The testaments of Soběslav and the papers of probate proceeding 1455-1550: the possibilities their usage

Práce se zabývá městem Soběslav, které patřilo pánům z Rožmberka a dochoval se v něm soubor testamentů z let 1455-1550. Soubor se skládá celkem z 83 listinných testamentů. Práce nejprve popisuje testamentární praxi (proces vzniku testamentu) a soubor soběslavských testamentů. Samotný výzkum se zabývá nejprve testátory, kteří byli spřízněni nějakým druhem rodinné vazby. Podrobněji se práce zabývá jednou z těchto rodin, rodinou Račmanů. Druhá část výzkumu se věnuje dluhům a pohledávkám uvedených v testamentech. Tato část se zabývá lokalitami, se kterými vedli testátoři své obchody. Klíčová slova: Soběslav, testamenty, rodinné vztahy, dluhy, pohledávky Annotation Object my diploma's work is Soběslav town, which it belonged to lord of Rozumberk. There was still in existence collection of testaments from years 1455-1550. Collection is comprised of 83 testaments. The work discribes proces sof genesis testaments and collection Soběslav's testaments. First part of study pursue testátore, which they were akin to families. The work detailed discribes of family Račman. Second part of study disciribes by analysis debts and outstandings debt in testaments. The Urbar of Tabor's manor from (1466) 1510-1547: social and economic conditions

Ve své diplomové práci zpracovávám urbář táborského panství. Urbář byl sepsán kolem roku 1510. údaje z urbáře porovnávám ještě s dalším účetním materiálem, který se pro panství dochoval z 15. a 16. století. jedná se o nejstarší urbář z let 1469-1486 a výběrčí rejstříky z let 1498 (svatohavelský), 1502 (svatohavelský), 1503 (svatojiřský) a 1530 (svatojiřský a svatohavelský). Jelikož bylo táborské panství rozsáhlé, vybrala jsem si 24 vesnic, které budu zpracovávat podle údajů v pramenech. V pramenech sleduji vývoj počtu usedlých (držitelů gruntů či hospodářství), výměry polností zapsaných k vesnicím a jednotlivým usedlým, úroční dávky a formu dávek a změny držitelů gruntů. Annotation I adept the urbar Tabor's manor in my diploma's work. The urbar was writen around year 1510. I compare dates od the urbar with another accounting materiál, which it preserved from 15th ant 16th of century for manor. It is the oldist the urbar between 1469 and 1486 and tax collector index form year 1498 (sainthavel's), 1502 (sainthavel's), 1503 (saintgeorge's) and 1530(sainthavel's and saintgeorge). Clerical life at Žebrák in the high Middle Ages

The main subject of the Bachelor's degree work is monitoring the Church administration in the region in 14th century and at the beginning of the 15th century. The region Žebrácko laid in the deanery of Brdy, whose structure the author describes in the first part of the work. On the basis of the analysis of the sources, the author seeks to create an inventory of parish priests in the parish churches of St. William in Praskolesy, St. Giles in Hořovice and St. Lawrence in Žebrák. The work describes the mobility, education and other activities of individual parish priests. The author also explains the issue of the chapel of St. Procopius, in Praskolesy, in which were found the frescoes in 2005 from 14th century. The work also deals with the question of the patrons rights of individual churches. In this context, the author describes the rotation of the owners in selected areas, as it often held the patrons rights. The last part of the work deals with the Visitation protocol of the Prague achdeacon Paul of Janovice from the years 1379 -1382. The work describes his journey by the deanery of Brdy and focuses on the canonical visitation of monitored sites. John Henry, margrave of Moravia, and his wife Margaret of Tropau

This thesis deals with life of John Henry of Luxembourg and his second wife Margaret of Troppau. Their marriage life had important part in politics of Charles IV, who was master of marriage policy. Work is based on sources, in which Margaret of Troppau is mentioned. For example chronicles, acts and bills. First chapter is about terminology of marriage, then there is short chapter about first marriage of John Henry and Margaret, countess of Tyrol. Family of Margaret of Troppau is also mentioned. Main part of the work is about marriage of John Henry and Margaret of Troppau, but we cannot say anything definite. Bachelor work would like get to know family life of margraves, where they lived, how their court looked like or what happened to their children. Personality of Jan Sádlo z Miličína a ze Smilkova

