Economic Evaluation of the Product Vertical of Sugar

The thesis deals with the economic evaluation of sugar production chain. The first part of the work includes general charasteristic of sugar beet with detailed description of its attributes and importance, its quality, realization of sugar beet together with an economy of suger beet growing. Another part of the work is orientated on sugar beet manufacturers. It contains sugar industry development in the Czech Republic and technology of sugar beet process for sugar and bioethanol production. Also results of 2014 a 2015 campaign and future vision situation after 2017 is included. The third part of the thesis deals with sugar consumers and a foreign trade of sugar. The own part of the work focuses on sugar beet cost and rentability of sugar beet growing and sugar or bioethanol production. Also an impact of selected variables on sugar consumption is analyzed.

Effect of external and internal factors on milk production and quality

The aim of this thesis titled "The impact of external and internal factors on the production and quality of milk" was to evaluate these effects in the company. Venture in which those effects are assessed is Kozákov-cooperative in northern Bohemia, on the border of the Bohemian Paradise and Krkonose Mountains foothills at an altitude of approximately 500 m. Kozákov-cooperative behaves Czech Pied cattle. Evaluated were about 290 dairy cows, it is mainly for pasture breeding. This team is not complete the objective of maximum intensity of the yield, but it is also to ensure that the cows produce milk more lactation periods. At present about 200 cows free housing barn in the BIOS, and about 90 cows housed in the stachion stable K 96. In this work we compared the influence of different conditions in the breed and type of housing.

Economic Evaluation of the Operation of Game Management at the School Forest Enterprise in Kostelec nad Černými lesy

The bachelor thesis deals with economical evaluation of the operation of game management. Thus how the School Forest Enterprise in Kostelec nad Černými lesy treats with resources invested to operation of game management. The document is particularly focused on the financial data of hunting grounds Bohumil and Radlice in years from 2013 to 2015.
At the beginning of this document are analyzed issues of game management, costs, revenues, hunting reports, beasts appreciation, damage and the protection of forest culture. The thesis informs about the organization of both the School Forest Enterprise and the Fishing and Game management Center. In the next part the accounting data and hunting reports of hunting grounds Bohumil and Radlice are analyzed in detailed graphical way.
The stress is put on costs added above the scope of commonly used for calculation of economic result from game management. It is focused on costs on protection of forest culture and on overheads which means on all own costs covering the game management operations.
The determined values are transferred to the price per kilogram for a piece of hunted and dead beasts. This will show how much has to be paid more for getting a profit when the costs are higher compared to the costs calculated previously.
Thanks to the complete analysis it has been discovered that according to the standard calculations the game management for ŠLP is profitable. This result is reached especially by the income from the sales of common hunts. The profit is getting smaller, when the overheads are included. In case of inclusion of the costs for the protection of the forest culture the result is even in red numbers.

Using of environmental enrichment for cats bred like pets

Environmental enrichment includes various forms of mental and physical stimulation.
It is one of the ways how to improve the life of the animals in a breeding facility, a zoo or home. The appropriate form of enrichment can help reduce or even eliminate problem behavior, and in some cases even behavioral problems. Enrichment can be divided into 5 types - social, occupational, physical, sensory and nutritional enrichment. For cats and felids is suitable nutritional (feeding) enrichment and sensory enrichment. The nutritional (feeding) enrichment and sensory enrichment is the most suitable for cats and felids. The other three types of enrichment can also be enriching. The aim of the thesis was to describe the possibilities of environmental enrichment for cats bred in captivity, primarily focusing on domestic cats. The thesis also includes a chapter about enrichment for zoo animals (both large and small felids) and for domestic cats which live in shelters. In addition to the theoretical part, questionnaire for interviewees (cat breeders) which contained several questions concerning breeding cats, knowledge of the term enrichment and the use of environmental enrichment by cat breeders was also prepared. During which some interesting results were found. Most interviewees keep cats in the household as a companion (85 %), only 15 % of respondents leads kennel. Most respondents keep cats without certificate of origin (pedigree) and only less than 30 % have a registered cat with the certificate. Most of the breeders keep the cats at least 3 years (75 %) and only 25 % keep the cats less than three years. Over 66 % of the breeders own more than one cat. More than 58% of cats are kept indoors only and a additional 10% of cats are kept indoors with access to enclosed outdoor aviary, only less than 19% of cats have unlimited access outside. More 66% of responders have another pet (e.g. dog, rodents, reptiles, fish, parrot). Regarding the knowledge of the term enrichment as such most of the interviewees did not know the meaning of the term enrichment (only 29 % knew the meaning). However, it was found based on answers of additional questions that a significant number of interviewees use the enrichment (over 43%). Over 21% of breeders are using social enrichment, 21% physical enrichment, almost 6% nutritional enrichment, more than 1% of breeders use occupational enrichment and only 0.8% use sensory enrichment.

