Subject: The knowledge of the sport performance structure with individual identification of the sport training model is a prerequisite for the effective management of sport training. Achieving the sports top limit performance in sport is possible by adapting the training plan to the athlete's individuality by his physiological and psychological prerequisites. To achieve the highest sports performance, sports training analysis is an indispensable tool for international competitiveness. This case study deals with the description of sports training models identified by the composition and dynamics of the training load predictors. A retrospective longitudinal study provides with insights into the possibilities of influencing sports training, which made national, Czech, records on the course of 800 m men and 3,000 m of women's steeplechase. Probandé (n=2) at the age of 21 (runner 1) and 28 resp. 29 years old (runner 2) reached limiting sports performances. The track record dates originates from 1995 to 2012. Runners were participants or medalists from top world or European athletic competitions. Objectiv: The aim of the thesis is to identify retrospectively through the found predictors, by whom were reached limit sports performance and sporting performance in the middle distances run. Methods: The...

Kaucká, Petra ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Semerád, Miroslav (referee)
Title: Hobby runners' nutrition during and after a long-distance performance Objectives: The main aim of the thesis was to find out hobby runners' nutritional strategies during and after long-distance performance. Then to examine their diet from qualitative and quantitative view of points. By labratory testing find out maximal functional parameters and body composition. Use of mouth rinse of carbohydrate solution during 60 minutes running performance. Methods: There were used biomedical measurements as body composition, bioelectrical impedance, labotory spiroergometric measuring by maximal stress testing. Field trials using sporttesters and mouth rinse of carbohydrate solution during 60 min running performance. Also during the 60 min running performance there was use of Borg's RPE scale to evaluate subjective perceived exertion. Another methods were interview with open questions and online survey. Results: Hobby runners'nutrition during and after long- distance performance is not in agreement with sports nutrition requirements, especially with requirements to maximalize the performance. Nutritional strategies don't meet the conditions to optimalize body regeneration and fullfilling energy substrates. The positive effect of 8% carbohydrate solution mouth rinse on 60 min running performance was...

Training strategy in the long sprint
Jiráň, Pavel ; Vindušková, Jitka (advisor) ; Semerád, Miroslav (referee)
Title: Training strategy in the long sprint Objectives: The point of my thesis is to compare the content and the extent of the sport conditioning of three selected athletes specialized in 200 meter dash, in 400 meter dash and in 800 meter dash. The other point of my thesis is to determine the identical and vice versa dissimilar elements in the strategy of the sport training for the long sprint within three selected athletes. Methods: In my thesis I used the method of description and comparison of the extent of the sport conditioning in pursued general and special indicators of the athletic training. Results: The representation of the training extent in the special training indicators was basically corresponding to athlete's specialization. I found the minimal training extent for development of special power within selected athletes P. J. and J. K. Only athlete P. S. has been attending the necessary conditioning in the full extent of the individual needs for the appropriate performance in the long sprint. Key words: Athletics, performance, training, 200 meter dash, 400 meter dash, 800 meter dash. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Case study of walk and run kinematics involution

Title: Case study of walk and run kinematics involution Objectives: Identify differences in the execution of walk and run, their time and space parameters, by two couples in close family relationship (father and son; father and daughter), who participate in the performance sport of running. Methods: Two family couples (3 men and one woman) participated to laboratory and field tests. Each subject participated in two kind of walk (walk on treadmill at the speed of 5km/h and walk on the athletic track - at natural walking speed) and according the abilities to 15 speeds of running locomotion (13 speeds on treadmill and 2 speeds on the athletic track). Kinematics of all speeds was analysed with the software Kinovea 0.8.15. The thesis is a pilot study, that is trying to ascertain the extend of difference of the execution of locomotion of subjects in the male parental line (father and son; father and daughter). Results: Noticeable difference in the characteristics of all measured speeds of locomotion are seen by the older two members of relatives (74,8 and 40,2 years), the faster was the evaluated speed, the larger was the difference in stride length (6 to 25 cm) and in stride frequency in walking as well as in running (23 to 38 steps per minute). For the second tested two members of a family (53,7 and...
