Port of OptaPlanner on Android
David, Tomáš ; Rogalewicz, Adam (referee) ; Letko, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with portation of the OptaPlanner tool to the Android operating system. The OptaPlanner is used for solving planning problems and it is completely written in the Java programming language which is also used for application development of the Android operating system. However, Android does not contain all of the Java Standard Edition Application Programming Interface libraries and porting of OptaPlanner to Android thus causes dependency problems. The result of the thesis is solution design and implementation of the problems mentioned above and model Android Vehicle Routing Problem application which uses ported OptaPlanner tool.
Municipal Office Rapotín
David, Tomáš ; Daněk, Lukáš (referee) ; Utíkalová, Ivana (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the administrative building, which will serve as a municipal office in Rapotín. The building is designed as an extension to the existing cultural center Rapotín. The building structure is made as a masonry construction with ceiling construction of prestressed panels Spiroll. Single-layer flat roof is divided into two levels, the lower part is extensive green roof and the top of the roof is made such as usual flat roof. The building has two floors and partial basement coverage as well. The building is provided with four sheltered parking lots.
Sketching 3D Models
David, Tomáš ; Hulík, Rostislav (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
This thesis deals with the processing and representation of polygonal models. It is devoted to methods for creating and editing 3D models, especially the sketching method. It describes the procedure for design and implementation of a simple plug-in for application OpenFlipper. This plug-in allows creation of 3D model of object by drawing a closed line.
Analysis of Games and Films Inspired by Or Spin-Offs of The Godfather
DAVID, Tomáš
In this innovative study, the student will examine films and games which exhibit an intertextual relationship with the influential Godfather film series from the 1970s. Both games and films will be under study specifically applying theories of intertextuality which will be both presented and applied. The variety of genres approached will serve as an example of the ever expanding genres of texts worthy of rigorous academic investigation and analysis.
A Comparison of Mario Puzo's The Godfather with the Film Adaptations
DAVID, Tomáš
The student undertook an analysis of the varied aspects linked with The Godfather regarding plot, character presentation and dialogue, as well as aspects of the narrative less conducive to direct representation in the film productions. Then the student compared the three film adaptations with Puzo's text, comparing and contrasting the original novel with the three adaptations, referring to, among other aspects, how changes were adapted to issues pertaining to a cinematic audience and further developed by the renowned director and actors. The general consensus is that The Godfather I and The Godfather II, both winning academy awards, were vastly superior to The Godfather III. This comparison re-evaluates that perception.
Offer of movement activities for working females
David, Tomáš ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Švagrová, Klára (referee)
3 Abstract Title: Offer of Motion Activities for Employed Women Name and surname: Tomáš David Study branch: Physical Education and Sport Name of Supervisor: Prof. Ing. Václav Bunc, CSc. Aim of the thesis: To obtain information on motion programs for women and on rules for their projection, respecting time possibilities and hitherto motion experience. To highlight the most important rules that would lead to fulfilment of aims set by a woman. To be aware of real aims and to respect the long-term basis of such problems solutions. Methods used: The method used included recherché of specialised literature, completed with data from Internet resources. Based on the data obtained I try to summarise basic knowledge regarding given problems. Results and Conclusions of the Study: Based on available resources, there is confirmed the hypothesis that different sport activities are recommended for women, due to their different construction and structure of organism and some different problems, mainly in the post-childbirth period. There was also confirmed the hypothesis, that women have more reasons to practise sports compared to men, due to more significant fat deposits, due to problematic post- childbirth period and last but not least, to keep their beauty and freshness of their bodies as well as souls. There was also...
Geminal bis(phosphinates)
David, Tomáš ; Lukeš, Ivan (advisor) ; Grüner, Bohumír (referee) ; Růžička, Aleš (referee)
Slow complexation is one of the major limitations of current macrocyclic chela- tors utilized in nuclear medicine for complexation of metal radionuclides. This property can be improved by ligand design. Among metal radioisotopes, the copper ones (e.g. 60Cu, 61Cu, 62Cu, 64Cu and 67Cu) have become commonly available in recent years and cyclam-derived ligands are the most suitable ligands for Cu2+ complexation. To alter the complexation rate, bis(phosphinic acid) group is promising unit as it is able to complex metal ions in acidic solu- tions. However, geminal bis(phosphinates) represent poorly studied group of compounds and, thus, it is challenging to uncover their properties. Several simple amino-bis(phosphinates) were synthesized and its acid-base and coordi- nation properties were studied. Unlike structurally similar geminal bis(phosphonates), the title compounds showed negligible adsorption onto hydroxyapatite (commonly used model of bone tissue). The obtained knowledge dealing with geminal bis(phosphinates) was utilized in synthe- sis of two novel cyclam derivatives. The ligands (bearing either one geminal bis(phosphinate) or one geminal phosphino-phosphonate pendant arm) were synthesized by highly efficient procedure. The corresponding Cu2+ complexes are formed with very high rates and show...
Physical activity as a means of lifestyle change
David, Tomáš ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Hráský, Pavel (referee)
Thesis title: Physical activity as a means of lifestyle change Thesis objective: The objective of the thesis at hand was to verify effectiveness of the exercise program that leads to a change from predominantly sedentary lifestyle to an active one. Methods applied in the thesis: To find out the effectiveness of the controlled exercise intervention, it was applied, for three months, to a group of four persons (one male and three females, aged 28 to 36). The effectiveness was evaluated by exercise test in a laboratory run by FTVS UK in Prague. Outcome: The first proband managed to reduce the overall weight by 2 kg (i.e.2.65 %), out of which the percentage of body fat decreased by 11.82 % and the weight of fat-free matter increased by 0.2 kg (i.e.0.3 %). The ECM/BCM ratio increased by 0.04 (i.e. 4.7 %). The value of aerobic endurance VO2max increased by 8.9 ml.kg-1 .min-1 (i.e. 23.2 %). The running speed per one kilometre (min.km-1 ) at the anaerobic threshold level fell from the original 4:58 minutes to 4:30 minutes (acceleration of 28 seconds). Probands Nos. 2, 3 and 4 managed, on average, to increase their overall weight by 1.7 kg (i.e. 2.11 %), out of which the percentage of body fat increased by 3.07 % and the weight of fat-free matter increased, on average, by 0.73 kg (i.e. 1.11 %). The ECM/BCM...
