The Woman in Black: Analysis of Horror Genre and Aspects Causing the Tension in Different Artistic Medias (Theatre, Cinematography)

Bachelor's thesis focuses on forms, demonstrations and aspects of horror genre in chosen artistic medias which are literature, theatre and film. As a method for investigation of diverse aspects and demonstrations of this genre was chosen a form of analysis of concrete art works that represent particular medias. The base of this thesis is a work of literature by writer Susan Hill The Woman in Black (1983), which inspired the pieces of art representing other two artistic medias: a theatre performance (2017) of the same name directed by Adam Doležal in the City Theatre in Kladno based on a theatre adaptation (1987) by Stephen Mallatratt and a movie adaptation (2012) of the same name directed by James Watkins based on a script (2012) by Jane Goldman. These analyses will be followed by comparison of their results, where the conclusion will try to offer the reader comparison and insight into the functioning of horror genre aspects in the chosen artistic medias. Cultural and craft traditions among contemporary inhabitants of Šumava

This bachelor thesis deals with cultural and craft traditions of Šumava. The main objective is to describe the traditions and crafts of this region today. In addition, also historical changes and cohesion with the Šumava region is captured. The thesis is divided in four chapters: Šumava, Crafts of Šumava, Šumava's traditions, and Traditions and Crafts at School. It also describes cooperation between the Museum of Šumava in Sušice and local elementary school and examines introduction of traditions to children during after-school activities. In all chapters, the basic concepts concerning this topic are determined.

Techmania - marketing analysis

This paper is about the first science center in the Czech Republic - Techmania. It was founded in November 2008 and during its first year of operation ranked with TOP 5 tourist attractions in Pilsen. Its objective is to become one of TOP 10 most visited places in the Czech republic. The aim of this paper was to analyse the marketing mix of Techmania and to compare it with its competitors.Another purpose was to search the information,think up and suggest recommendations and proposals how to improve the marketing communication and which marketing tools fit this new startegy the best.

The aim of this work was elaboration of known locations invasive liana Echinocystis lobata (Michx.) Torr. et A. Gray in Královéhradecký region, but completion of new locations from my own cross ? country research too. I have acquired 42 locations by literal excerption, three new locations by my own cross ? country research and next three locations by contacting several persons. Primary distribution area is in North America, but currently in the Czech Republic it takes place very fast, mainly off shores of rivers or brooks. From here this species is expanding to surroudings, first of all along water corse, on meadows and dust ? hole. I would like to show the reality how dangerous this species can be for natural habitats.

Tato práce popisuje a analyzuje jeden z nevýznamnější mezinárodních festivalů v oblasti cestovního ruchu-Tourfilm. Práce se zaměřuje na popis realizace a organizace festivalu, jeho fungování, propagaci a spolufinancování. Okrajově také nastiňuje bohatou historii festivalu a zdůvodňuje jeho zasazení do Karlových Varů. Analyzuje současnou situaci festivalu, trendy v jeho vývoji a také zodpovídá otázky týkající se jeho budoucnosti.