The effect of soil agrochemical properties and fertilization on yield of winter rape in farming company

Rational use of fertilizers in an agricultural farm can increase its economical stability.
The analysis of data of the agrochemical soil properities in the vegetation of winter rape in a five year period showed if the fertilization system of Zemědělská společnost Chrášťany s.r.o. is set appropriately and where are the eventual reserves.
The analysis rates between the yield of winter rape and the individual nutrients content in the soil (P, K, Mg, Ca) and pH were calculated with the use of the analysis of correlation and regression. The same method was used in the evaluation of pure nutrient dosage in the applied fertilizers. The order of importance of the nutrients for the yield was determined according to the value of the coefficient of the correlation between the yield of rape and the examined elements. The examined period was consisted of the years 2011, 2012, 2013 and the analysed area of winter rape reached averagely 190 ha in each year, which was divided into 10 soil blocks.
The assumption that N fertilizing is going to have a greater influence on the growth of winter rape yield in soils with worse agrochemical soil properties, then on soils with greater nutrient reserve and a satisfactory soil reaction was confirmed. It is influenced by the fact of which nutrient is in minimal quantities in the soil. With the same N dosage the yield was better on soils with better agrochemical properties. The importance of usage of K fertilizers within years 2013-2015 is rising. The analysis pointed towards a strong influence of K on the yield especially in those three years. Greater influence of nutrients (P, K, Mg) from the soil reserve on the yield of winter rape was in years 2013 and 2014 with favourable weather than in other years. The recommendation of adjustment of the reserves of nutrients K, Mg and Ca in the soil according to the results of AZZP seems effective.

Issues of business logistics of company Pražská energetika, a.s.

This dissertation deals with the topic business logistics. The object of this dissertation is a proposal of a logistic model. Among the supporting goals belongs the improvement, acceleration, expense-to-revenue ratio reduction and the total increase in efficiency of the business and logistic processes in a chosen company. The chosen company is Pražská energetika, a. s. that occupies with the electricity and gas distribution in Prague and in the town Roztoky. It belongs to the main electricity supplier in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of this dissertation explains and classifies concepts, e.g.: logistic development, supply, transport, storing, business logistics, distribution and logical information systems.
The second part of the dissertation focuses on the trade logistic issues in the company Pražská energetika, PLC. On the basis of established information and executed surveys are drafted the solutions that can minimize the expenses and increase the efficiency of the logical and commercial model.

