Design of manufacturing technology for plastic lever
Adamec, Lukáš ; Orel, Daniel (referee) ; Kandus, Bohumil (advisor)
The aim of this project is to design the most suitable technology for manufacturing of the set component. The project contains theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with division of polymer material and the description of the technology suitable for production of the set component. The practical part concentrates on the mould design of the set component including calculations and needed technological parameters of injection moulding operation.
Coupled model of transformer
Adamec, Lukáš ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Vlach, Radek (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the creation of a coupled model of transformer in the Matlab system. The coupled model connects two basic physical domains - electricity and heat transfer. It all starts with the selection of suitable equivalent circuit diagrams that represent the electrical and thermal properties. Their connection is then called as coupled model, which captures their mutual influence. An important part of the thesis is the identification of elements (thermal resistances and capacities, stray inductance, etc.) of equivalent circuit. Open-circuit and short-circuit tests are used to identify electrical elements, thermal elements are then determined from the temperature curves of the sub-parts of the transformer – core and winding. The goal of the thesis is that the output of the coupled model corresponds as closely as possible to the behavior of a real transformer. Compliance is verified by the final simulation.
Fungal symbioses in roots of the seagrass genus Posidonia: distribution, phenotypic and genetic variability and potential ecophysiological significance
Borovec, Ondřej ; Vohník, Martin (advisor) ; Gryndler, Milan (referee) ; Adamec, Lubomír (referee)
Plant roots host a wide spectrum of endophytic fungi ranging from parasites through neutralistic fungi to mutualistic mycorrhizal fungi. In most of terrestrial ecosystems, these groups of symbiotic fungi are well documented. However, much less is known about fungal endophytes of aquatic plants, especially the only group of submerged marine plants, seagrasses. We focused on roots of the seagrass species Posidonia oceanica which is a Mediterranean endemite. Its roots hosted an abundant presence of endophytic fungi. We examined the roots using optical and electron microscopy in order to study its morphology. We isolated the mycobionts and determined their taxonomic classification. A specific symbiosis of P. oceanica roots and dark coloured septate fungus has been recorded all over a vast area of the Mediterranean spreading from southern Spain to south Turkey. The fungus forms distinctive and typical structures: superficial hyphae occasionally forming hyphal sheaths or dense hyphal nets, intraradical hyphae colonizing extracellular space and, occasionally, primary cortex cells, and finally intracellular microsclerotia. The colonization pattern of the fungi resembles dark septate endophytes (DSE), group of fungi commonly found in roots of both terrestrial and freshwater plants. In our following studies, we...

Analysis and design of Business Intelligence solution for Adadenta company
Adamec, Luděk ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Šedivá, Zuzana (referee)
The main purpose of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the environment of the dental society Adadenta and to design a Business Intelligence solution based on this analysis. The solution is focused on owner´s needs to have a decision support. In order to achieve stated goals, I had to work closely with company owner. He allowed me to access company´s information system and he also provided necessary data for my analysis and BI solution. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. In theoretical part are readers introduced to the basic characteristic of Business Intelligence and acquainted with advantages of BI and key components. The practical part is divided into environmental analysis and BI designing resulting from analysis. The added value of this thesis is actual implementation of final application in Adadenta company like decision support and it should bring better prospering of whole company. Another benefit is possibility to use this solution in similarly oriented companies.
The analysis of strategy of chosen company
Rusňáková, Jarmila ; Filipová, Alena (advisor) ; Adamec, Ladislav (referee)
The master thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and deals with the development of tourism, business strategy in hotel trade and marketing mix. The second part is practical and is focused on the analysis of business strategy of Smaragd Hotel. Within the business strategy strengths and weaknesses of the hotel, competition, income and expenses, and marketing mix are analyzed. Based on the analysis, possible solutions of the future development of the hotel are proposed.
