Bakalářská práce se zabývá podobám, projevům a prvkům hororového žánru ve zvolených uměleckých médiích, kterými jsou literatura, divadlo a film. Ke zkoumání různorodých aspektů a projevů tohoto žánru byla zvolena forma analýzy konkrétních uměleckých děl reprezentujících jednotlivá média. Základem je literární předloha autorky Susan Hillové Žena v černém (1983), z níž následně vzešla díla reprezentující zvolená média: stejnojmenná divadelní inscenace (2017) v režii Adama Doležala z Městského divadla v Kladně, která byla vytvořena na základě divadelní adaptace (1987) Stephena Mallatratta a stejnojmenná filmová adaptace (2012) v režii Jamese Watkinse vytvořená na základě scénáře (2012) Jane Goldmanové. Následným porovnáním výsledků jednotlivých analýz se tato bakalářská práce pokusí nabídnout srovnání a vhled do fungování aspektů hororového žánru v těchto uměleckých médiích. As a method for investigation of diverse aspects and demonstrations of this genre was chosen a form of analysis of concrete art works that represent particular medias. The base of this thesis is a work of literature by writer Susan Hill The Woman in Black (1983), which inspired the pieces of art representing other two artistic medias: a theatre performance (2017) of the same name directed by Adam Doležal in the City Theatre in Kladno based on a theatre adaptation (1987) by Stephen Mallatratt and a movie adaptation (2012) of the same name directed by James Watkins based on a script (2012) by Jane Goldman. These analyses will be followed by comparison of their results, where the conclusion will try to offer the reader comparison and insight into the functioning of horror genre aspects in the chosen artistic medias.
