Automation of process of inserting the part into the welding device
Adámek, Tomáš ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
Main topic of this bachelor thesis is the design of the automation process of inserting part into the welding fixture for resistence welding in he company PWO Czech Republic a. s. Valašské Meziříčí, active in the field automotive industry. Based on an intial research, containing industrial robots and manipulators, an automation concept is developed, including an economic assessment of the purpose of this automation. In the second part of the thesis is realized the construction of a suitable end effector, along with the technical documentation of selected parts of the effector.
Stemming Methods Used in Text Mining
Adámek, Tomáš ; Chmelař, Petr (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The main theme of this master's thesis is a description of text mining. This document is specialized to English texts and their automatic data preprocessing. The main part of this thesis analyses various stemming algorithms (Lovins, Porter and Paice/Husk). Stemming is a procedure for automatic conflating semantically related terms together via the use of rule sets. Next part of this thesis describes design of an application for various types of stemming algorithms. Application is based on the Java platform with using of graphic library Swing and MVC architecture. Next chapter contains description of implementation of the application and stemming algorithms. In the last part of this master's thesis experiments with stemming algorithms and comparing the algorithm from viewpoint to the results of classification the text are described.
Positive and negative impact of biomass combustion on environmental
Adámek, Tomáš ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is specialized research dedicated to the issues of combustion biomass. It presents fundamental problems of process of combustion biomass as well as significant influence of its production to environment. First part of thesis is dedicated to the definition of biomass, division and impact of biomass as fuel to environment. Second part deals with process of combustion and with related pollution.
Preparation of Homeworks in the Course Algorithms
Adámek, Tomáš ; Goldefus, Filip (referee) ; Lukáš, Roman (advisor)
The main theme of this bachelor project is creating complex homework collection for subject Algorithms. First part of this project deals with problems of computer algorithm. The knowledge of the computer algorithm belongs to basic knowledge of the computer programmer. There is brief description of the algorithm and data structure. The main part of this project deals of analyzing and creating new exercises for searching patterns in the text. Pattern matching in the text is used in the wide range of computer program. The implementation of this homework gets student a new knowledge about this theme. The next part of this implementation is also creating testing homework's for verification test. Last part of this project describes design and implementation automatic system for preparing and checking of homeworks in the course Algorithms.
Legislation and Valuation of Easements
Adámek, Tomáš ; Šmahel, Milan (referee) ; Sedláček, Jan (advisor)
My diploma thesis deals with the problems of easements put on buildings in the Czech Republic. The whole work is divided into the text part and the draft part. In the text part there are the common concepts going together with valuation in general, methods of the valuation. Next, there is a legislation of easements, methods and processes of easements and getting the value. Based on the knowledge gained in the text part, in the introduction of the draft part there is a valuation of the family house, including the whole equipment. On this family house there are three easements, including the easement of the free accommodation in one part of this house, the easement of the limitation of the construction activities, easement of the location of the mail box on the family house. The house and easements are valuated either for the taxes or for selling the building. At the end there is the final value of the building with easements, conclusion and recommendation for similar cases.
Construction of conveyor superstructure of mobile robot MiR
Adámek, Tomáš ; Szabari, Mikuláš (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the design of a conveyor superstructure of a collaborative mobile robot MiR. The first part is a theoretical research basis focused on mobile collaborative technologies and information related to Mobile industrial Robots. The following is a practical part built on previous acquired knowledge. The key issue of the solution is the logistics transport of the PCB magazine in the field of SMT industry. There are created two structural design variants of the superstructure arrangement for the transport of two binders and the most suitable variant is selected on the basis of the multicriteria basic method. The selected alternative of the conveyor top module is then subjected to design calculations. In order to obtain a comprehensive overview of the prototype production, the following section contains drawing documentation, including relevant comments, an economic cost estimate and a risk analysis.
Double Casing Condensing Steam Turbine
Adámek, Tomáš ; Richard, Fichtl (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
This thesis is focused on calculation of double casing condensing steam turbine with capacity 200 MW for petrochemical industry´s consumptions. Engine is projected for gas-steam cycle. It has one controlled extraction points placed between two bodies, two uncontrolled extraction points and axial output to air-cooling condenser. Balance scheme was made for 100% operation. Detail design is made only for ST/NT casing and it includes calculation of flowing part, selection of blade´s profile and its stress control. Rotor is checked for critical speed, safety rigid coupling is calculated and according to reaction forces journal bearing are designed. In the end regulation of turbo-set is discussed more precisely and there are calculation of temperature and pressure in uncontrolled extraction points during 80% and 60% operation. Thesis was written out according to Doosan Skoda Power´s instruction and with their cooperation.

Aspirin in the secondary prevention of ischemic stroke
Adámek, Tomáš ; Alušík, Štefan (advisor) ; Kalvach, Pavel (referee) ; Souček, Miroslav (referee)
Introduction: The recurrence of the cerebral ischemic stroke after a history of TIA or ischemic stroke is 3-4% per year. One way of reducing the risk of reccurence is using antiplatelet therapy. The aim of our study was to investigate the effect of aspirin. Even though, newer antiplatelet drugs were developed, their risk/benefit profile has not been proved to be better than aspirin. Reasons for using aspirin in secondary prevention are: the longest experience, clearly proven effect in many studies and low price. On the other hand, aspirin prevents only 25% of strokes, thus there is wide space for searching for causes of failed therapy and alternative therapeutic ways. Noncompliance of aspirin use and embolic events are usually indicated as the most common causes of an ineffective therapy. The goal of our study was to find the antiplatelet therapy effectivity in patients with history of stroke treated with aspirin in daily dose of 100mg. We assured 100% compliance among these patients and as much as possible minimalized a likelihood of embolic causes of strokes. What is more, we tried to find out whether an insuffient suppression of 11-dehydrotromboxane B2 correlates with comorbidities, other used medication or laboratory parameters. Furthermore, whether by administrating an increased dose of...
Response of the ATLAS Tile Calorimeter
Adámek, Tomáš ; Davídek, Tomáš (advisor) ; Faltová, Jana (referee)
TileCal is the Hadronic calorimeter covering the most central region of the ATLAS experiment which is one of the four major experiments at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. Main area of interest of this bachelor thesis is to examine the energy response and resolution of tested modules to electrons. Furthermore, the goal of this work is to make correction to the energy response with respect to the periodic structure of TileCal's cell.