Modernisation of the customs clearance in EU and the Czech Republic

The thesis targeted on the area of modernization of customs clearance in the EU and the Czech Republic is focused on the specification of the systems and procedures used in the modernization of customs clearance when the electronic customs declaration is used. Mainly about the status of transition from the paper declaration to the electronic paperless customs declaration, not only in the Czech Republic but throughout the European Union.
Assessment data is carried out primarily for the period between the years 2012 to 2014, in some cases, for better assessments, in the period between the years 2009 to 2014.
The thesis is focused on the evaluation of the situation with modernisation the customs clearance in the Czech Republic and comparing the results between chosen EU member states and the Czech Republic. The usage of the electronic Entry Summary Declarations and Exit Summary Declarations have increased several times in last two years. Implementation of systems for lodgement and processing of customs declarations for more effective and efficient control of goods within the EU member states has also very fast growing trend with very low error rate. The rate of electronically lodged customs declarations is reaching in most of the EU member states almost 100%. Numbers of customs declarations lodged within the simplified procedures in chosen EU member states is more or less stable. The last part of my thesis contains the benefits for business community as well as for the state administration

Design of small water reservoir in cadastral area Volenice

The theme of this diploma theses is project of the small water reservoir on Mačický brook in cadastral Volenice. Water reservoir is designed mainly for the accumulation function, Water reservoir can improve water flow in the catchment area behind reservoir.
In the first part of this thesis is the literature searches which process the topic of the climate changes. Designed reservoir can work as a measure for mitigation one of the consequences of climate change drought. Further this section dealt with possibilities of design of all required elements for project of water reservoir.
The second part is focused on the very characteristics of the selected area which are used as base for the design.
The third part dealt with the design of the required individual objects for proper operation of the reservoir and their verification by using hydrotechnical calculations and flood wave transformation. Also is specified the design of the integration of the reservoir into the countryside by using riparian vegetation.

Mobile Telephony and Internet in Afghanistan: Issues of Network Coverage and Quality of Service

Based on available literature and author experience in field, there are some challenges existing in the area of network coverage and quality of service of mobile telephony and mobile internet of cellular networks in Afghanistan. These challenges were main driving forces which moved author forward, in order to specifically find that, which are critical, major and minor, and furthermore propose adequate solutions based on analysed data, tested hypotheses, available advanced technical schemes, and conducted interviews with end users, operators, the MCIT and the ATRA.
Among main findings belong, gender inequality, generational divide, and low level literacy in access to mobile service in Afghanistan. Obtained data further illustrates, the satisfaction degree of end users from the presence of network coverage, quality of service of mobile telephony and mobile internet. It furthermore indicates, the most annoying situations which end user experience during telephony conversation and mobile internet in the country. The Results show that, the majority of end users use mobile phone for telephony service, most of the complaints have raised from low signal intensity, low data rate, blocked call, dropped call, and low signal intensity in rural area (e.g. villages, countryside and borders). The dependency between specific categorical variables have been also tested, and based on the result of the chi square test, the level of dependency between them are determined. Advanced schemes of network coverage and quality of service proposed by various research scholars have been also reviewed in order to study and furthermore address the existing challenges technically.
Based on the results, author recommends deployment of small cells, increasing number of drive tests, appropriate location for BTSs installation, deployment of recent self configured/self optimized schemes of handover and neighbouring cell list, increasing the value of the base station parameters, deployment of high order Sectorization, and increasing of numbers of TRXs of base station as adequate solutions for removing existing challenges in the areas of network coverage and quality of service of mobile telephony and mobile internet in Afghanistan.

The analysis of some reproduction parameters of cheetahs (Acinonyx jubatus) kept in world's zoos.

This work is focused on the breeding of cheetahs Acinonyx jubatus bred in captivity. The first part is divided into two main sections and is processed using the available scientific literature.
The first section describes the history and current status of taxonomic classification of individual species and subspecies of the genus Acinonyx.
The second section deals with general biology of the species - characteristics, habitat, food in the wild, extending the route of exposure, morphology of the reproductive system. Separate chapters are devoted to the problems of rearing animals in breeding facilities - food cheetahs areas for breeding, a special section discusses the issues of reproduction in captivity.
In the practical part, an analysis of data from the International studbook Acinonyx jubatus 2013, focusing on the reproductive success of males and females according to their origin and age. Data was transferred to MS Excel and main observed characteristics presented in the form of graphs. The resulting data were statistically analyzed.
