents. This thesis concentrates on options the employers have at their disposal to harmonize the work-life balance of female parents and deals with work-life balance and equal opportunities issues using a quantitative survey carried out by means of a questionnaire sent to female parents in manager roles working in Prague. The purpose of this survey was to identify the means these female parents use to harmonize their work-life balance, to determine which family policy measures offered by the state they choose, and to specify the tools provided by their employers. Trends in Recruiting and Selecting of Software Developers

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of acquisition and selection of software developers with an emphasis on current trends in this area. With regard to demand of labour market for software developers, HR professionals are required to take an innovative approach in their acquisition and selection. The personnel officers are also expected to have a basic orientation in technical terms and an overview of used technologies. The aim of this thesis is to identify significant changes in the acquisition and selection of software developers with an emphasis on current trends. The thesis presents the specifics of work in the software development industry, the position of the software developer within the ICT professions system, the category of software developers or the competency model of a software development worker. The theoretical sources are mainly current foreign articles. The thesis is supplemented by its own empirical survey, which verifies the experience of software developers with the application of the latest trends in the process of recruitment and selection of employers in the Czech Republic.

The diploma thesis is dealing with the monitoring of quality of beef meat during the process of ageing. In the literary overview the terms beef meat and quality are defined, the consumption of beef meat is stated and the composition and attributes of the beef meat are described. The list of factors that influence the quality of beef meat follows. The factors are divided into intravital and postmortal. The postmortal processes are described more thoroughly; the possibilities and consequences of their abnormal progress and other quality defects are added. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to the comparison of chosen parameters of heifer meat (n = 6) of the Aberdeen Angus breed (AA) and Czech Fleckvieh breed (CS). In the cut-out parts Musculus longissimus dorsi (NR) and Musculus adductores (SŠ) the parameters of pH, electrical conductivity and color were observed for eight weeks of aging in the vacuum (1-2 °C). The color was measured spectrofometrically with the application of the CIELAB color space.

This bachelor thesis is focused on characteristics of factors that influence quality of beef. On the fist part of literary section there are defined terms like meat quality and beef, followed basic characteristics of the beef consumption development in the Czech Republic and the factors affecting it. In the middle part there are described intravital influences. In the first place there are included genetic effects, such as breed and sexes, breeding and following circumstances of pre-slaughter manipulation. This part ends by describtion of slaughter effect. Than are untroduced post-mortem effects include carcass processing and cold storage preservation. Subsequently are described post-mortem changes in meat complemented by possibility and consequences of their abnormal course. At the end there are included chapters about cutting and freezer storage of meat.
