Bachelor´s thesis ,, Family House" is prepared in the form of project documentation. The building is designed to plots 790/17 and 792/1 in the village Horní Jasenka near Vsetín. Family House is located in the neighborhood of two already constructed houses. This is a family house with a basement and two floors with residential attic. The house is brick, completely covered with a basement and a gable roof with collar system.

This is a construction of a new family house. Building has two floors above ground and one below ground. This family house will be a permanent home for four people. Perimeter load-bearing walls are designed as monolithic and reinforced concrete walls made from thermal insulating concrete Liaver. Ceiling construction is made from reinforced concrete and one-sided reinforced plate and roof is flat and single-layered. Perimeter walls are made from exposed concrete or paneled with natural slate.

Load-carrying structure of the covered footbridge between buildings in schooling premises

The subject of this master’s thesis is to design the supporting steel structure covered pedestrian bridge between the learning area buildings A and D of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, street Veveří 95 in Brno. The construction is designed as a bridge rod spatial structure with two main girders. The girders are a combination Vierendeel girder and truss structure. The girders are connected at the level of the upper and lower band by a crosspiece. The horizontal stiffness of the upper and lower surface structure is ensured by bracing. The upper surface of the pedestrian bridge is horizontal in the longitudinal direction. The lower surface of the pedestrian bridge is curved in order to overcome the difference in height between buildings A and D. This solution is the result of comparison an evaluation of three alternative solutions.

The thesis is about a project of the family house in the municipal land registry of Vracov. The thesis contains project documentation, technical report and thermic-technical review. The project is solving a brickhouse on the basis of bricksystem Heluz which has two above-ground levels and the basement. The house has a flat one-covered roof, terrace and balcony. The house includes a garage for one car. The built-up area is 141,8 m2.The thesis can be helpful as a source of the building procedure.

Motivation of High School Students for School Work

Many secondary school teachers are currently facing students' lack of interest in the subjects taught. Research findings have also repeatedly shown that students' motivation for school work decreases as the length of the studies increases. Furthermore, students' level of motivation reaches a very low level during adolescence despite the fact that many of them make choices regarding their future careers. This thesis focuses on the relation between the motivation of students for school work and the attitudes and skills of teachers - their educational styles, and whether the relationship between students and them is positive or negative. The theoretical part of this paper introduces and describes the above mentioned concepts - educational styles and motivation - or more precisely, what kinds of motivation there are, and how these affect not only the learning process itself, but also the performance, results, and performance goals, all of which are closely linked. The practical part consists of a research investigation focused on verifying the link between students' motivation for school work and the educational styles used by their teachers.