My dissertation deals with personality of Jan Sádlo of Smilkov, who was a noble man in king's sevices and who lived at he turned of 13th and 14th century. Dissertation tries to express elemental aspects of his life, which determined his life and this dissertation also tries to complete missing information about his family, property and also tries to find in which community he could be found and with whom he kept in touch with and how can these persons influence his personality. Dissertation also deals with his career, mainly his activity in king's Václav IV. court, where he became a influential person, who became involved in political situation in country during the beginning of hussite revolution. In dissertation is also covered his political downfall and his death. Life of Jan Sádlo of Smilkov was in my dissertation shown as an exapmle of low nobleman who could due to political situation become influential person and who could become involved in political development. . The parish accounts of Tábor from 1509 to 1510

Tábor was a rich and prospering town with a large property base and flourishing crafts production, especially drapery. Since 1452, when it surrendered to bailiff Jiří of Poděbrady, it was a loyal servant of Czech kings until 1547, when it joined revolt of the estates against Ferdinand I. After suppression of the revolt, Tábor was punished by taking away a major part of its property and by the installation of the royal reeve. Since the Hussite revolution, influence of laymen on administration of fabrica ecclesiae (funds necessary for church construction, maintainance and functioning) started to rise, as the church was taken away its property. It was sacristans who looked after administration of fabrica ecclesiae. In the first half of the 16th century, officers took over that duty and sacristans were left just the duties at church. Reports on fabrica ecclesiae should have been recorded in a fabrica ecclesiae book, including incomes and expenditures, a list of instruments for worship service, and records of memorial and administrative character. Podebradian assemblies in Nymburk in the 15th century

Work is dedicated to assemblies of utaquists in Nymburk in years 1439, 1440 and 1444, especially in it's regiunal importance for the town. Firstly the work trise to discover th imporance of each participant of assembly in 1440 and their authority in county of Boleslav. This work tries to anwer the question where could these assemblies took place in Nymburk with use of archive materilas and literature and comparison with other towns, where took place similar assemblies.

The role of women in the work of magister Jan Rokycana

This thesis is focused on the role of women in the works of Jan Rokycana. Let me first introduce briefly his life. There is not much information about his youth left, but there are quite a few documented reports related to his life after the year 1415 when he became a Bachelor of Arts. While studying at University in Prague, he met Magister Jakoubek of Stříbro, after whose death he took over the leadership of the moderate fraction of Hussites. The 1430s affected significantly Rokycana's life. At their beginning, he became a Magister of Arts, then at the Council of Basil he argued for an article on necessity of Holy Communion of both kinds for laymen, later those years he was elected as the Archbishop of Prague, and at end of 1430s, he left active church and political life and took shelter in Hradec Králové. His stay in Eastern Bohemia is related to Hync Ptáček of Pirkštejn and to Jiří of Poděbrady, thanks to whom he was restaured to the position of the Archbishop of Prague and of the spiritual leader of all Hussites. The main tasks of Rokycana's life were defending the Communion of both kinds for lay people and establishment of the organized Hussite Church, which would co-exist with the general church. Church conditions of region Sedlčansko in the second half of the 14th and in the 15th century

In my thesis, called "Church conditions of region Sedlčansko in the second half of 14th and in the 15th century", I try to describe the overall situation of the Church in this period in the specified part of the Vltava deanery. I chose ten locations with particular attention given to the town of Sedlčany. In the first chapter I present different aspects of the town, from its foundation to the middle of the 15th century. Part of this chapter is devoted to the Church sights of the town. The following chapter presents the focal point of the thesis, which is the description of individual vicarages in the specified areas, the inventory of the priest placements in benefices, and the overall evaluation of the state of the Church in the Sedlčany area. For higher transparency I designed tables with data translated from Libri Confirmationum and Libri Erectionum, judgement rolls and registers of papal tithes. The following chapter deals with the Hussite era and its impact on the town. The last chapter focuses on the local Hussite legend called "Rosa" ("The Dew"). Reverberation comunications system Rosenberks in letters of Oldřich II. in 15th century

The aim of this thesis is to clarify the aspects of communication of the aristocratic family of Rosenberks in the 15th century. Attention is paid to the general phenomena of communication in the era of the High Middle Ages - the institution of messengers, which played the main role in the message transfering. By describing the life and political activity of Oldrich II of Rosenberk in the wide historical context, a personality is being pointed out, whose correspondence is of our main concern. The following chapters deal with analysing of information contained in the edition of letters and documents registered by the office of Rosenberk. On the basis of information imbibed by the study of documents included in the edition and literature dealing with the Rosenberk environment, the work follows, how the communication proceeded, who was taking part in it and which obstacles existed in this matter.
