Speech therapy prevention from the perspective of the kindergarten director

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of speech therapy prevention from the perspective of the kindergarten director. In accordance with the aim of the thesis, it analyses the current situation and identifies the possibilities of support and risks in the field of speech therapy prevention in selected kindergartens. It studies the state and level of work in kidergartens in terms of ensuring cooperation with a special pedagogical center, a pedagogical-psychological counselling center, a clinical speech therapist and further education of pedagogical staff with a focus on speech therapy assistants. It also indicates the possibilities of obtaining financial resources for aids for children with speech disorders, for further education of teaching staff or for possible cooperation with a clinical speech therapist directly in the kindergarten. The thesis also mentions the grant programs offered by the Ministry of Education and Culture. It also outlines a possible procedure for changing or increasing the efficiency of speech therapy prevention and motivational methods for the active approach of teaching staff, which can be used by the kindergarten director. Senior education as a symbol of active ageing

The thesis focuses on the attitudes of seniors towards active ageing in the region of Kolín and explores their views on this issue in the context of education and leisure activities. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the concepts of old age and ageing with emphasis on the concept of active ageing and describes its impact on the life of seniors. It also highlights the importance of lifelong learning and education of older individuals. The empirical part uses qualitative research, specifically semi-structured interviews with a total of eight participants. The aim of the work was to ascertain how people in old age imagine active ageing and how they involve themselves in this process. It was found that for these people, active and healthy ageing is particularly associated with the need to maintain physical and mental activity. Furthermore, the motivation of the research participants to participate in activities related to active ageing was analysed. This is related to their interest in new information and the need for social interaction. This diploma thesis deals with the role of social andragogy in the prevention and possible solution of risky behavior with focus on risky addictive behavior. The thesis provides the reader with a compact insight into issue of addictive behavior, its development, complications, consequences and solutions. The aim of the work is to define the dangerousness and harmfulness of addictive substances, their devastating impact on the health and social status of an individual with an emphasis on the role of social andragogy. The theoretical part of the work introduces the problem of addiction as a whole, presents individual addictive substances available in the Czech Republic, divides them into individual categories, and introduces the reader to the history of the use of addictive substances. In the context of social andragogy, they will learn about the processes of socialization and resocialization, integration and reinteration, which play an important role in the prevention and solution of addictive behavior. Virtual University of the Third Age: a comparison of the Czech Republic and selected European Countries

The thesis will focus on third-age virtual universities located in the Czech Republic. These virtual universities and their teaching methods will be compared with third-age virtual universities in selected countries in Europe, namely virtual education for the older adults in the United Kingdom and France. In the theoretical part, the education of the older adults, including all related aspects of gerontagogy, will be described using appropriate literature. Furthermore, this section will explain the overall issue of virtual education for seniors, what the educational needs of this educational group are and why this form of teaching is suitable for the older population. Within the empirical part, research will be created using the scoping review method. The research will aim to identify, analyze and interpret the research problem and create a comprehensive concept of third-age virtual universities and compare their performance in the Czech Republic with that in selected European countries. Qualitative content analysis will be used for the analytical part. The main finding is that virtual education for seniors is a key component of their continuous development and social integration, as evidenced by the analysis of the situation in the Czech Republic, France, and the United Kingdom.
Media Literacy of Older Adults with a Focus on Fake News and their Recognition

The thesis focuses on the area of media literacy of the older adults. Media literacy of older adults relates to the current issue of fake news and their identification. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the preferences and media use of a group of older adults and to identify the ability of older adults to recognize fake news. A secondary aim of the research findings is to establish recommendations for practice, particularly in education of older adults. The thesis focuses on the periodization of old age and the definition of the term older adult. Furthermore, it focuses on the area of media literacy of older adults especially in relation to fake news. Key factors affecting media literacy of older adults, such as changes in cognitive functions or social life in old age, are reflected. Emphasis is placed on identifying the targets of fake news and the reasons for its dissemination. The thesis presents a definition of fake news and then discusses selected types of fake news, namely misinformation, misinformation, hoaxes and conspiracy theories. This thesis focuses on the education of seniors in modern technologies in the Luka nad Jihlavou municipality. In today's digitalized society, it is essential for the older generation to navigate modern technologies, which contributes to their better social integration and independence. A digitally literate individual knows how to use these technologies correctly and is aware of the potential risks associated with them. The goal of this work is to create an educational course for seniors that meets all the criteria for educational course creation and to verify its effectiveness through a questionnaire survey conducted before and after the course implementation. The topic of this diploma thesis is the education of seniors within the universities of the third age at Charles University in Prague from the perspective of lecturers. The thesis deals with key aspects of this topic, from a theoretical and as well practical point of view. The main goal is to understand the process of senior`s education and how it is perceived by the lecturers. The thesis describes their acquired experiences, the possibilities of developing the education of seniors and the perceived barriers in the education of this population at U3A as part of lifelong learning. The theoretical part of the thesis serves as a basic framework for understanding the issue of education for seniors. It uses professional literature to define key terms and concepts. The bachelor's thesis deals with the influence of the school principal on the further education of teaching staff. The main goal is to find out and evaluate what influence the school principal has on the further education of teaching staff. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical parts. The theoretical part defines the concept of a school principal, describes his/her functions and roles, and determines the competences of a primary school principal. It also deals with further education of teaching staff. The basic terms related to further education of teaching staff, legal anchoring and strategic documents related to the issue are clarified.
